FOX31 & KWGN

I love fox 31 news and the crew. they have been my go to station since I moved to Colorado. the app was great in the beginning, then turned into having a lot of bugs. stated had an update but when updated it wouldn't let you on. so, I figured out an easy, but annoying way round this, uninstall the app and then re-install. it works great again!

Instead of turning off all notifications in the settings, I got notifications anyway. Which tells me that it is running in the background using battery and data. I would prefer to check the app when and where I want. Also it crashes lately...I get a notification of a news item, click on it, the app opens and it crashes or hangs and I have to force a close.

This app used to be decent. I have had it installed for years. Now it constantly crashes. This has gone on for months. I waited, thinking they would fix it, but it doesn't look promising now. Edit: Still constant crashes, and more ads than news. The news stories are listed with the same ones repeated when you scroll through. Getting ready to look elsewhere. They don't fix it and don't respond to feedback sent.

Ready to uninstal! Very little news. Clicked on notification for snow totals, but website was bogged down loading too much other BS and never got what I was looking for!!

I have been a fan of your newscast since moving to Denver in 2011 but in my opinion, you have completely ruined your app. You went from an easy to navigate, informational experience to an app that has way too many adds and not very organized. There are so many adds now that you can barely scroll and read any of the news articles. Seriously need to simplify the app. Horrible.

Update 07/25.... the app is still crashing after you open a topic. not sure why it keeps on crashing i have done all the updates and re installed and same outcome. im just going to stop hoping for this to get fixed. apps with this much ads should work better 2022---The app crashes too much. Not sure if is due to the adds but the app is not the greatest. I have removed it and re installed but nothing changes. The app needs an entire overhaul with new coding in order to not crash as much.

Terrible app. Not worth the time, unless of course you like ads, because that's all it does. Every time you switch screens a new ad pops up. One half of the screen is covered by ads all the time. Very disappointed. Also, The content is dated and not current.

I'm being forced to update the app which is fine but it won't let me. update :several days later and still unable to correct. instead of there being an update icon there's only an open and remove update: had to remove and reload. we'll see what happens

App closes out News stories randomly and when you want to read a full news story or after selecting "read more" option page never loads. Lately the who app closes out, very frustrating. I'm finding myself using app less because of ongoing issues. I'm about to just delete the app and find another local news source. Something more reliable.

I have tried this app and watching online and beyond frustrated. the news volume is low, then the commercials are extremely loud. also two commercials often play at one time so there is that. Same with online, I can't watch them live online for fear of waking up the whole house. I have emailed their techs multiple times and not one reply. They obviously don't care. I love how I get push alerts, yet when I click on them for more info, they don't work. So over Fox31

Annoying message everytime opening the app about checking your settings. Also the share button does nothing anymore. You can press it and then try to share via text or email, but nothing will populate. It used to work. But you can read the news. Update June 4 2020....Just updated. Still have to dismiss the nonsense message every time. And I think the ads are larger. No improvements.

It's literally like you don't want people to use the app, 5 seconds of news then 8 minutes of commercials, no native casting option so I have to mirror, unable to open the app without an update, but no update on the app store page. Weekend viewing is nothing but a replay of the 6 am hour even at 9am, and switching to the channel 2 feed does nothing.

News app just freezes as soon as the app opens. Can't close the app either. The fox weather app is having issues also, keeps saying it can't find my location, repeatedly. Really getting tired of all these apps that just decide they don't want to work correctly. I mean if you can't keep them working right, why have them at all?

Not great. Click on notification and app freezes on start page half the time. No live streaming anymore?!?!?! Only get pre recorded stuff now. Live is what we wanted it for. Emailed support from play store link, bounced back undeliverable. Liked the live stream better than 9 news while it worked!

Decent app, however the notifications are ridiculously annoying! With the excepting of breaking news, I have all notifications off (INCLUDING WEATHER)... Yet somehow I get a dozen notifications every day for WEATHER! I guess I just have to block all notifications from these people. Also, it asks me to update notifications EVERY TIME I open the app!

Unfortunately, the weather notifications are not remotely reliable. I get alerts for rain when there's no storm near us. If I open the app and look at the radar, nothing comes near us for hours. All weather related notifications are now off. I'll depend on more reliable weather apps.

I have been using this app for years, and with every update it gets worse and worse. Having a message pop up every time the app is open reminding me to check my notification settings is beyond annoying. Even more annoying is have to click "Continue Reading" for just about every article. Then have the screen jump to about the middle of the article. Time to move on to 9News app.

When I first installed the app it worked fine. And for the next couple months after. Then it updated. I'm so sad to report nonstop crashing while trying to use it now. Sometimes as soon as I open the program, it crashes even. This was easily a 5 star app. Please fix! Thanks.

Only partially works. But, better than nothing. Update: 6/5/2020 This app has a notification every. Single. Time. You open it and it is annoying to say the least. No way to get rid of it. Multiple headlines are repeated. The share button does not work. You cannot watch any of the videos. Also, even after not using the app for several days there is an error message that keeps coming up "app not responding" I cannot get it to stop unless I uninstall the app. Super annoying!

App now says to update app and I click the button to update takes me to the app store and there is zero update available. It then tells me to leave a review so I'm leaving this 1 star review for how awful this app is none stop. It rarely works right and u have to exit the add every single time you check it out. And on top of that it never matches the weather on their pinpoint weather app. It's ALWAYS so far apart for weather it's ridiculous.
