Fishing and Life

Ads have ruined this game for me. I used to play Fishing and Life frequently and loved the cozy feel of it. Recently, I decided to re-download the game. It's an entirely different experience now. So many features that used to be standard parts of the gameplay now require you to watch unskippable ads (such as feeding the fish in your aquarium and redeeming chests), there are ads for 'naughty AI' on the cabin (breaking immersion), and the UI is cluttered The whole thing feels cheapened :(

I wish I could give this game a better rating because the game itself is a 10/10 I love it but the ads make It an unenjoyable experience. I tap on them to try to feed my fish as theres no way around it and I watch the ad to completion and try to press the button and it takes me to the play store causing me to press the back button and reload the game,there is no way around this and occasionally I can get my awards but most times I can't. great game but the ads placement and usage needs work.

I really wanted to enjoy this and rate it highly. Yes, you can play offline but when each fish gives $90-$200 and one ad nets you $3k...also, some ads force you to visit the play store as there is no option to close the ad. It is chill and relaxing, but knowing my best source of progress is ads doesn't make the game feel good. It could be a great game and the art style is nice, but the execution just feels bad.

I like the concept, and the art design of the little fish. However in almost every aspect gameplay hits a wall and demands money before I've had the chance to get involved. After initially piquing my interest, the game became an arduous slog within a week. Yet another game with potential that was released unfinished. My advice: let someone else be their product tester and try it after a few more updates.

It really is an amazing game, it's both challenging and relaxing. The ad reward system is excellent, it's also a great combination of grinding and idle gaming with options to keep what you catch in a fish tank that earns you in game currency and you can sell what you catch. Great overall game. Edit: I lowered from 5 to 4 over the whole fish summoning thing, don't waste your money, the fish appears nowhere near you, and it's impossible to find, adds stress to the game.

This game would be fine if there weren't as many ads. I'm fine with the occasional ad, especially because this is a free game. But there are too many ads. And the game is not relaxing just for the fact of all the menus. I want to actually relax in a relaxing game. But the menus, ads, and chests just don't let me. The menus are confusing and annoying to navigate, plus there are so many useless menus. The chests just stand out and don't make any actual sense in the game. It has a good concept tho

This game is, well amazing in my opinion. It's relaxing, calm, and so much more. There's only a few problems that I've encountered, the first one is the pop up ads. I know people say that those ads are five seconds, but for me it's about twenty. And the other problem is that, sometimes the store glitches out and the screen freezes. I know it's not my device, because it never happens. Please improve these, I will give it a five start rating if you do. This game is amazing. My favorite. Thats all

played for a few minutes, it's really chill and relaxing. I would suggest putting ads in a slightly less intrusive place. spacing them out might improve life span. I was put off by too much too soon on the ads. but also ask for a review of the game after the player has had some decent time to play, after I get out of the tutorial isnt the best place. but all those are just imo, I do think that you have solid game and i do like the play on escape. gives me some stardew valley, I like it!

Overall it's a great game. Been playing for around 3 weeks and enjoy it. I don't have many issues but will leave them here, both for Creator and players. 1. Lots of Ads and even the paid version still has aquarium ads. As much as I enjoy the game 8$ is a lot for a mobile game. Make it truly no Ads and cut that price in half and the players that get it would make up for the difference. 2. Would love to see more aquariums. Want to categorize fish, maybe even backgrounds?

Definitely getting that dopamine. My one braincell is very pleased. I study graphic design and this is one of the prettiest games I've seen out there! The flow is nice, the graphics are top notch, and the ads are very discreet (they're often only shown if you want to do bonus actions. You can just turn of wifi otherwise.). It's very soothing to play after a long day. My one complaint is that I wish there was a way to sell fish from the net individually instead of in bulk.

Would be 5 stars, however, the game has crashed twice. Not normally a big deal, but both times it crashed it cleared out all the slots I had bought in my aquarium. I had 14 slots filled with whales. Got no money for them, just gone. To top it off, I had to purchase all the slots again, and again. Highly annoying considering I didn't lose any other progress. Makes me want to delete the game.

This is honestly a wonderful game. But there are so many ads I can't actually relax and have fun. Tk go further out to sea, you have to watch ad after ad, and I can kind of understand having to watch ads to open the chests, but there's so many, and you can only have 3 or 4 chests in storage, so it screws you over. I just wish the ads were at least less than 30secs each so it doesn't take forever to get back to playing.

So I want to start by saying wonderful game, very beautiful for a mobile game, and honestly relaxing to play. If you're smart the grind to get the best gear is not insanely hard and you have fun along the way. Great game, keep updating dev!! Though there is a bug where fish sometimes spin out of control in the same spot and cannot be caught once doing so. Bad bug. Gotta reel in and hope I don't waste my bait. Also would like an option to use a fish you're already carrying as bait. Otherwise 💙💙

If you like the game and know you're going to come back to it for a while, buy the ad free. DONT buy any gold! I make the $50 amount of gold in a couple hours, and I'm only about 1/2 through the game. FOR THE DEVELOPERS: the "summon fish" requirements are completely unbalanced! The requirements are too high for a 3 minute window to get the fish. I spend 2 minutes just trying to find it. And when I fail, I have to catch way too many fish to try again. Lower the requirements and extend the time.

Honestly , I feel like the other reviews are looking at it from a competitive standpoint. I dont feel like that's what this is, as the title and intro implies, it's fishing and life. As the cutscene shows the guy getting away and unwinding. This game provides a good mix of relaxation and strategy. I'm sure there are quirks , but all games have this. But overall with the art style, mechanics, and astounding choice in music, I feel as though this legitimately deserves the 5 stars I'm giving.

Very fun. Simple if you want to play leisurely but it can be moderately in depth if you would like to play that way as well. Many fish and other creatures to catch. The aquarium is pretty sweet tbh. Just throw your fish in there and let them gather money for you while you are playing but they don't when you are away from the app. 1 coin per fish per second. I have 18 fish, that's over 60,000 coins/game currency an hour. Keep your fish fed though like the description says lol. Amazing game!

It's a great game.. tbh I'm still thinking about giving it 3 stars. My biggest issue is how many ads it has for literally anything to do in this game. Want to open up golden chest you found? Watch an ad. Want to feed your fish? watch an ad. There is an option to buy the game without ads but 8.99 usa dollars is to extremely expensive for such a game. 3.99 would've be fair. Anyways, the ancient sea event is fun. The music is relaxing! But small fish have an extreme High level for what they worth.

This game is already a nice game to play, but I believe some things should be added to make the game a little less frustrating. First of all, instead of making bait guards a one time use, make them more expensive and have them last forever/ be upgradable. Also, I think if you reach a certain level you should just be able to catch level 2 fish without level 1 bait. Overall a decent game but more should be added.

A relaxing experience, to be sure. I also like the option to skip the ads; i don't mind watching to feed the fish or open a chest for money. Sometimes the ads won't load and i can never feed my fish. It would be nice if there was an option to use your gold to feed the fish for those moments. Perhaps a few more relaxing songs would make this even better.

Game started out promising. Mechanics were cool and gameplay was chill. I even paid the 8.99 to remove ads because I thought I found the perfect relaxation game. Boy was I wrong. The game gets so boring and frustrating just a few hours in as you start looking for higher level fish but have to go through the chore of getting past low level fish and upgrading and all that BS. Such a shame, could've been a good game. Don't waste your time.
