Very long time Fire Emblem fan, easily put hundreds of hours into this game. It was a very unique, strategic, and fun mobile take on the Fire Emblem series, but after the first 3-4 years or so the power creep became unbearable, the worst I've ever seen in a game by far. Additionally, when they rarely released new modes, 90% of them were boring and lazy. All of which lead to the game losing everything that made it special. I could write a book on the ways they ruined this once-great mobile game.

I'm sure it's a decent enough game, but the sudden astronomical data requirements only after downloading the game and playing a couple levels feels unfair. Even the lite option is almost two gigabytes, which is very unrealistic for lower-end phones to have space for and still do other things with. I wish the data requirements were just listed on the store page and not suddenly thrown at you after downloading.

The game is unique compared to other gacha, but as of the last two years, powercreep has gotten VERY bad. There is a meta defining unit released every month now. The game and the events are still fun, and pull currency is a bit sparse but manageable, especially because the game throws good free units at you often. Combat has gotten so overly complicated with lots of conditions and percentages, lots of calculations. They recently added QOL updates which were sorely needed, but years late.

I love the idea of this game and the concept but the mechanics are not at all like the gameboy/ds/console versions and the massive differences make this version of the game far less than enjoyable. you simplified some things and complicated other things. also, paralogues are supposed to give a new character. most of those in here do not. id LOVE to unlock more characters with the summer outfits but the paralogues dont award them. so. im done. uninstalling again. Likely won't come back this time.

Day 1 player here, but the power creep has absolutely ruined this game for me. There's no strategy that can compete with the new units they're releasing other than "spend money to get a chance at unlocking the new unit yourself." When every single character gets paragraphs of effects for all their skills and weapons, can attack up close or at range, gets immediate bonus damage and damage reduction, higher base stats and extra stat boosts to every stat, plus free healing every turn, good luck.

The game used to be amazing, now it's a more or less entertaining experience marred by rapidly scaling power creep, complicated skills that demand you do math for 10 minutes just to predict if you'll do damage in one combat sequence, and an ever expanding cast of mostly obsolete characters. I used to love thix game and I do still enjoy it but I can't in good conscience recommend it.

Plays well, looks great. Also, despite there being microtransactions, Nintendo makes it 100% optional to buy, due to getting orbs daily and after clearing the missions on each difficulty; by doing so, one who plays or buys will still have the same base chance and oppurtunity to get their favorite heroes from the franchise. Unfortunately, there's very unbalanced 1v1 modes, abysmal gacha power creep hero releases, and nothing unique or interesting to keep the game entertaining. Fell off very hard.

I played this game for several years and enjoyed it, until it became nothing more than a game designed to dump all your money into it. The amount of random elements they've added over the years have made it not only confusing, but borderline impossible to play unless you sink ridiculous amounts of time into it. The Arena and other multiplayer modes are genuinely terrible because of the people putting all their money in it and the power creep others have already mentioned. Uninstalling this sadly

Fun game if you're a fan of the series, awful power creep. it takes a lot of time to invest in your favorite characters only for them to be obsolete after a few months. you have to rely on getting newer character even if it's just to get their skills to give to yours. Most of the time your invested character won't be up to par. lately they've also done some changes, such as no more extra seasonal heroes during tempest trials. Just bad call on that; people enjoyed the free seasonal hero.

This game is alright in singleplayer, you might encounter some strong heroes here or there but the free heroes will help enough. Online, power creep ruins everything. Unless you have the most recent hero, you will lose. even worse, the resources needed to summon those heroes are extremely limited to veteran players who have run out of PvE sources. Overall, a typical pay to win game.

Probably one of the more generous gachas out there. Loads of free stuff if you work for it and save up. But recently, the game slowly becoming more of a cash grab through aggressive baiting, free stuff becoming less good, and the addition of a subscription service. It's still a fun game to play even if you dont spead money but it could be so much more. Still probably Nintendo's best mobile game. Basically, play if you're a fan of Fire Emblem.

Honestly, the game is a much more simplified strategy game than your traditional Fire Emblem title, but it can be fun. And it can also be very addicting. But now they've brought in a battle pass, which was a very bad call for a game like this. And they try to tempt you to get the pass by awarding you things you COULD get if you get the pass now. But honestly, the thing that turned me off was the summoning. It's just not rewarding, and there are better games worth my time.

I really liked FEH at first, it was fun and challenging, and I loved the feeling of getting the heroes I wanted. Now, though, it's just a desperate cash grab. With a $10 monthly subscription service and extremely limited amounts of free orbs, the game has lost it's charm. Normally I'd hold onto the app in hopes that it would improve later on, but since the game is a whopping 2.8 gigabytes, and my phone only has 16 for literally everything, I have no choice but to say goodbye to FEH for good.

This game evolved from a fun anthology of Fire Emblem history, to an aggressive pay-to-win game that now constantly tries to shove a $9.49 monthly subscription at you. It is now impossible to play the game without a constant reminder of what you CAN'T get without it. If you haven't played this game for a couple years, don't start now. You'll be annoyed at how you can't progress to compete with long-time players and have the Pass dangled as the fix (it isn't, it won't change your disadvantage).

I've been playing almost since launch, I loved the game. Getting to see my favorite Fire Emblem characters with all new art and voices was great. Slowly its become a money sink that is now pay walling people out of needed quality of life changes. It'd be okay if it was just "hey here's a thing you can buy each month for some extra orbs and a cool new character you can also summon" but no. They're outright locked to the $10/month subscription and they shove it down your throat. Avoid this "game".

I've been playing this game since Day 1. I love the FE series a lot. There's nothing inherently wrong with this game itself, but rather the direction the developers are taking it. The power creep is getting out of hand, every time new Heroes are added, their abilities are explained in literal paragraphs that fill the screen! If you pay for extra summons, you could get all of the new Heroes and dominate the field. Otherwise, the free pulls offer a small chance at any good unit.

I have played this game since the first Christmas banner and really enjoyed it, but the powercreep has become extremely bad, on top of poor marketing choices like locking useful features behind a paywall. I can't use any of the characters that I like without severe penalties because of how much of a gap there is between them and the new units. I love fire emblem, and I really did love this game, but it's just disappointing where it has gone.

I have been playing the game since the release of skill inheritance. 1: For a PvE game, the game does not have a good story, like it's really mid and disappointing. 2: Graphics are good. 3: The gameplay is good. 4: Skill creep and stat creep are very noticeable, but you can still make older units useful, though definitely not close to newer heroes. 5: It is probably just my luck, but I have not been able to get any of the recent heroes even though some have increased chances ranging from 3-8%

It's fun for the gameplay, but if you have a particular character you like, they'll be outclassed by the next shiniest thing on the shelf. This is especially hard hitting for units who are 5* exclusive and cannot be summoned at lower rarities, as the developer's refusal to buff or nerf units or skills post release means they get rapidly outstripped in power. At the end of the day, the game may fight you at every turn if you try to keep pace with it, and offers little to fans of older units.

UPDATE: Ever since the new Aether Raids feature was implemented, I've started hating the game. That mode is ridiculously hard and consists of a lot of luck if you don't have overpowered units. That mode started to make me realize that the rest of the players were right about Nintendo's (or Intelligent Systems') greediness starting to get really up high. I'm not going to spend a lot of money just so I can play AR for the rewards. And I'm also not going to spend a lot of money to get the newest units so I can grind for the new dragonflowers. ORIGINAL 5 STAR POST: I'm what most would call a hardcore gamer; which means that I don't play smartphone games. This game app is the only exception.
