Flashlight App - LumiTorch

Simple, straightforward flashlight app with a few minor bells and whistles like a compass and the ability to set the flashlight to turn on/ off at specific intervals. What ruins it is the price it costs for the full version. "4 USD on sale from 9 USD!" Are you serious?! Who would pay that kind of money for what is being offered by this app. There's not a lot wrong with it, but that doesn't justify the INSANELY high price for such a basic product.

This app sucks. I completely understand the use of advertisements. What I don't understand is having to wait for at least 2 ads to play before the light will even come on. It's not safe. I needed a light quickly one night and it did that to me. I was in a situation that I almost got seriously hurt because of it. Very poorly decided plan there. It is no brighter than just using the phone flashlight anyways. I went back to using the phone light that always comes on immediately when needed.

Looked like a good app with lots of helpful tools. However, every time I opened the app, it first took a couple of seconds to load, then I get a full screen ad and I have to click again to actually get to the flashlight on button. When you need a flashlight, you shouldn't have to either wait and take several steps to get the light or keep the app constantly running.

I purchased the full lifetime and I'm very happy with it so far. The only thing I can say is that when they updated it the home screen widget has to be replaced, no biggie. So they made it turn on when you shake the phone but it's very unreliable and not a good tool so I just use the power shortcut on my home screen. They have the option to choose the flash speed for incoming calls but it doesn't work so when my phone is on silent I don't have any options other than the default.

two minutes...too manipulative to use with paying three dollars a month. only installed because of the ten times needed to bring down the screen on my phone to use the flashlight. bye... less cohesion more convenience.

The ads will kill you. The app is almost completely useless now. Uninstalling.

garbage app. you can't use this without an ad smacking you every 20secs. and this turns off the flashlight.

I only wish the flashlight would come on instantly, like a previous flashlight did. This one takes an extra 2 or 3 seconds to download and then an ad pops up and you have to touch another bar before it comes on. Those extra steps and seconds are a little annoying, when I had one that comes on instantly with one touch.

An unfortunate disappointment, time I can never get back. There is no conceivable use for this in trial mode other than to extract money from frustrated users. I had made the mistake of thinking I could use this while playing music throughout my house ... Spotify was no match for the obnoxious ad video that came in the middle of what I thought was a clever way to add light and a bit of color to the ethereal atmospheric soundscape being woven.

Wow!! Very Bright! Awesome! For those who havent figured out the settings....1 is for steady light no blinking. 2 thru 8 are blinking...starts out as a slow blink at 2 and progresses to faster blinking gradually at each number, 8 being the fastest. And SOS for a no brainer which helps everyone just in case you cant figure out the other 8 settings.

FIND ANOTHER ONE :( Ads are OBNOXIOUS! You must view an ad BEFORE the light comes on. Sometimes they have LOUD sound unexpectedly, so if you're trying to be QUIET, you can't. You can pay $2.99 for no ads, but the light ISN'T GREAT. It's VERY "touchy", & will start flashing! WHO uses THAT? If all THIS isn't enough, in response to MANY 1 star ratings the developer's "team" wrote, "leave us a 5* rating so that we'll be motivated" to do better. WOW.... REALLY!?!? Yeah, I'm SURE that will help LOL!!!

If it was always instantly on then I'd rate it a 5, but turning it on and there's a TikTok commercial is not satisfying. Will probably uninstall and get another app. Un-installed. Takes forever to actually be able to use the light with waiting for ads to end. When you need a flashlight it is a now kinda thing.

Probably the biggest wad of garbage you could download from Google Play. Having ads in a flashlight app with a loading screen is by far ridiculous. Also, why do these even exist when you can turn your flash on with any phones control center. Straight up stupid. I was just hoping this would have a dimming option, but I got something far worse than that. Again, garbage.

I bought the "VIP, remove ads" option solely for the widget. But the widget doesn't work properly and to make it work, I have to remive it then open the app and add the widget again, which makes the widget useless since I have to open the app anyways. I tried contacting the developer multiple times and Google won't do anything about it so I'm just out $4.49 apparently and I'm supposed to be satisfied with that. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Too many ads within a minute of usage. The app Activates your flashlight and that's it... The reason I downloaded was to increase the brightness off my phone's flash. The control menu goes from regular flash to constantly blinking flash at same intensity when increased to max. A useless compass, a flash button which I have on my phone, and a zoom feature which I'm sure you can get a better one in an app meant for it. You need premium for adding homescreen icon for quick access... Ridiculous.

I'm going to end up uninstalling for a few reasons. 1) The amount of time it takes to load is pathetic. 2) The recent update makes it to where when I click to go out of the app it takes me to a link instead of the main page on my phone like it used to. 3) Again, the loading time. So annoying.

Worst ever. It's far too touchy it turns off the slight nudge and then you have to watch another add just turn it back on. The SOS feature is also often turned on by mistake when trying to use it sending you into a seizing fit. Why can't we just have a free flashlight without ads why does making my camera's flash stay on require me to watch so many adds?

A very handy app that includes a compass and the ability to use as a magnifier. The flashlight can be set to stay on steady or to blink at different speeds, including SOS. The screen light can also be activated with adjustable brightness and color. This app is well worth downloading.

Usually, when you need a flashlight, you need it right away. This app takes 6-9 seconds to load, then you have to dismiss an advertisement before you can actually have light. And, that is when you are not connected to WiFi or data. It's worse, if you are. SO...I'm uninstalling

This app used to be 5 stars for me and had it for a few years with no issues. With the recent update, they've made automatic on a premium forcing you to purchase that if you want a flashlight that doesn't turn off every 10-20 seconds due to ads. Deleting this and going to find another flashlight app. What a shame.
