If you have to cancel for any reason they'll give you a non refundable voucher that's only redeemable within their company instead of a refund. The Prices are arbitrary, and they rush you to purchase a ticket with a 10 minute timer to get you to buy a ticket as soon as possible. There's hidden fees So think before you jump on that 14 dollar ticket. IMO You're better off paying a bit more with another company.

App is clumsy and incomplete. 1. Company has multiple service departure/arrival locations, but app will not tell you where they are by address without going thru ticket purchase process. Even then you have to dig through for details. Leaving customer to delete unnecessary ticket. 2. No apparent way to track bus location/progress/travel issues, so that you can gauge time to pick up your party. GPS is to strong and narrow. Once I set up an account, it would not let me see other locations easily.

App no longer allows me to log in. Just says "you do not have access to this page.". The login info is correct as I can log in on the website. Since the average price of a ticket is actually 20-25USD (NOT 5!) The app was the convenient feature that kept me coming back. But no more! My review continues to get deleted. Don't worry, I'll just keep reposting it :)

Absolutely disaster experience. Let's count together: Arrivals don't match the station posters, delays are inaccurate, if you had bought a ticket you cannot change it to a delayed bus that arrived at the time of the second one (!!!) You then buy a second ticket, because you cannot get a refund, and when you want to track your trip, it only has the option for the first (now worthless ticket). And finally when I find a way in the app to track the ride, it instead opens photos of Google maps.

Tedious and tricky. In order to change a seat assignment you have to cancel and rebook. But if you rebook within 30 minutes you are charged a cancel fee. It also did not allow me to use the same credit card for 2 different bookings. I cleared cache, used multiple browsers and spent way too long booking a bus reservation. This was all on the laptop. When I downloaded the app I was able to submit payment. I noticed that there is no accept terms of payment on the website and probably the issue.

Information is poorly organized, it's difficult to find information about pick up and drop off locations without booking a ticket first. The claim system for items left on a bus takes 3 weeks to get a response which by that time there is no chance in locating the item. I have canceled tickets far in advance and have not received the specified refund nor can I get a hold of someone by phone to remedy. The cancel/rebook option on the app does not give any sort of confirmation. App/company is wack!

It's great and cheap... unless you're having payment issues. Prices close to the departure time go up to $42!!! For no reason other than to take advantage of people in sticky situations. Not to mention the bus was at maybe 40% capacity. I almost got stranded out of town because I couldnt a afford the extortionate prices. I was really disappointed after using it a few times already. Not gonna be using this anymore simply due to this unethical behavior.

App is unresponsive. Just like the company. Customer service is pretty much non existant when it comes to figuring out information about my booking. I paid for my ticket and now when I went to look up my ticket it said I no booking. Even though my credit card and email confirmation says other wise. I tried to get through with the contact us page and all I got a generic message reply. Just beware of traveling with this company. It's cheap travel but no help at all.

App defaults to 12 adults and 14 children when I try to look up trips. It is just so annoying having to clear faulty info. Also, it would be nice if the app offered a way to check on arrivals. Your bus stop location is not transit friendly, is poorly lighted, and lacks on street parkin making it difficult when a bus arrives at night. It would be great if the app showed current status for people who need to know if a bus is on-time.

When your ride gets cancelled by their fault, the booking won't be updated in the app. There are no explanations why the trip was camcelled. If you plan to change for another schedule, It will require you to pay a cancellation fee (even though it's theri fault) causing you to rebook for a more expensive ticket plus the cancellation fee they charge you. To avoid the fee you have to call their assistance hotline and either refund or rebook the trip (with no additional fee).

The app doesn't show you where the bus is which can be frustrating when it's running late. There are text alerts but I didn't get anything telling me my bus was an hour late. The service is great I just wish communication and app notifications were better for routes to ease with the stress of travel. That way I'm not standing on the street for 2 hours.

Multiple times I have gone to book on the app and my partner has looked online at pricing. We have noticed a significant difference in how much they charge on the app versus on a webpage. I would assume it would be cheaper through the app if anything but it was not. This seems pretty shady. I have had great experiences with flixbus years ago so I'm unsure what has happened recently.

I can see available routes and ticket prices, but for some reason the app doesn't go beyond the human verification. I had to reserve tickets from my laptop. I let the app tech folks know and other than pointing to the Q&A (for which none of the items seemed to address my issue) I've heard nothing back. The online laptop interface worked flawlessly. I'm looking forward to my trip.

The app itself is fine, they have an awful cancelation policy though. Wouldn't suggest it if you are one who is often subject to last minute changes. Even changing the date of your trip may cost you anywhere from $5-20. They don't do refunds at all only credit toward another ride even if you won't be able to actually use it. Overall, cheap and fine if your plans are 100% set in stone.

App worked smoothly until it came time to pay. Declined both of my credit cards which have worked fine for everything else. Then when I tried to pay with PayPal through the app, I received no indication that I purchased tickets (no email or even listing under "tickets") despite both PayPal and my credit card company registering the sale. I will now have to call FlixBus and request a refund. You'd think such a big company would allow users to pay seamlessly with a basic credit card.

App is easy and quick to use and search for your destination. Just make sure you show up to bus before the departure time. Bus door closes exactly at departure time and they won't open them, even if they haven't departed yet. Also, if you pay extra for a reserved seat, it doesn't guarantee you a reserved seat. Paid 65.00 instead of 19.99 and had seat assignment and it didn't matter. They won't refund the difference either

The app is OK, but when you complete payment a screen pops up with the message "Reservation Expired. The tickets have been removed from the cart. Search again." This is confusing because it sounds as if the transaction didn't complete. They should just say "Thank you for your purchase. Please check your email to download your ticket(s)" or something like that. So, I went through the process a second time and I got billed again. Having a devil of a time undiong this mess.

This app used to be okay but recently Flixbus seems to be having major problems with processing payments, making it impossible to purchase any tickets via the app or website. Over the past months, the few times I've tried to purchase tickets on the app I either receive the "We had to refuse the payment with your provided data..." error or a generic api error specifically with PayPal. Please fix this, you are losing customers like me.

Spent more than 2 hours. You wouldn't accept my 3 credit cards. You raised the price by 9 euros. Then you accepted 4th credit card. Very bad web site. When changed card, you would not let me change validity date. Lept kicking me out or forcing me to cancel because you would not let me change wrong information. Disgusted!;n

I've been using this app for a few years now with no issues. However, recently, they straight up cancelled my reservation without an email and kept the payment. I had a place rented at my destination so I was forced to pay more and arrive much later due to this. Rather disappointed they don't even bother to reach out to you.
