Find my Phone - Family Locator

I thought I'd really like the app. It had features and details I just loved. So I bought it for a year for $49.99. When I included my wife, even though we were in the same car eating dinner on a road trip, it showed she was miles away...somewhere we hadn't even gone. I was so sad cuz I loved the app. It did cost a lot of money to not work properly so when I tried to cancel, I can't find a cancel option. And if I can get back the $50 I blew, I'll change to 5 stats for awesome customer service.

Do not purchase free trial. To begin the second I opened the app I realized it wasn't at all what their add made it out to be. So I went to cxl right away. It was impossible. To cxl. Very unclear. This is a scam all the way! Contacting customer service is ridiculous. So forget about that. I wish I would have gone to the bank the next day and gotten a new debit card instead of waiting to see if they would charge my card. So if you have the free trial. Go to your bank and deal with it.

I fgured out how to get the free version to work(just back arrow out of the ads to buy premium). I like the app a lot. I use the free features. My only complaint is that Premium is way too expensive. It seems that it is far too overpriced. I think that if you lowered the monthly&weekly prices & offered an affordable discounted yearly option- a LOT more people would buy it (& you would probably make more revenue). It's just too expensive. But I'd probably purchase the premium if I could, I 👍 it

Very depressing. I googled through play store find my phone apps, and Family locators came up! Definitely read the fine print!!! I thought for 99 cents, try it, boy, was that a mistake directions giving to cancel through the Play Store couldn't even find? Never opened the app once other than to try to find a place to cancel. I woke up to 40.00 charge for family locator today, and finally, by emails, only was I able to cancel I at least I hope but don't even bother with trying to get a refund

Working (not so) great. Time to update comments from 5 star to 1. Why does this app always run in the background? Even while my phone is sleeping and on data only and no GPS, this app will start up and run. I'm the Admin of this app. The problem is that it sucks down the phone battery in just a couple of hours! When I go to settings and stop the app, it just starts up again after a minute or two. Bottom line is if you don't require it, you should be able to STOP IT and it should STAY STOPPED!

No longer able to edit, or add zones. Only auto replies when reported. With how much we paid for the family version one would think it would actually do what its suppose to. Unable to get ahold of a live person regarding refund since the issue still hasn't been fixed after waiting patiently for several months. Save your money. Let my buyers remorse be your saving grace. Edited 2 add able to create zones again finally after more than 6 months. Now all users are unable to receive notifications.

I thought I was going crazy until I read the other reviews and see other people are having the same issue. The app doesn't work. Also they said to go to the play store and go to the menu etc to cancel the membership and that doesn't work. I'm Uninstalling the app but I'm having an issue about canceling the auto payments. Too difficult to figure out & use. Canceled subscription which was difficult to locate on website. Tried to cancel SOS but unsuccessful. Please cancel SOS $9.99/mo! Cannot figure out how to cancel. Your phone # does not appear on my bank credit card info. Never want to use Family Locator app again. You don't make it easy! A real time waster for me. Put in several days of attempts to install Family Locator, app never worked for me and too many attempts to set up and too many cancelation attempts.

UPDATE: My kids location only work half the time. You have to spend 5 mins to disable the inordinate amount of permissions you grant them and 3rd parties "by default" anytime there's an update...which happens often. STAY AWAY! There have been some occasional bugs, but this app lets me keep track of my kids and aging mother. I'm happy I bought the full version.

Installed itself on my phone.. not sure if it's to do with the update for android or samsung , but it's gone now. and a good job too , looking at all , these reviews. i don't know what makes these companies think that people just want them putting on devices without their permission 🙄 EDIT Just reiterate.I never signed up for this.It appeared on my phone after an update which I clearly stated , I thought was the case , and you just proven that you don't listen to anything that you are told.

I'm definitely less than impressed with this app. it doesn't track well. I went to the bank and grocery store today and it never registered either. I also live on a peninsula... I definitely didn't drive through the bay to get to the city. it doesn't track the streets you use it just draws a straight line from point A to point B. I have it set to track every 5 minutes but it doesn't. I do not recommend this app if you are tracking your kids. this is very unsafe app to rely on.

WORTHLESS!!! DO NOT BUY!!! They say it won't work unless the other person accepts the invitation. How's a dog without a phone supposed accept an invitation? STUPID!!! If I could give this a ZERO star, I most certainly would!! **UPDATE** I DID email for help, and that "help" has been useless!!

used to be 5 stars. can't log in can't do anything and family can't open it unless they all pay expensive monthly fees. I won't. I should not have to when I downloaded the free version. works if you want expensive rates to track family members. otherwise don't bother.

complete rubbish,I could not track the number I wanted to track,no refund and they continue the subscription even though I deleted the account. I can't even remember click any auto renewal plan I've been trying send an email, nothing

Have requested a refund. This app took almost $70, no email stating they have taken $68.95 from my acct. i havent used this app - i was trying to download a free app to locate my daughters phone. Ive just looked at my subscription, and im not even subscribed. So how can they do this. please refund my money.

please stop charging my card. I paid for three days, Am not interested in longer contract. Don't try to charge my card anymore. Thanks ..can you kindly unsuscribe me because I don't see any option to do it myself.

deducted money even after cancelling the subscription... had installed to track a lost phone, which it successfully failed at, then I cancelled the subscription but 1-2 days it renews without my concent and deducts money from my account despite cancelling the subscription. Scammers pure scammers.

worst app business taking money first when you lost your family phone and need to find. this app does not find at all the phone they first ask you money after taking money also that app is of no use . fully garbage . don't purchase at all.

never got it to work & to many ads!! I need to cancel my subscription & get my money returned to my card. this nothing but a SCAM!! before you pay, the app sounds great. but when you get into it, nothing like it says.
