Update is horrible, a lot of the times when I click an article the app will say it needs an update but when I go to the app store it says it's already updated but also sometimes it pops up. Sometimes when I click an article it'll for some reason bring up a different article. If you read the latest reviews for this you can see I am not the only one who has the update problem. When I click an article it won't let me..it's tinted over and I can't click anything... So its not working properly..

App is saying it needs to be updated when you open it. So when you press update, it takes you to the app in the Google play store. In store you are prompted to open app, there is no prompt to update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I am able to see news articles after hitting open in GP store. However, same situation with need to update occurs when I leave app and then try to open it. I have restarted the phone. Same thing happened. Convinced something is going on with app. 12/26/22

Get a message saying "update required" and the link takes me to Google Play. However, there is NO UPDATE OPTION. I had to delete the app and reinstall. This seems to happen almost yearly. You either need new app developers or they need to put a message there saying to uninstall and reinstall. I use the app for local news and weather, but if this happens again, I'll permanently delete it.

can't even download the plus app can't watch live news this app doesn't do what it needs to do and the plus not even a option on no platform so where can I download the plus at to watch live news?

This app used to be very good until a few days ago. Now the app is telling me I need to update, but when I go to update I have to submit a review..... crazy. Will see if this works; if not, I will have no choice but to delete the app and get a different news app. UPDATE....the app will not let me update even after submitting a review. Something is terribly wrong. Will uninstall.

App was great for a while, now it takes forever to load. If it does load, the stories are there but the pics aren't. Also constant duplicate stories, some that stay on the board for weeks. Not sure what has happened over the past few months but this app is going in the wrong direction. I am editing the review to add that while reading a story the words will just disappear after a few seconds of reading. The page refreshes but the words don't come back. Nothing has changed since the first review

App was decent long ago, but with sharing problems. Now the app reloads itself constantly. You'll be in the middle of reading an article, perhaps you've looked away for a minute or two, only to have the app "automatically" redirect you back to the main feed. After which you are forced to go hunting for your article again if you want to finish it. Why do they put these kinds of irritating "features" into an app? To artificially raise numbers? Tempted to delete the app again. Perhaps I will.

Can't use unless you uninstall and reinstall due to it starting update required...needless to say there is no update available and once you reinstall you can open app 1 time and then it does the same thing. This used to be my #1 stop for local news and weather but lately there are still the same old stories for over a week at a time with nothing being updated in the news feed at all over the weekends...news doesn't only happen Monday thru Friday

Can't watch any videos. Goes through the ad then starts another ad, will repeatedly do this and not show the actual article video. You can hear it in the back ground through all the ads playing over it. VERY frustrating when you cannot watch the corresponding video. Please fix this issue immediately.

This app doesn't always start. Sometimes it starts and as your listening to a story an ad pops up interrupting it. Its not a good app. It hardly ever works correctly. Dont try it. You cant share from it, stream from it. The only things that do work are the commercials.

It WAS a great app for a long time. Now it's awful. No matter how many times I save my notification settings it won't send me any until I manually open the app then it won't send me anything once I close the app. It began to run very slow. Now it won't even open. Did they stop maintenance on the app?? This was my favorite news app. Now it's not worth the download. I guess I'll just use the WFMY app and the WXII app. Those work great and send me all the notifications.

This was a great app. It moved easily on to the SD Card on my phone and kept me up to date on local news, weather and sports. Now it no longer transfers to my SD Card, hogs the little space I have with videos I don't want and floods the news with video ads. Can't recommend it anymore.

When I go to open the app, I get a pop-up that says the app needs to be updated. So, I clicked update. There is no update, and then asks to submit a review. Here you go!!! Fix your issue, and I'll fix the rating!! and it is doing it again 10/28/25!!!

The app has been updated with a whole new look. I hate it. It's more reliable to open the story that the notification shows but he way the ads display is maddening! You have the option of viewing the story or reading it. If you choose to read, as you scroll down, the video keeps opening over the text. It should stay closed once you close it. I've had to re-close up to 8 times. Most of the time it's the news story but it's preceded by an ad. The app is easy to use but I hate the way it works now.

I have been using this app for around 4-5 years without a problem, but now, after the last update the (view more) tab no longer works, it's there but don't work, also when trying to read an article it jumps up and down you can't keep your eyes on it, the text is much larger and can't zoom in to make it smaller, the whole thing just really frustrating, I gave it a one star because you have to so you can leave a review

Stop with the reminders every time to turn on alerts! I don't want alerts and have to spend time just turning off your reminders each time when I start the app. Will be deleting this app if it isn't corrected soon. Too many non breaking and foolish alerts constantly. Too many ads just to view a story.

This app does not work at all anymore. Since the last update to my Samsung Galaxy 9S+ it crashes & is completely useless. So sad 12/26/2022 Fox8 will always be my favorite local news station, but this app is still garbage. I keep getting a notification that I need to update the app, and despite doing so, it still won't open.

App keeps crashing.

keeps crashing, wont open. update: I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, still crashing after opening, so guess I am just deleting the app, maybe be back if ever fixed, goodbye reinstalled 7/5/2019 still not working, crashes when trying to open update, installed again on 8/3/2019 still a crashing piece of trash, nobody bothers fixing anything, don't waste your time
