I dont care what you say, this is the BEST original Scott fnaf game. The storyline might be a little complicated, but it really makes up for what fnaf 3 lacked:scary jumpscares. The gameplay is great, similar to the first game, but requires you to move. This would have been 10 times better if the halloween version was also available. The only problem that I have with this is you never see nightmare Freddy, just in the jumpscare. Other than that, the game is perfect! 5 stars!
Amazing game! I love how you gotta be quick and check the doors and bed. But there's an annoying thing that is wrong with this game. When you do the sound test, your volume is required to be maximum. And it kinda hurts my ears when I get jumpscared. So if loud sounds hurt your ears, I suggest putting on Headphones and turn the volume down enough for you to hear the breathing. (Tbh the jumpscares make me jump cause they're unexpected)
Okay so, this game is hella fun. Terrifying, but fun. The issue with the mobile port is that when you click the flashlight or close door option, sometimes it'll just- buffer. Then sometimes when you try to turn around it'll make you go to the closet instead. I feel like even if this game is really old, it's still one of the best ones out there, so please fix the bugs 😭
Gameplay wise, this is my favorite entry in the series. The reliance on audio and removal of the camera system entirely makes the gameplay very balanced with every threat feeling equal in terms of difficulty. However, the Android port I have a hard time recommending. There's some slight delay when traveling to a new area or turning. While this isn't normally an issue, Night 8 (4/20 Mode) has a threat that reacts faster than you can, so clearing this mode is impossible. Play the game elsewhere.
Don't get me wrong, this game is fantastic. Favorite FNaF game. Unfortunately on the mobile port, (or Android at least) there is a slight but noticeable delay. This includes turning on the flashlight, closing doors, and movement in general. For nights 1-7 this isn't an issue, but on night 8, (or 20/20/20/20 mode) Nightmare is super buffed and even the slightest slowdown can lead to a death, making it basically impossible. If there was an option to lower the graphics maybe that would fix it...
I love this game and the way it works with ominous audio cues, but there is a problem with the turning to doors and closing doors. When I hold down immediately on the close door button side, sometimes (mostly on Bonnie's side) the door doesn't close sometimes and this is a huge problem with the challenges, specifically all nightmare mode. And the turning to Bonnie's door also has a delay with turning to that door and clicking to run to it. On computer you can turn to both doors instantaneously.
I'm a fan of the whole fnaf series! I want to defeat Nfredbear. Problem is i don't hear his footsteps sometimes. Only his laughter. I don't know how to track fredbear alot. My only problem is when's he's in the hallways Also when I close the door on him, he still kills me! I try to be quick as possible but no. I want of all the animatronics to have louder footsteps so I can track them down. I beat 5, 6 and 4/20 on the older version. Besides i don't have the cheats. Please update and fix this bug
Awesome completely awesome it's a great game on mobile and on PC. people who write reviews that's say they can't make it past a certain night we'll keep trying every one is possible and if you can't hear the breathing turn the volume up more. I recommend this game very much for only $2.99 you gotta get it. Very fun! Can be pretty scary tho which is part of the fun!
Amazing game, favourite in the franchise. I love the fact that it also relies on sound, so you're basically forced to play on loud, which is pretty neat in my opinion. However, bit of a nitpick, the UI looks a little stretched out and the gameplay itself can also feel laggy at times. Probably just because I'm on mobile, but still, great game.
This is one of the best games in the series. However there are some bugs and glitches that affect the core gameplay of the game. I'm mainly talking about the delay of closing the door when you go up to the door, which makes 8/20 (7th night) really difficult. Also I have a glitch (on my older device) where chica on night 1 spawns right Infront of the right door and you can't hear breathing so I keep on dying at 2 am on the first night.
I love the game. But whenever I record my gameplay of it, the sounds of freddles and another sound that nightmare/nightmare fredbear makes shows up in the recording. Though I can't hear it when I'm actually playing. In all modes/nights. The sounds in the recording won't stop for the entire night. I've tried everything but it seems this soley has to do with the app itself. My thinking is this is a screen recording prevention by the developers but it isn't included in the notes.
This game is not only my favorite fnaf game, but it is also my favorite horror game aswell. Fnaf 4 leaves you on the edge of your seat the entire playthrough and does not give breaks when it comes to the scares. I loved the aspect of listening for the sounds instead of being in an office. Waiting at the end of the dark hallways, listening for sounds of breathing, was the best and scariest part of the game. One thing I would change about the game would be the chromebook gameplay. It is horrendous.
The best of the original 4 in my opinion. Plays and looks like the PC version. This game practically requires a good set of headphones, and I do mean headphones; most earbuds probably will not cut it as important audio cues will be too quiet to hear. Make sure you disable power saving settings for this game, or you may have degraded performance.
This game introduced me to FNAF...and traumatized me at a young age (IN A GOOD WAY, KAREN). To this day, it is my favorite of the series. It has very creative mechanics, enjoyable gameplay, and a good amount of difficulty. The thrill feels more real than any other FNAF game besides Help Wanted VR. That moment before you open the door and you don't know what's behind it was executed perfectly.
Okay I've played a lot of fnaf 4 on other platforms and got it on a phone for fun, on the current patch 2.0.3, a few things I notice. Nights 1-4 seem easier. Now the true trouble I have is with fredbear/nightmare, since we don't move fast enough on mobile. We have to listen for footsteps, which would be fine if the footsteps were not broken, because sometimes he moves around without making sound, which really makes it hard to track N/FB, so it feels like a luck field at times.
The game is great and really scary like the PC version but the complaint I have is that Bonnie's breathing is very hard to hear and I can't hear it and I've been stuck on night two for weeks, it's as if he doesn't have breathing at all, I just wanted to let others know in case this is happening to them too but otherwise it's a great game
the game is really good it's having good mechanics and but there are so problems first the game is to scary to play for kids it's ok for me but my lil brother friends have that game but can't even beat the first night which is wild since in the first night no animatronic attack me also there are seems to be a problem with nightmare Bonnie I hearing his steps but it's only getting closer and not leaving the door making me to stuck with him and if open the door I will die immediately.
Five nights at Freddy's 4 is a great game, that I consider to be one of the best in the series! I'm not sure wether conserving power is harder then checking 4 places one at a time. Why 4 stars? 1. On night 1, you can sit till basically 5am and you'll be fine, so maybe make night one a bit harder. Also if the sensitivity of moving was tweaked up a bit, it would make mobile playing alot easier, especially on night 6 with nightmare. Other then that it's a great recreation of the pc game!
Not only does this work as a fnaf sequel, but it works as a horror game in general. It doesn't rely on the jumpscares themselves but instead uses the environment and darkness to add to the impending doom. so when the Jumpscare does come, it's amplified. The creepy noises also throw you off and keep you guessing If its an animatronic approaching or part of the background ambiance.
This is a great game! It's very challenging and its what I like! I've been stuck on night 2 for so long I'm just getting jumpstarted for now! All in all it's a great app and I recommend it for anyone over the age of 8 mabey 7. Reason for that I couldn't play minecraft without freaking out about seeing a skeleton when i was at least 5 years old! The first time I say a skeleton I screamed! Dont make that mistake with this game!
