I had no issues before, and now, I'm getting a "Sorry, we can't Float you, yet" message. Literally, nothing about my account has changed. Nothing paid late. Just arbitrary rejection. Edit: 7 weeks later and still getting the same message. Contacting customer support was a complete waste of time. (Absolutely skip this app. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I reactivated my account with my new bank information and got the same message.)

I signed up and was charged the membership fee. I tried to make my first withdrawal of $20, which is the max you are allowed starting out. I kept getting denied, and customer support said it's because of data points and stuff that the system determines your eligibility. Still can not withdraw any amount, but they didn't have any issue withdrawaling my membership fee so I'm paying for a service I can't use.

I'm still be charged for a monthly membership that I canceled-30 minutes into a 3 day free trial-because the app was unavailable for me. I couldn't tell you what features this app has or doesn't. Or if the Float feature even exists. All the page were extremely blurred, couldn't see anything which was why I canceled so early into the free trial. That was last year. My bank account is STILL BEING CHARGED for the monthly membership that I had canceled. And app/features are still unable to access.

Could be better, could be significantly worse Update 2026: I actually enjoy FloatMe. I've been using them for, like, 2-3 years now and they've always been patient and continue to float me even when I've been late paying them back. It's taken this long to be ALMOST eligible for $100 floats but getting to $50 was relatively quick, from what I recall. All in all, of all the small loan/pay advance apps, this is the one I've stuck with.

DONT DOWNLOAD... I have been a member since 2023 and I pay my membership fees every month. I also have had a job with consistent pay every Friday at the same time for the past like 2 and 1/2 years. I repaid my payment on time and they denied me afloat because of potential overdrafts on my account well isn't that the purpose of a cash advance is so you can cover something so you don't get an overdraft. so don't download this because when you need them the most they will deny you.

Literally was a member since November paid the membership when due and even paid early when needed some money. Went to try and get a "float" for $40 and would NOT let me get any amount whatsoever even when I get direct deposits and have positive account balance in my checking account. Then it tells me if I want to keep my "current benefits" which included the $40 limit before my membership expires to resubscribe again but when I go back to home menu it shows the contrary. That'll reset to $20???

was great until after the first time I had to pay them got locked out of my account and couldn't resubmit for 3 days, due ti lack of customer service. But after the first time and 3 days down I figured it would be good but instead dealt with it 3 more time with info I had no idea where it came from. So the last time I made a fuss we got me another account started just so I had to pay an additional fee and have my advance lowered by half. So if you need money now I wouldn't suggest.

One of the "FloatMe" requirements are silly. I was floated $50 one time for gas. I repayed it 3 days later. The following week I tried to get it one more time to help with groceries. It never allowed me an advance again. The requirements say moving large amounts of cash out on or the day after payday could get you denied. IT WAS THE 1ST OF THE MONTH. The large amount was rent! That requirement is dumb because if we didn't HAVE to move large amounts out, called bills, we wouldn't need the app!

Good app if you are slightly in a bind. Only offers $20. (Update) I have been using this app for a few years now and I must say with all the other updates the other companies do, this one has remained a constant. The borrow amount has even gone up based on the amount of floats you have taken. I will say, this tier program is really working. I sincerely have never had a problem getting a float. Keep up the great work guys

Low amounts. No rewards for paying back on time. I make $85,000/yr and they approved me for $20. Took a float 2x just to try to build my credit with them. offered me $30 for the third amount after two months and they won't even approve it. $5/month fee plus $3 transfer fee turns that original $20 into borrowing $12. Don't waste your time with this app. Hold these companies accountable to do what they actually say they do.

Signed up a month ago and was given $20 first advance. Paid it back early, and now out of curiosity wanted to see if the advance amount would increase. Says I am not eligible for cash advance even though I have over $1300 in checking and $2500 in savings. This is just a cash grab for $4.99 monthly subscription fee. Canceled account leaving my review.

This app is an absolute scam and a violation of the fair credit reporting act. they take much of your personal information, and then offer no services and most of the time, after they can successfully save private information, the app suddenly experiences "unexpected error." every time. I suspect they're stealing information and selling it to 3rd parties.

I clearly selected checks that get deposited every week into my bank account which they have access to and get an email stating "Can't verify income" This app is a joke. Also, I shouldn't have to type out a lengthy message as to why I want to cancel my subscription or "contact" them which can take up to 48 hours. It's very misleading when searching in the app how to cancel the subscription to just "click" the cancel button at the bottom but that leads you only to being forced to contact them.

I'm not going to pay a subscription fee just to find out I'm not eligible. Maybe you should let members know before they waste the money. update: finally got the app to work, but this is the worst cash advance app there is. they take you subscription fee, and constantly tell you they can't give you an advance. I've used other ones before and never had a problem getting an advance. This app seems more like a scam to get fees while never providing you with anything.

I've been using this app for roughly 6 months I make about $900 a week after taxes have never been late repaying my advance and I'm still only up to $50. thank God they're membership fee is only five bucks a month because otherwise I would have canceled it a while ago. another thing I do not like is even if you pay back your advance early you technically have to wait until your pay date to pull out the advance when all other apps don't make you do that.

they charge you a lot up front, 10%+ for an advance of like $30...and also charge you a membership fee that you cannot avoid. if you don't cancel it within the first "period", you're forced to be a member another month. there membership fees, advance fees and hidden fees are literally more expensive than payday loans. they will destroy you if you're not careful. I just did this to see what would happen. Im paying $54 for a $30 advance within a week...it's robbery. just budget better.

Trash app takes a membership fee says you will be eligible for up to $50 then says $20 and then DENIES you after tricking you into a membership fee just to try to get you to sign up for offers. I do not recommend if you are short on cash and need an advance in the first place why would you want to pay membership fee to not get an advance. They collect your money for every one person this works for they are just collecting membership fees from a dozen others.

Don't download. I wanted an advance and couldn't get it so I cancelled the membership, which was set to charge me on 10/24. Today, 10/30, they attempted to charge me anyway. Good thing my card was locked. I hadn't confirmed my email or anything and the app states membership will be cancelled 10/24 when I open it, but THEY STILL ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE ME! Don't download it. Today, 11/8/25, I respond to the offer to look into the issue. There is nothing to look into. My membership was cancelled.

You have to pay a non refundable fee before seeing if you're eligible for cash advances. After paying, the system 'Ollie' , could not find my direct deposits. I took a screen shot from my acct in the app to show my deposit. For some reason it shows as a transfer in the app. However through my bank statement it shows as my paycheck.

I dont know how many months Ive been paying them, but I had a subscription and sometimes my payment may not have gone through but at least twice it has and maybe up to 4 times of 5 bucks and I cant request a lousy $10 that I have to pay back. I never once got a "float". I tried contacting customer service and they did not bother to respond. Maybe my bad credit disqualifies me but then you should not take my money. I want my money back!
