Findmykids: Kids GPS Tracker

I was able to track someone on vacation, so I could suggest destinations to visit or nearby restaurants. There are features that I liked, such as hearing the surroundings. I didn't realize that you only had limited time and had to pay to top off. Some features were presented as "Would you like to..." only to find out it was an ad for yet another feature that cost more. You could improve your 'parent score' by purchasing more features. It was annoying to dismiss those ads just to use the program.

The app continues to close out in the middle of checking it. In addition, it places my child outside of their actual location at any given time. For instance, it placed my child at the corner 3 miles away from home at 5 AM. I subscribed to the monthly subscription but am unable to utilize any of the features. Instead, it continues to route me to plans in order to pay, again.

Nickel and dimes you for subscriptions. Nothing on the app is free. In the free part, it never let's you know when the kid is leaving. Never has accurate location. An actual subscription is about 50-100 a month, there's cheaper and better apps out there. now most of the original free features cost an arm and a leg. no, it wasn't a free trial period.

3 stars because, I love the options but the problem is you'll end up paying close to $140 to get to see your childrens apps., along with texts, phone calls, etc. if I knew that I would need to pay an extra $70, on top of the $70 I already paid to get the app to begin with, I wouldve just went woth life 360. price wise, its absolutley absurd.

I selected to do a free 7 day trial, but instead I was charged at that moment the monthly membership fee. I contacted support, of course AI bot is first, some hours later I got a real person. This person didn't get back to me until the next day. After going around, waiting forever...I was told I could get a 7 day extended/refund. To chat withsome1 takes forever just to tell me that it would end in 3 hours. So I wasn't able to respond back because I have a life! With little use I think theapp is

I would give a zero if I could. Misleading app. I bought the annual Care plan because it advertised parental controls like restricting games at bedtime. After paying, I found out those features are not included and require additional payment. What you actually get is basic location tracking. This is a bait-and-switch. I requested a refund within 24 hours and was refused. Bad business practices and poor customer service. Do not recommend.

This is a costly app that worked poorly for me. The app is supposed to be able to push a signal through to your child's phone even when their phone is silenced, but this feature rarely worked for me. It claims to allow you to listen to the surroundings on your child's phone, but that didn't work for me, either, and you actually only get 5 minutes of free listening but must purchase more minutes after that. It also drains the battery on phones.

I paid for the app, just to find out many features are not available on iPhone. for example tasks is not available at all, app block only allow a few apps, instead of all apps, I have many apps that I want to block but they don't offer the option. also voice listening won't available as well. For iPhone user, only very basic feature is available, so I feel like its a bit rip off. I do not know that before I paid $100ish for a whole year. and no refund is allowed.

A year ago the app would work fairly well and I could see my kids on the map, and see them moving in real time, but now, I hardly can see them anymore, an and they show up in the map, the information is at least several minutes old or sometimes even hours. Of course they'll argue that it has to do with the permissions on the respective phones, but if I was missing something about the permissions, the app wouldn't be able to see them ever at all! I'm not spending another dime on this app!

its was a very good tracking app. for about 2 months or so i am a subscriber too. it was showing live movement speed of the vehicle. shows the exact route. and then all of a sudden it doesnt do any of it anymore. now its no better than find my device on google. update! 11/6/2025. its gotten so much worst. now it doesnt even show where they are. its showing where they are like 2 days ago.

Over priced and does not work. It tracks but i paid over $80 for features that dont work. customer Service has not been helpful. canceling subscription pay over $80 dollars a year. for a Service that does not work. it won't block kids access to apps as claimed. Can only chat with customer service nobody will call you. They offer suggestions that don't work. Will be getting my money back.

so far so good. a bit of a hiccup as I ended up setting myself up as my own kid, but figured it out eventually. All the extra safety features cost extra $ on top of what I'm already paying yearly, which kind of sucks but also, I don't really need them. only 5 minutes listening time that you need to pay even more for to top up. Also the signal sound didn't seem to work while my kid's phone was on sleep mode or when their notification sound was set to 0 or mute, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Walked me through the whole setup AND THEN told me the features promised would cost me a certain amount. It was close to too expensive but I'd already set everything up. THEN it tells you that you didnt even unlock all the features, there's ANOTHER tier of payment required & at that point it's a scam. Now I'm stuck. Edit: After a year of use, I have to forgive a little. I still think the way they rope people in is scummy, but at least the app is super accurate.

Edited: The updates to the tracker have been effective. Sad, it's the feature I subscribed for, but I won't have it after renewal. Parenting controls that used to be included in the care plan- like being able to lock apps kids have access to or place time limits on them-are now locked until you upgrade to the $130 annual plan. No notice was given. I was surprised to see my kids on an app I locked. I tried to lock it again and was told to upgrade. Features being removed and cost increased.

This app will show your kid's location for free, but the other functions must be subscribed to. The price is reasonable! Update: I was motivated to pay for the monthly subscription for the 'listen to surroundings" function. It has never worked and no help to be found for it. I have had to reinstall the app several times using a new connect code. The app shows that I need to set up my kid's phone but in Pingo no other settings are there. There is no map history. I am cancelling this one.

I was under the impression that the initial subscription fee would include full access to the app’s features. However, it only unlocks basic functions many of which are available for free in other tracking apps. This was quite misleading. To access additional features, you need to pay significantly more and almost more than double the initial cost. Be cautious and make sure to read the fine print, as they do not offer any refunds, even if requested on the same day.

Update Lowered my rating. 2 big complaints. 1) Notifications child has arrived/left a zone rarely come in within a timely manner. Often times not coming in at all or even an hour later. This frightens me because it isn't dependable . 2) Trial isn't long enough to be able to decide if I want to spend $60. Month would've been better. Now trial is over I'm not sure which features have been shut off and which ones simply aren't working properly. Option to apply first month payment towards $35...

I love the idea of this app. I would rate much higher if #1 you could add the other parent without having to pay for a second subscription! and #2 if they would give you the option up front (which is way more than what you initially pay) to pay for the FULL package! I refuse to run my card a second time, so keep that in mind. if you want the full experience you will have to run your card twice! $25 the first round and around $26 for the second.

The app worked great at first. I pay monthly for the subscription version and the tracking was great. Suddenly in the last couple weeks the tracking barely works. It's constantly saying my son's phone is offline when it's not. It only seems to work when we're in the same place together. I tried uninstalling the apps from both my and my child's phone and going through the set up process again, but it's still not working properly.

Update, the service mo longer functions at all. Says the servers are down! Wish i could get my money back from this scam company. Worked great for the first 12 to 13 hours, so I pay for a year, and buy some minutes. Not an hour later, it started having connection issues. Have restarted both phones, uninstalled and reinstalled on both phones. Still has lots of lag and connection issues. Missing a lot of features that some 360 app has at about the same price.
