I LOVE FC workouts. There is variety for all types of goals and intensity levels. Being able to get my stretch and recovery routines in the same place as my workouts and being able to "stack" them to play automatically is GOLD. The one IT issue I had was handled very thoroughly. The new trackers and console fix a lot of lag issues. And they're pretty 😍. Kick tracking has been a game changer and adds a whole new layer of challenge to my routine. FightCamp for LIFE!
I love the workouts, trainers, and the layout of the app. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of how much of a pain it is to use on non-apple products (no chromecast, way more hoops than necessary to jump through to hook up to the tv, etc). With the quality of the workouts, training, and instructors though, still very well worth the hassle. Definitely recommended!
The workouts are great, coaches are great. The app isn't good, lacks fast forward, so when the app dies, you have to restart the workout. Also casting has lags, as it has to use wifi. They claim you can plug your phone but that doesn't work. Customer service is terrible, every time I try to use they just tells you to go back to the website and use it. If you ever have to deal with someone, called Xavier Edwards, assume that person won't help and waste your time.
The app is missing the basics which ultimately made me switch. There's not a TV version of the app so casting is the only option and inevitably playback lags, but the most annoying thing is that you can't rewind/fast forward the workouts. Sometimes I need to see a new technique demonstrated again esp as a newbie but I'm forced to either keep going or start the workout all over. Even the most basic workout apps have this feature. Overall classes decent. User experience lacking.
FightCamp rocks. I love the workout, and I've been consistently working with it for 6 months. Lately, though, there is a 30-second discrepancy in my workout timer and the trainers. So like, they'll be explaining the rounds combos, and I'll be fighting already. Im sure it's getting fixed, but it's driving me crazy. Also, some of those scores HAVE to be cheating, and it drives me nuts. I'll get a 350 and be top 10, and then someone will somehow score over 1k. Not possible. Stop cheating yourselves!
I love the workouts that are available and there are a lot to choose from but as an android user it's feels like it's missing so much compared to what apple users get to access. For 39$ a month it would be nice to have all the same features that IOS users get. personally I thing the extra fun stuff like solo and community challenges , etc. Would help keep me more engaged in the app and workouts.
I have been using the Fight camp app for about 2 weeks now and have to say I love the program and the app. The ability to "Stack" a workout together is really cool, with stacking you can go in select a warmup from the library of warmups, select a boxing/kickboxing workout, then stack in an abs/core workout at the end. Everything flows so smoothly have to say it is great. I just finished the 10 day startup program and am starting the contender path and the coaches are super encouraging. If you are looking for a great at home workout that you can customize to your needs there is no better place to look in my opinion. Have 20 mins you can pull in a quick boxing routine or core work or even a strength work. Have more time stack it all on and do a full session.
Purchased gear required, $140. Paid for 2 months membership, $80. My bad for not canceling after the first month. Literally stopped after 15 minutes everytime. Took 5 minutes to get sensors to turn on. The app kept freezing mid workout. Then I just get an email stating they've upgraded everything, only $250 more. Don't b suckered like I was.
not clear enough you cant do the workouts without buying extras from them quick download and and then a quick delete.
This app is such a headache Started well, after few questions they give you a personalized workout. Nice, in theory, but nothing works without you owning their trackers. As I had searched free boxing app and this ultimately isn't, I just wanted to delete it and that's where the headache start! You have to fill a form requesting your account to be deleted, it's a two step verification process, and after you verified yourself they tell you they'll message you to let you know. Why so difficult?!
Having a grand time so far. The workouts are clear, fun, manageable with skill level (mine is zero skill), and "gameifying" the experience is brilliant. Feels a bit like playing a video game, aka I forget I'm working out. Perfect. For those having issues with TV setup: I bought a $3 HDMI to USB C adapter and just plug my phone into my TV, so that's a good workaround since casting sucks. A smart TV app would be fantastic, though, devs!
I can not get this app to even download and install despite going through all of the instructions to fix it. Since this will not work without the app, I now have to cancel and fight for a refund when what I really wanted was to use the program. You either need a better app or a way to access it from the otherwise useless website. My devices are listed as compatible, yet here we are
I've enjoyed it, great work out experience. it's like playing Mike Tyson punch out and other boxing games but in real life. engaging workouts and instructors. technology needs a little work though. I've had several hiccups with my equipment which has prevented me from a full experience.
I've had fight camp not even a month... The bag is good.. the app works... But the customer service is horrible... The only number provided doesn't work ever... You can only email support and the take 48hours to reply and when they do it's the most level 1 troubleshooting ever.. is the trackers on 😡... Confirm your email with the app🤬.... Reinstall the app🤬... I've told you'll only one tracker work...I'm starting to not trust this company.. I e been waiting 2 weeks to get one tracker replaced
To be clear, my rating is for the app itself, not the FightCamp program. So far I'm loving FightCamp, but I only just found out there are a LOT of workouts missing from the Android app. Paying the same as iOS users and getting less content isn't a good look. I also ordered resistance bands from them, only to find out the new resistance band program is only accessible on iOS. If they update the Android app to give us access to all the content I will happily bump up my rating to 5 stars.
I recently signed up for the program and so far I'm enjoying it. Up til this point I willing to overlook that there is no app to stream on the TV but am more disappointed that I cannot use my laptop even. I am nearsighted and cannot see my phone screen while doing a proper workout. I would like to have either the ability to stream or the ability to use a website on my computer.
Having problems with the app. Paying the 40 bucks per month subscription but they do not have anyone customer support. Seems wild considering how much it costs. update: I found a way to book a call with someone a few days out on their website. Still not a great experience. I guess they want to save money on support.
I am unable to download the app - it errors out during install. I checked all of the fixes recommended and nothing works... I even tried installing some random other apps and the app store is working fine. Not sure what's wrong and why it won't install. Edit - I contacted the fightcamp support email for help and all they can do is recommend me to the play store help articles, which I have taken all their steps multiple times. Seems to be a real bug with no help, waste of money for me
Great workout. Total newbie to boxing. Usually home or gym exercise, for me, is super boring. I have to trick myself to get more physical movement in. I am horrible with team sports, more of a hike around in the woods sort of girl, build a fort, and get Exercise that way. I can't do that every day though. Tried this and fight camp totally tapped into those game/play pleasure zones in my brain and I am hooked. Still gunna build forts, but for my bread and butter, this is my new Jam...also puns.
Absolutely love fight camp, but have been paying for the membership for this app and have come to learn there are multiple features I don't get access to compared to apple users. The new things being added to the app don't apply to us non apple users. Can't participate in community challenges, chances to win prizes, different tabs and searches. $40 a month for as a samsung user and learning that apple users have multiple additional options and benefits feels like money wasted.
