tldr: not worth it, even the free version. it has the makings of the good app but the free version did not convince me to buy the paid version. not many workouts, especially at home without weights, available. free version won't let you swap out exercises or log rest time. basic exercises and plans were okay, but only three workouts were available before you'd need a subscription.
Thanks for the reply, I didn't realize there was an option to create your own. Still wish some features weren't subscription only -- I suggest the developer integrate ads in the 2 minute rest period between sets. This would allow a steady income for the developer and a free option for those of us who don't want to do a subscription. Otherwise, it's great but not worth $6.99 a month for the rest of my LIFE.
This app is VERY misleading. It says it's free. However, after 3 workouts in any given category, you are forced to subscribe in order to move on to the next workout in the series. So much for a FREE workout app. With that being said, the workouts are very effective, and I love the app. I am just not prepared nor in a position to be able to subscribe..... I guess I am going to have to continue to search for a truly FREE workout app.
There's not too many exercise choices without equipment. The great majority of what's listed is different kinds of planks, squats, push ups, and jumping/clapping. That might be enough for some people, but im looking for stuff that I don't normally think of off the top of my head. I'm trying to find stuff i can do to stay healthy without straining my chronic pain. Once I picked through all the choices that might work for me I was left with only 12 exercises. Other apps had more ideas than this.
I am using the free version and created my own workout which was very time consuming considering you need to enter sets, weight amount, etc. for each individual exercise. Unfortunately, when I begin to workout, it's very counterproductive! I have to stop and enter the reps that I did, the weight used, and why when I said what I wanted to do beforehand? The exercises do not manually go to the next one. It's just odd.
This app is great. I've been using it for almost 2 years. It shows you EXACTLY how to do a workout and gives you other variations to pick from. The app WILL insult you at the end of the workout if it thinks you didn't give it your all 🤣. I'm doing advance workouts to challenge myself,so I cannot do a lot of the heavy lifting yet that the app thinks I can do. So I do get insulted at times and other times I get praised. I love this app.
Been using this for like a year and some months now. It has workouts that works and suggestions that you can alter between. My main issue with the app is the suggestion or alternate exercises. Some of them may not be something that you're interested in doing or your gym/ home gym may not have available. When cycling through alternate exercises I just wish there was more than 5 so I can do a workout that I actually can do or enjoy doing.
Wouldn't recommend this app at all. I downloaded a workout and started. After 4 days of workout, it said, "Now I need a subscription to continue. When I was starting the workout, there was no way to figure this out, and now, after 4 days, it gives me this stupid surprise. Don't be shocked if you pay and half way into the workout, they ask you to pay more to continue
the only reason I don't give 5 stars is because it does not have watch app for Android, only for iOS, but the app is great and the workouts are very easy to follow. I've been using it for two years now and I've seen the results immediately from the very first moment. Another improvement if suggest is the possibility to see both measurement systems (kg and lb) because most of the times they machines use different systems and it's very inconvenient to go to settings to change it everytime
I will give all the stars in the sky for this fitness app, it is very helpful for overall health management. It provides good guidance on diet, medicine, and physical training, making it useful for male & female of all age groups. The workout plans are easy to follow, and the health tips improve knowledge about proper exercise and lifestyle habits. Progress tracking and reminders help in maintaining regular fitness. Overall, it is an excellent app for fitness, health & diet.
I love the app and the variety of gym workouts you get, the diet, supplements recommendations as well as the community. The only issue I have is not being able to lock your previous day(s) workout the next day. For e.g on my cardio days I sometimes forget to lock my sessions because I would've went for an outdoor run and I leave my phone behind, when I get back I forget to lock the workout. I'll only remember the next day but then the app doesn't allow that 😫
I really like this app, but the exercises are limited. please add a more diverse listing, something a bit more modern. look at any social media app of those posting exercises and you'll get it.
its very good this app, but I can't find where I change my password for my login I made login by Facebook but I would like to have acess with my email and a password
Great app with potential to be even better. Good exercise variety including functional and mobility exercises not available in most other apps. Nice exercise progressive overload settings with the ability to recommend target weight as pct of 1 rep max and ability to use pyramid sets. This app would be even better if the weight as a pct of your 1 rep max was automatically calculated and there was the ability to create your own exercises. I'm really looking forward to future updates.
As for now, everything looks promising. There are some parts that can be adjusted. i.e. for home workouts would be great to have the ability to checkmark things like dumbbells or jumping rope that you possess. and to be able to pick, which weights of dumbbells you have. So that program will use that data for training.
Just Started. Easy interface. Needs upgrade of forcing me to get to the gym. :)
very uselfull app, specialy the calender and the workout items description, I really enjoy it and use it as my main app for the gym
I have been using the free version for about 3 months, and I love it!!!. It was a little confusing and kind of complicated first, but once I learn how to set my daily routines I won't change it for any other app. I like that I can learn the correct posture for the exercises.
Great app and fitness tracker. I use it for working out at home and the workout routines have been excellent and they challenge you more over time. In the past I had struggled at times to know what workout to do each day but this helps take away that stress. The only issue I have is being unable to sync it with Google health connect. I see no options for it under data sharing
I really enjoy this app, as it provides a very detailed and convenient workout guides, which is really great! Couple of things that may be improved: 1. When in workout, switching to other apps, and open FitnessOnline again, exercises are grayed out and spinner under the header indicates that app is getting something from the internet before re-enabling. 2. Sync with Google Fit brings in 8 min of treadmill only as a walk, but not the rest of the workout exercises that pertain gym equipment.
