Fieldwire - Construction App

This app is great for having plans sent toe and using on the go when I don't have a print available to me. It works great for scaling as well. My only gripe is that as an android user I don't get the cross hair magnification when scaling so it isn't as accurate as my coworkers who use the app on their iPhones. If there is a way to change that it'd be 5 stars for sure!

I've been in the industry for 25+ years and tried everything out there. Most had some cool unique feature or were trade specific driven. That's fine but most were complex, not user friendly to the old dogs, quirky, or had no integration with other basic management tools. That is what sets Fieldwire apart from others. It's intuitive, easy to learn no matter what age, and it holds your team accountable for what work they perform in real time. Regain control over your projects. Game changer.

Makes life in the field 100x better. Having all documents at your fingertips and ability to do live mark ups is awesome. I've used almost every jobsite program, Fieldwire is by far the most complete

I have not been using the app for very long, but I will say that it is user friendly, and a great tool to manage a project and have access to all documentation in one spot. I look forward to having this on future projects. Update: The app continues to be a useful and crucial tool for my project. I recommend all construction projects be managed this way.

I have the hardest time syncing photos. Fieldwires diagnostic is useless in resolving the issue.

I would like other option low cost, it's for foreman or carpenters that need check drawings.

write off the back jt looks plain and simple. I like that. however the first thing I tried to do was upload my plans and it doesn't load. I tried both on the app and on the web version. web only gets to 11% app doesn't even track whatsoever

needs a better organization system maybe a drag and drop files or at least a move to option. everything else is aces

SERIOUSLY NEEDS A Instructional YOUTUBE DEMO otherwise for a starter it is overwhelming complicated

Please add a copy button to the task names, in the task list and let us select multiple tasks to copy the name from with task number etc. add ability to set "use device camera" by default for photos. or at least use the full resolution of the device camera. ability to pin projects so they stay at the top of the homepage

As an individual in a small to medium size construction company, the Fieldwire app is immensely empowering. Through it's fully featured and fully encompassing software, you expect a higher cost and barrier to entry, but it is not, and then consider the ROI, awesome. The free without time limit version is a delight for users to truly test out it's effectiveness. Something the other softwares don't provide. Well done Fieldwire.

I love it. Simple and very useful menu. Pin point option with photos and links to other drawings is what I really need. It is fast and I completely stop using paper version of drawings. Many colours to highlight. Basic version is amazing and I will definitely expand to premium. From issue I notice only that , when I left the drawing on tablet with my marks and open later on the phone I lost recent marks and need to start again on both.Should be option quicksafe. And ruler not working on tablet.

Works great! Projects are easier to find and to observe the completion of each task!

Can you include more mark up features and also allow multiple drawings of the same as long as they are in different folders. There organ is great for markups but as you can only have 1 drawing of each type you then can't markup the same drawing twice. The next is sub folders for different drawing sets. The program is awesome but due to being in a large construction site I used it all day and these limitations due become a problem

A great program! Very helpful. I do wish the measuring tool was easier to use without trying to calibrate it. It should be able to select what scales the drawings are and calibrate itself. I have found myself off an inch or two while trying to calibrate it myself and suffered the consequences. In this business inches can make or break you. Overall though a really good program! Fat better than procore or others!

I have used several construction tools in the past, this is by far the fastest and easiest to use, extract information and manage daily tasks ie (Deficiencies) I have it on my desktop, phone and Ipad....A must have for keeping up to speed on always changing prints! 5 Star Rating deserved all day long! Great Job fieldwire team!

On the surface, these guys seem very organized. In your first week when you know 'Jack' about this tool, you get bombed with grabby emails. In my case, I was doing quiet research for a possible project app, whilst very busy at work. So passed. Now that I have time, I'm back on the trail. At three projects - free trial ends. At 'find out how much the next step costs, the UI is barren. Not an upgrade button in sight, so now it's either back to emailing or 'Jack'. That's the future.Pass. -Jack .

It's good fundamentally but it seems ridiculous that you can't set up a custom company template so that when you open a file onsite it has all your preferences loaded into it. I have to go back to a desktop every time just to load my preferences and logos for every report, it is frustrating that such a common sense process isn't addressed. And No you cannot copy an existing project set up from your mobile device like the developer suggests, It is reliant on the desktop to do that

The basic features don't really get the job done for what I was needing. Every time you try to access something that's not included in the free basic part it it makes you request a demo instead of just letting you upgrade and pay for the other features like a normal app. And then if you do request a demo you never get an email about it and you never get contacted about it like you're supposed to. I do not recommend this app. Don't waste your time!
