FreeCell Solitaire: Card Games

For more than 5 years I gave this app 5 stars, and today, I'm changing it to 1 star. There are some ads that are a mystery to find a closing button, and therefore, after the ad finishes, I'm wasting time trying to get it to go away. Recently, ads have been interrupting play, and when I go to hit the close button, it will not close even after 30 seconds. It makes me feel this app company hates me, and I don't want to play anymore.

Can't even get thru 1 hand without an ad popping up mid-game that WONT go away!!!! This has suddenly been happening the last few days and is extremely FRUSTRATING!!! I've been playing Mobilityware solitaire games for years with NO issues with ads up until now. The only way this ad goes away is to close out the game completely and start over, but then when you start a new hand it pops up AGAIN!! I'm about to delete the Freecell app it's so FRUSTRATING! This needs to be FIXED!!!😡😡😡

no one likes ads, but this app has one of the worst methods for them. they turn down your volume every time an ad plays. listening to an audiobook or podcast? not anymore you're not, because we turned down the volume but did not stop it playing, so you not only have to reset the volume yourself but you have to go rewind what you're listening to to hear what you missed.

I used to love this version of Free Cell Solitaire, but lately there's been an ad that pops up out of nowhere and won't go away. It reminds me of years ago when as woula window d pop out of websites and try to get you to download a virus. The only way it is to close the app, and sometimes when you restart, the ad comes right back. Devs need to correct this or you're going to lose a lot of users.

disappointed with this version. I had an early build of this game by mobilityware installed on my very old kindle fire. So many many hours were spent playing it. Years. I would never give up on a game. I had a streak of wins spread over several years. Around 40,000 in a row. I closed my Amazon account last year because I disagreed with Bozo's politics and pledged to never shop there again. So the other day I completely shutdown my kindle during the recharge. When I turned it, my game was gone.

I've been using this app for years. It was great at first with minimally annoying ads, got the paid version via Play Pass, and it was great. Then, the devs started trying to snoop more & more of my personal data. During a brief lapse in my Play Pass, the ads crashed my phone which was protected by security software. Now they want my social media accounts to "assure I dont lose any data". I didn't comply and so more problems ensue. AVOID THIS MALWARE DELIVERY APP

Fun game spent way too many hours playing. However comes in handy when i have time to kill. Update I spend more time trying to close the tewu ads then playing the game. I have to delete this app. it is to frustrating I will watch an ad but when I click the x I expect it to be done. nope it keeps going and going. like the energizer bunny with the sh#tz

This used to be my favorite game. It was relaxing. I haven't played it much for the last year or more. I've even un-installed it a time or two. It's the ads! So many ads, one right after another, after every single game. And when I try to exit out of the ad it won't let me or another ad pops up, and then another, and then it takes me to play store to install the fn ad that I've already got. Instead of being a relaxing game, it turns into a war with ADS and the fn migraines starts. UNINSTALLING!

The ads make it nearly impossible to enjoy this game. Several screens to dismiss just to get to the menu, then to be deluged with many more, often opening other apps (Pandora, or Google Play). No option to 'Purchase' game, only option to rent the game for a monthly or annual fee! Sorry, I DON'T do subscriptions. Other than the obstacle course to navigate around the ads, and the inability to purchase the game, I would give it 4-5 stars, but as-is 1-2 stars!

I used to love this game. so much so I paid to remove ads. Then the latest update came... Ads are back and I HAVE TO PAY A SUBSCRIPTION TO KEEP THE ADS AWAY! Avoid this game as now it's too expensive without ads and way too noisy with them. Like every time you restart a game you've gotta watch an ad. developers reply makes no sense. the game used to accept a I've time payment for lifetime as removal. now it's a recurring fee. that's the problem. my prior payment is like it never happened.

I used this app for years and loved it. Yes, the adds between games are plentiful and annoying but you can get past them if you click carefully. However, when I went to play most recently, I saw that they added an ads banner DURING gameplay 😢 it's totally distracting to me when I try and play. And I'm not crazy about the idea of a recurring fee to play a simple card game without ads, so I uninstalled it. Bummer.

DONT BOTHER! TOO MANY ADS! In addition to ads in between games, there are also ads DURING THE GAMES!!!!!! that cover the screen for around 10 seconds. Often there is another a few seconds later, and sometimes even a third a few seconds after that. This is ABUSE. I will not tolerate it. I am deleting the game. PS The developer will make the point that you can pay to remove the ads. Yes, but it's not worth paying for. I'd be ok-ish with the ads in between the games. But not this. DELETING.

I loved this game but now an ad pops up in the middle of the game covering the entire field. And it lasts a while! The reason this is problematic is I lose my strategy for the game and when the ad finally goes away it's like I'm starting from the beginning and I have to figure out my plan again. Also, I time myself to go as fast as possible and not only does it add several seconds to my time it hugly interupts my stratagy so that slows me down too. So it takes away the fun of trying to go fast

Dropped a little in popularity with me. all of a sudden I'm getting intrusive car ads in the middle of my games and can't get out of it!. Not Cool! Ads are fairly managed and, most of the time, unobtrusive. Its annoying when an ad wont allow you the option of not closing it for a few. Not likely to buy anything with that kind of ad. Most of the time its just a lot of fun.

Game is good but wish they would offer a one-time purchase option to get rid of the ads. All they have currently are monthly and yearly subscriptions. UPDATE: JULY 2025: Game is nearly unplayable now due to ads popping up mid-game which I cannot close. Only way to clear is to close and restart the game. I would pay a one-time fee to play ad-free, unfortunately they do not offer that option. Too bad...the game was really good. Uninstalling and purchasing a different app.

I like this game a lot, but it's only worth playing if your phone is on airplane mode. The ads are relentless. There's an ad at the top of the screen while you play. There's an ad between games. And heaven forbid trying to tap the X to skip it, because if your finger is 1mm too far from said X, whatever the ad it is will exit the game and take you to the app store. I hate it. Also, it would be nice if there was an option to adjust the game's difficulty.

Out of nowhere ads are popping up in the middle of playing and there's so way to return to the game. I've tried waiting to see if the ad just ends, I've tried the back arrow, I've tried even clicking through to see the ad - nothing being me back to the game. I need to exit and then reopen the app only to have it happen 30 seconds later. If this doesn't change soon, I'll be deleting. Can you help? UPDATE: Your response wasn't helpful.

This used to be a really good (5 star) game that I have played for years. There were ads before a game started which never really bothered me. But they have added a pop-up ad that loads on top of the screen and never goes away. To continue the game, you have to kill the game and reload it. It comes up where you left off, and you can make a few more moves before it pops up another ad. This new ad feature added makes the game unenjoyable.

Played every day, doing the daily, then the puzzles. then about 2 weeks ago started getting advertisements in the middle of every single game, most times multiple times a game. the X doesn't work, so you're left looking at a black screen with a thumbnail of the advertisement, but there's nothing you can do to get back to your game except close all and reopen your game. today the lock up ad hit me 5 times. I'm done.

It keeps popping up ads that I can't click out of! Something about trucks. It's getting really annoying. Fix this and I'll up my rating to 5 stars. update: ohmymag is one of the ads that pop up in the middle of my game and won't let me click out. update again, still doing this. search engines and intensify are two more that will not allow me to click out. They pop up during a game not after. I've had to restart several times in the past 30 min. Please fix this!
