FOX 29 Philadelphia: Weather

Never had a weather app that changes there forcast as much as Fox 29. Constantly changing it where it makes it very unreliable. I don't know who updates this app but jeez man when you go from 100% chance of rain to 30% chance to no rain at all that's ridiculous. Your uncertainty on weather forecasting needs a lot of work. Going to Weather Bug or Accu Weather, at least their forecasts are reliable and dependable.

app still sucks. "new" 24 future radar moves way too fast. still will say it's overcast when the sun has been shining. don't depend on it for making outdoor plans.

I agree with other reviews - it was working fine until recently. It won't access my location, but luckily I added my home address to my locations so I am always get it. The past two days, the app told me there was an update, but when I try to get the update it doesn't do anything! It says it was updated on August 23,but I don't know if that's the most recent update or not.

This app reads like they have one random guy staring at the radar using it to guess the rain percentages. Every time there's a storm nearby the percentages for a single hour go from 15% to 90% and then the storm breaks up before it gets here and it drops back down to 15%. It really seems like they don't use any actual technology to gauge the weather.

This radar is wrong !! It currently shows there was no rain in my area when it is raining!! when I look at the radar apps from other TV stations it shows it's going to rain for several more hours. This is not the first time this raider has been wrong. I also have this app on my iPhone and it is wrong there also.

I came back to this after trying some other apps. Best features are (1) it uses Weather Channel feed (most accurate in my area according to forecast advisor) with a cleaner UI than the weather channel app, (2) the 5x5 widget with embedded map for imminent precipitation, (3) interactive map with helpful layers, and (4) Fox 29 weather updates for context. My requests: easier to read icons, perhaps with color and larger text in the 5x5 widget.

I don't know who runs this app but they must be new at this weather thing. One day you see showers for days then you get some rain and suddenly the next few days of rain are no longer in the forecast. This has been happening quite often. It's hard to plan your day / days when the forecast is SO far off.

It was better before the change. 90% of the time it pulls up a black screen, or it freezes on the main screen. Sometimes restarting my phone works, usually not though. Highly disappointing.

It's 98% accurate with what the weather is going to be like. I can make plans around the weather with this app and be able to concentrate on what I'm doing and not worry about sudden different reports. It pretty much has everything I need from a weather report.

Good temperature readings. Good radar map with past & future choices. But, hard to read the temperature's white font against the skylight of Philly. Almost invisible. Only 2 b&w widgets with no transparency settings.

i like the old version better, hard to read the white data when the screen photo they give is lite colored. i prefer the old version! 1 star now. i will be deleting and installing another local news weather provider.

works fine for me, even after update. I've had it installed for years. It's hard to find an app that keeps you happy for that long. i noticed they removed the tab to read news but their news display was not user friendly. i use 6abc instead, best philly news app

I have notifications turned on in the app and in my phone settings, but I never get weather alerts. Otherwise it seems to have pretty good info.

Don't even waste your time. Even if the app functioned fox 29 never ever gets the forecast right. Like today they said zero percent chance of rain, well it is down pouring out. Thanks for costing me $10000 today in damages.

I loved this app with its follow me feature, until that follow me feature started glitches and now I can't access it. It is very disappointing as I found this to be the most accurate weather app out there with that feature.

this WAS the best weather app. not it sucks. after the update about 2 weeks ago i can ONLY see the weather got the day. I'm uninstalling it, sad because i ONLY watch Fox news..

Features are great. Used for years but real time radar is not accurate.

I installed the app but after two attempts to try to use it I uninstalled it because it kept freezing please fix it

Don't understand why you change the notifications on bar, doesn't show temp. Just a cloud ☁️ 🤦‍♀️

It hasn't worked since the last update. It still shows the weather for 2 days ago
