FreePrints Gifts

I tried this app because they offered a free ornament, which turned out nicely. This month, they're offering a free blanket. I spent more time than I wanted to, designing the blanket, only to find out the offer had expired today, even though the email said it was still valid through today. The shipping cost hardly made it worth it, so I cancelled the order altogether.

I’ve tried several services for custom mugs, photo books, and gifts, but this app has become my absolute go-to. It perfectly balances quality, affordability, and flexibility in a way I haven’t found anywhere else. The "Free Prints" Offer is REAL. This wasn’t a gimmick. I was able to order a beautifully printed photo book for just the cost of shipping to test the quality. If you love giving (or making!) personalized gifts, this app is a must-download.

For years, as a loyal customer, I would salvage over the variety of unique and creative photo gifts they offered. Genuinely pleased with the affordability and quality until this year. The prices are far too high for rather plain and drab blocks of material with a photo slapped on. I was disappointed that they cut down on the creativity of their products as well as jumped prices way up. You used to be able to adjust the photos before they went to checkout, but now you can't even do that!

Some of the items to create are not super user friendly. No way to crop, resize an image to fit etc. I spent over 3 hours trying to put together a pillow for my sister. 18 photos and it wouldn't let you simply swap photos to rearrange. You have to start over from scratch. For attempting to create this endearing gift I became quite frustrated and disappointed with the app. Time to start looking at other apps.

The interface is not very good. It can't find my "Favorites" album, so I had to make a new album just for this. Also, when selecting a photo, it "crops" or selects a square, regardless of the shape the final photo will be. Stupid and adds a step as you go back and forth between the preview screen to move the photo. Just make it the shape it's going to come out so you can see what will be cropped out!

Terrible crop tool that simply does not work. You're completely unable to edit or rearrange images that you want placed on your item. I was attempting to buy a hardcover notebook with three images and all three were cut off and unable to be edited to look presentable. Furthermore, the rear of the notebook apparently has to match the front or the images will result in an error message that claims the entire project is corrupt. Waste of time.

Two years in a row I ordered a calendar to give as a Christmas gift. I thought the pictures on the calendar looked great! But while admiring the second calendar I noticed the format of the days of the week was incorrect (starting on Monday, ending on Sunday.) There is nowhere to change this while personalizing. After AI cust support couldn't help with a replacement, I received an email suggesting it was my fault for the error. Just wanting to let potential customers know to look for this before

So a few days ago I recieved an offer for my "free Gift" it was the magnets. They were free I think I paid $1 more for two & shipping. I would Not recommend their magnets. The quality of the pictures aren't that great. If you want Nice size Magnets use the FreePrint app. They are larger and very much more vibrant! I'm giving a 1 star for now. Hopefully if I do purchase in the future it will hold up with what I get using the FreePrints App.

I have had this app for almost a year now and for most part it's great!! the shipping is never really outstanding or anything like that so it's def affordable.. the only big complaint I would have is the items u get for free! they are usually the smaller items on the app to get people to buy the much bigger cool stuff or if u want something bigger u have to pay. (pillows/blankets)so it would be nice to see them change that up at least once a year give away the better items they have to offer!

Terrible customer service. The product quality and prices are fine. But I've had to talk to customer service 5 times this month about 2 different orders. There's no number to call so it's all done through chat. In one instance I was in a chat for 2 hours to clear up an issue I had with a promo. One item never arrived. They issued a replacement, but didn't send an email or tracking number so I don't know if I'll receive the item in time for Christmas. Very disappointed with the service.

I wish I could give a zero! When I placed a photo print order I was given a "special FREE item,". It would not show the blanket as free. Instead it was charging $20 for a baby size blanket plus shipping. When I reached out through the help feature, I was told that there was a technical issue and a team member would reach out to me when the issue was fixed. NOPE they emailed me and ignored everything I said. Said I had to send proof of the offer, even though they mentioned it several times!

Just like others, I had issues trying to redeem my free gift. I was a bit luckier where I was eventually able to check out with my gift. However, the quality was disappointing. I received the free blanket, but two of my pictures were cut off and the color print was missing in some spots. I can overlook the missing print, but to cut off two pictures when the preview of the blanket did not represent this is just upsetting. I tried contacting service, but I have yet to receive a response.

This app is only good for the once a month so-called "free gift", only it's not free at all. You basically pay for the "free gift" when you pay the really high shipping fee they charge you to receive it in the mail. The gifts are pretty cool though and the quality of the stuff you receive is decent. The rest of the items this app has to offer is really pricey in my opinion so I just get the once a month "free gift" that's not really free. I've never had trouble receiving my orders though.

App is pretty user friendly but today when I tried to open it to check the status of an order (my first order) I'm getting a "Network Error" that says "there seems to be a connection difficulty". So I tried to open the original free prints app to check that order and it's working fine, no issues at all. I don't think it's an issue in my end.

I love this App however the shipping charges are outrageous. I'm updating my review based on the response I received from PlanetArt. I don't just take advantage of the "FREE" part. I also purchase other things and I still have to say the shipping charges are outrageous!!! Especially when I can purchase the same items from FREEGIFTS App and the shipping charges are much less expensive. Plus, to top it all off, I purchased the free item for March and was charged for it!! Changing mind about loving

Edit* I just realized what I was doing wrong! Updating my rating! I had to scroll over to the templates. Love the idea of the app. I just lost my one dog so I want to put all of my dogs on the blanket and upgrade the size of it. It's a bummer you can't customize the blanket in the app. I used another photo app but I can't get the dimensions right so it cuts my picture off. I was really hoping to be able to create this blanket. I even have a custom photo that I want added to the array of pictures.

Never provided tracking numbers. Gifts arrive whenever or NOT at all. Customer service is a waste of time because they don't actually care where your order. THANKS "ALEJANDRO" hope you have more than one job!!! I use free prints, photo books, tiles and gifts. They're Customer Service has become the absolute worst over the years! It's time to move on to a company that actually cares about its customers and the products being ordered!

Hi, I downloaded the APP on my Android phone and tried to create a blanket. I tried it several time but it would never let me add the finished product to the shopping cart or complete the order. It kept saying Timed Out. After 5 or 6 tries I just gave up. UPDATE: I reached out to the company, but before I heard back from them, I decided to go back into the site to get some information for them and noticed my item somehow made it into my cart, and I was able to place my order. Thanks.

Update: FreePrints customer service was outstanding! My problem was due to my photos not being the resolution needed for the size that was being printed. I gave 4 stars because the app could have said that the small size prints wouldn't show the detail like was on my screen. I think it is a bad layout for certain items. the first item I ordered, I used one of their layouts, but when I received it I was disappointed. I could not make out some the faces, but on my screen they looked great.

No matter what you order or how big or small it is there is a flat shipping fee of $14.99. That's pretty high compared to what I pay for shipping for other items. Looks like the item isn't really free and that they're recouping their cost via the shipping cost. I figure there had to be a catch. I can get a blanket cheaper on Shutterfly or other apps and not pay so much. FYI.... I cancelled my order and uninstalled the app. No matter what I ordered it was coming up with a $14.99 shipping.
