Fire Hero 2D — Space Shooter

I re-downloaded this game starting from scratch, and I felt the same as when I played the first time. Once you get all legendary gear, the only thing you can grind is upgrading talents. It's still a decent time waster, and I do see some new slots, so, hopefully, some more things will be added soon. However, it is slow now. I recommend Open All and Merge All buttons for chests and items. Since only identicals merge, I don't see the point in having to consistently press 3 of each item to merge.

Easy concept with a good gameplay loop, but you're required to watch an ad every single run. They pretend you have a choice to watch one to keep playing, but even if you say no in order to start a new run you're stuck with an ad. That's not how you get people to play your game. A minute and a half of gameplay is not worth an ad.

It's a short time waster, but the amount of ads is ridiculous, 3 per level. There's also no merge all feature, and if you close the app mid level it doesn't save your progress. Your ship has 2 extra locked slots and a locked menu in the bottom right but as far as I can tell there's no way to unlock them? hopefully it'll be added in an update soon because progression is very fast. I've almost gotten every legendary weapon, and there's not really anything else to do after that.

When I first downloaded this game, I wasn't expecting much. Just another mobile-ad game to make fun of. However, after playing this for a couple of hours, I find myself thoroughly enjoying Fire Hero 2D! If I may, I DO have a few things that might make the game a little more interesting: First, I think players should be allowed to customize the color of their bullets in addition to their shapes. Second, each bullet should come with their own respective buff instead of a blanket +20% damage buff.

First want to say that I used an ad blocker, so not a single penny in ad revenue was made from my time playing. I'm playing this game a lot, it's repetitive but it's fun. The reason for the low rating is that I've been saving up my talent points to buy a 10 gold chest bundle. It was a long time before I realized that as I earn talent points, the price of that bundle goes up. And worse, the price goes up faster than I can keep up with. They designed it so that you need to buy it with money.

This is a pretty fun game. Ads after each level, but not too intrusive. My only complaint is it has been crashing and skipping pretty badly for the last couple days. Makes it unplayable. I'll give it a couple days and see if it clears up. EDIT: I changed to 1 star because the game has become completely unplayable. It crashes constantly during most ads and randomly during game play. The game is short. Within a couple of days, I already had all of the best stuff in the game. Without anything more to do, I have no reason to play the game. An expansion of some sort would be cool but length isn's the main issue. You get an advertisement on your screen pretty much any time you do anything. I can understand that the developers need money, but it feels excessive. Not only that, the gameplay is just not very fun, although it is nice watching your ship get stronger over time. 3/5

It would be very easy to improve this game. There's a large difficulty curve and it's nearly impossible to play after a certain point. I got stuck at level 26. I stayed through it because I like the upgrade system, and it's a good time killer. If the difficulty was balanced then it'd probably be 5 stars. Also, whenever you watch an ad to revive, I believe it nerfs your damage (without telling you), causing you to instantly die in the next few seconds. Very scummy.

The game itself is fine. It's what I wanted. But when you flat out say "This game has no ads" and it isn't true, I draw the line. Firstly, it claims no ads for like 7 days unless you pay when you actually get in the game, so that is the fine print I guess. Still a lie But then...I'm playing and it shows me the 3 power ups I can get, and I pick one...and guess what?? An ad!!! So I can't even trust the lie not to be a lie. I can't stand when life is just manipulation in every form all the time.

Get used to watching hundreds of ads. Even with every upgrade, it's virtually impossible to level yourself up with just game play. Right now, I need like 300 quadrillion to level up my fire rate. I only get about 1 quadrillion per game. Ridiculous and scam worthy. PASS THIS ONE UP. Also, please don't respond with "we need ads to keep the game free. If you seriously think this game was going to SELL, then it makes sense when you DONT think about it.

This was a decent game before the update, but after playing with the update the game has surprisingly gotten more fun. The only things keeping it from a 5 star rating are the excessive amount of ads (literally one after every game is far too much in my opinion.) And that I wish there was a pause feature during games if you get a text or a notification during one, as you can't really do anything about it. Overall, a pretty solid time waster and game but definitely could use some work on the ads.

So. Many. Ads. I could honestly play this game for hours but good lord there are far too many ads! Ads in mobile games should be available if you want, say, an optional boost after a run. Not after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. What also doesnt make sense is that to continue after a death, requires an ad, understandable, but even if you want to go back to the menu you are forces an ad. This is a good game absolutely ruined by ads, its a shame.

The game itself is actually kinda fun, but there are so many ads I'm uninstalling after playing for only about 10 min. I would definitely play this game more if it had far fewer ads. I'll tell you the straw that broke the camel's back. I lost the level and it gave me the option to continue after watching a add. At this point I was already annoyed with the number of ads so I said no. It played a ad any way. So...2 star rating for making what would be a decent game unbearable. Uninstalling.

The game is a fun time waster. The main issue is all the ADs! And not short ADs. You get the full 30 seconds and then you have to wait an additional 5 seconds for the 'X' toa appear so you can close it out. I was tempted to purchase the No ADs, but the game isn't worth the $7 they are asking (in my opinion) So, if you don't mind a ton of ADs after every level, death and the optional bonus points, this is a really good game.

Incredibly predatory ads, not only an ad after every game, you get ads after every boss during your run (which can be up to 30s long) so you are literally punished with more ads for doing better. the difficulty curve is very high and while the gameplay is generally fun it is just ruined by the sheer amount of ads (expect 2-3 a run after doing 10+ runs, you'll be watching far far more than that not long after) and there's also no import for cross saves to another device or re installing.

Here's a lot about this game I don't like. 1, Fewer ads would be nice but I get it. 2, You have everything in the game by the time you reach level 20, I think there should be more upgrades. 3, When you watch an ad to revive yourself, it seems like your damage is reduced,(cheap) so you die immediately. 4, Every time you open 10 chests, you get TWO superior items. It disguises itself as luck when really you're guaranteed to get 2 superiors every single time you open 10. That's really cheap. Yikes.

Personally, the game has been enjoyable to play, but this is the only game that I've played that I've seen the following issue. About 50% of the ads played are zoomed in, with no way to access the "x" button to skip or close the ad, which then forces you to completely restart the app, which gives you no rewards from the run you just played. I've now played 6 runs back to back, with no rewards, and im not going to pay $7 to remove the ads. Until this gets fixed, my rating will not change

I was enjoying the game even though there's a fair amount of ads. I had put several days of solid game play in and had to uninstall because of a Facebook ad. It was a 30 second ad that at first stopped me before I could start playing. You had to watch the ad then click either replay to watch it again or learn more which played another 10 seconds of it. No matter how long you waited there was no X or anyway to close it. Glad I didn't waste money on this game. Good job Fire Hero.

I had this game on my last phone without adds and so much further along than I am now. I don't mind having to restart but honestly not having an option to restore my purchases is frustrating. Edit: I have to give this a lower star rating because this game used to be so great, but now when it's supposed to be a 100% of double coins with the higher ranked ships and items, it doesn't give double coins at all. This game has turned into garbage.

I downloaded this game from an ad, that said this game had no ads. Not 30 seconds into the game for me, there was an ad. False advertising. EDIT: The developer response to my review fails to take accountability that they falsely advertise this game as ad free. I don't care what your reason is for having ads. The fact remains. YOU LIED. Blatantly so. I came across this game again from the same ad that says this game does not have ads.
