Free VPN Proxy by Planet VPN

The app just does not work for me. I understand the free version isn't as good as the paid version but I can't even connect to the VPN. Whenever I try to, it gives me an error message about my Internet connection, which is at full bars. And now, when I try to open the app, it says connecting but doesn't allow me to change what location it's connected to nor can I click cancel.

I posted how bad this app gets after a few uses. And my mind has not changed. Even after suggestions from the developer. It does not stay connected. You can do all you want in the settings. You can uninstall all day. It is not reliable at all. Not buying any of these posts giving it full stars. I don't subscribe, I use the free version so maybe that's why it worked well for the first week only. Maybe they do this purposely to get you to go premium. All I know is this app is a total fail.

VERY SLOW to connect with free version, but seems to work well. Only gives you 6 hrs at a time, so you need to reconnect EVERY TIME you use it. That being said, it works very well for me - much better than A**** that I had paid for! Overall, I'm pleased with it. Of course, one really can't complain when receiving something for nothing! That's called 'entitlement'! Beware of the ads: Don't sign up accidentally for something that you don't want to pay an arm & a leg for!

This app has been giving a very hard time lately. It used to be great can switch places any time. Aside from the ads. Now I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall the app every single time I want to use it. It barely even connects to anything now. Sometimes I have to do that a few times before it connects once and then if I disconnect and try to reconnect later on, it freezes and doesn't connect or cancel and I have to unistall and reinstall again. It's never given me these issues.

This app is very easy to use, just that almost everything is behind a little paywall (Premium) and you only get about 5 or 8 countries to connect to, including the limit of time of connection, and that is barely a sleep cycle for me or even less. That is why it lost that extra star, but it is still manageable and can be done easily. It just needs more countries to connect to.

A little slow and clunky as compared to Express or Nord, but it gets the job done. Not as many options on the free version as with other pay to use options (as expected). But it gets the job done and the ads are not overwhelming. Overall recommend if you're looking for a free option and don't need to connect to a specific region.

I'm not even gonna lie, i use this to access "video" sites that aren't available in my location and it works GREAT! i love this Vpn. It's free, simple, and for quick/basic uses like mine it works reliably and it doesn't slow anything down. My only issue is you can't do picture-in-picture with YouTube while the VPN is turned on. I'm unsure if that's the app's fault, though, it may just be a VPN thing. I am not techy myself and this is still super operable for me. Great app! Much love.

I'm new to the app so my review could change, but so far for a free VPN service this app is truly remarkable. I live in the U.S and I connect to the Netherlands free of charge. I really don't see hardly any ads and it always runs smooth, you just have to reconnect every 6hrs or so. most VPNs that offer a free version usually want your credit card number and really aren't free. this app offers a reliable , quick, and easy VPN.

Didn't work for me. I tried on my fire tablet and phone, and couldn't connect to All4 or BBC iPlayer. I like that there were no ads and it was simple and intuitive to use, but it won't let me access any UK content despite being connected. The other thing is that the IP never changes, which I find puzzling. There's no server locations listed, so I guess they only have one server per country?🤷‍♀️ Would have been great to be able to use it. Guess I'll keep looking.

This app is an absolute God send!!! No other apps compare to the service this one provides-and for free! You will not be disappointed. I've referred this to several friends, & they too found it to be most helpful. I couldn't recommend it more. It's helped me work past my firewall issues & I've been able to easily get into websites I couldn't before-ones I needed to access very badly. It's super easy to use. No navigation to have to learn or work around. It's design is smooth & simple. It's great

Gotta watch 3 ads every time you want to use this thing, even just for 5 minutes. You're going a little ad-crazy again, PlanetVPN. Cut it back some. Edit after developer reply: So your "advertising network" chooses when to call for an ad? No. That's passing the buck. When I open the app, ad. When I select a server, ad. When it connects, another ad. When I want to disconnect, another ad! The advertising network will choose the ads. YOU choose how many are called.

Great App! I have had this app for a few months now, and the app works as intended. I have had no notable app failures as of yet, and I use it quite frequently to bypass router and network permissions. Also, the ad's are not terrible and do not affect performance whatsoever once active. Note: I have the ad supported version.

This app exceeded my expectations for a free VPN. The interface is clean and very easy to use, even for beginners. Connection is generally stable, and the speed is decent for browsing, streaming, and daily tasks. I really appreciate that it offers free access without forcing ads every second. While the premium version unlocks more features, the free option is still quite useful compared to many other VPNs. Overall, a reliable and trustworthy app that does exactly what it promises.

DO NOT USE since starting to use this VPN every one of my social media accounts have been targeted persistently by hackers. I have lost 2 accounts, 1 OF WHICH WAS FOR BUSINESS! I've had to review all the sign in attempts and contest them. I have been bombarded with emails with one time pass codes, attempts to change emails addresses, passwords. it's a F!!!!! joke. This is the complete opposite of privacy and security! To say I am livid is an understatement.

I bought a subscription specially for the trip to other countries. It logged me out after crossing the border and I couldn't log in back, because the password was not set during registration. I couldn't reset it because site didn't work in this country. I paid twice for the subscription because I couldn't cancel it without logging in. Also even free version couldn't connect me, so it just not working.

Hello! I would like to issue a refund for the purchase of a Premium subscription. The reason is that out of the 3 days since the payment was made, the VPN worked only one day on the subscription payment day. And not only does it not work, but it also does not allow you to log in to your account on the mobile application. I'm entering my username and password correctly.

it's an awful VPN. the service is slow and there are so many disconnections even if you're a paid member. I got a two year subscription but have had many problems with the application in two different countries. the support keeps asking for screenshots and gives useless solutions and they never admit their shortcomings. after getting no results from their so many solutions, when I asked for a partial refund, they refused my request and said it's out of their refund policy. Beware of this service

The worst paid VPN app in the world. The program is full of bugs; it constantly says "wrong password," and when it finally connects, the speed is incredibly slow—no exaggeration. There’s a good chance that free VPN apps are faster than this one. I do not recommend it. Thanks.
