The app works okay in comparison with the desktop edition. however, when writing an email, the text is so small and I have not been able to find a way to adjust it. also, the swipe left does not have an option to move to a tag like you can drag and drop on the desktop app. this seems like a very simple ad on. The app is mostly functional if all you really want to do is read new emails and again it starts at the top email and you have to scroll clear down to the bottom to find your recent emails

Updating my review to 4 stars. Mobile is still not as great as the desktop app, and it kind of jumps around when I'm trying to reply to an email on my phone (the location of the draft moves on the screen when I go between the draft I'm writing and the original message or related comments so I'm nervous I'm going to accidentally hit send before I'm ready), so I usually only use the mobile app to alert me to urgent issues, which I then handle on the desktop app or browser version.

It's a great challenge to use this app on Android device. It happened to work satisfactorily for a certain period of time, but after the last "upgrades" it is either non-functioning at all or at best - freezing and really slow. Just can't use it on the go. Works pretty fine on iOS device or desktop version, so wonder if it's ever tested on Android before releasing. Waiting for some further updates to get it back running.

1. It forced me to read from the older meassage for EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER which wasting alot of time. 2. I hit the reply button for thousand times and it still no response then the app stopped. 3. Finally when I can send the message, it keeps in the draft and not send out. When I open again, guess what? My message gone and I have to re- type again. It was like taking me half an hour just to successfully send out a message to a customer.

This a commutation app that makes communicating incredibly difficult. I think it tries to upload your message to there server instead of storing drafts locally so it constantly resets your message and typing to a prior state and it becomes a battle to try and get a message finished. Save the messages locally on my phone, send the whole thing when I hit "send". Simply no excuse for this.

The app lacks dark mode, the text is uncomfortably small, and navigation feels inconsistent and unintuitive. For a platform centered on email, it’s surprising how difficult it is to simply read and respond to messages. Were this not a company-mandated tool, I would remove it immediately.

Man come on guys, fix your mobile app. I keep having to reinstall it to get emails to come through properly. Need to scroll all the way down through discussion threads to get to most recent. Sometimes scrolling through months of data. Constantly getting errors trying to retrieve emails.

I have never experienced a worse piece of software. Both the desktop and mobile apps are veritable nightmares, between the scroll issue and message delays when our work is time sensitive. In regards to the mobile app, I should not have to clear the cache each time I want to send a message, lest the app freeze. The point is to be able to use Front while on the go, but the app is so broken that I'm stuck to my laptop 7 days a week. The devs should be ashamed. - yes this is the current version -

Time to update my review. The android app is still very buggy. In a time era where handling emails from the phone becomes a larger and larger part of a workday, Front still manages to have a very buggy app - and therefore their service cannot be recommended. Having worked on front for year, i can only ask you to think twice as it is almost impossible to switch away from front once you have you processes sorted. I hate having felt shat on like I have with front. Poor those who work there.

Was forced to use the desktop version for work and my workplace recommended I download the mobile app. Desktop version is awful, emails going missing at least 3-4 times a night or stored away in a random folder making looking for previous emails or emails sent by others in the same department an absolute nightmare. I would never willingly use this app and hope my workplace switches to literally any other email app.

Been using Front for a while and both the desktop and android app need refinements. actually responding to an email in the app is a really clunky experience. Some emails (html ones) display with tiny text. The quick compose in bottom corner doesn't work for emails only chat's. Notifications are a bit unruly. Don't always get notifications for discussions I'm assigned to. I shouldn't have to be mentioned in that scenario. web and mobile really need a simple task list, kanban board or viaual view

I have uninstalled the app. I did like many of its features and it looked like it would help me reduce my email inbox. However, using an email application is complex and 7 days is not enough to evaluate the product. Try a fremium business model and give users enough time for a valid evaluation. I contacted support and was rebuffed. I finally found a 75% discount for the first year, showed them a screenshot and asked to PAY for a year but was rudely dropped in chat session. NO RESPONSE AT ALL.

Generally disappointed in the app. The regular web interface is great, app neutered and does not compete against stock gmail. Response is generally laggy when hopping around the app. No ability to access any preferences (signatures, template responses and more). A refresh option is preferred to the way it is now.

Long threads load at the beginning, and force you to scroll through the entire history to get to the latest comments. I made this comment earlier and Front said they'd fixed it in the latest update. I just updated. Its still a problem. Literally the only reason we use Front is because it lets you chat in the context of an email thread. The moment gmail figures that out, if they ever do, I'm switching back.

The new update is full of bugs. Half the time my emails do not load. When I start the app it always seems to throw me into the last email I've read. The prior version at least worked. Thus new version, while it looks better only actually works half the time.

Latest update automatically closes your reply and saves as a draft after you type one word and click "space" Then they responded saying they updated the app! Now it tells me it sends my replies but they remain as drafts until I reopen the draft and resend it. But when it finally sends it removes anyone in the CC line!!!!! And we keep getting slower and slower as the new updates get released... You'd think this was a free app ...

I've only had the app downloaded for about 5 minutes and I'm already frustrated with it. It's 2020. Apps should be a lot more user friendly and streamlined. This felt clunky and reminds me of trying to use mid 2000s forums on modern day phones. I have the app on my iPad, and while the screen size is different, the experience is akin to desktop/website: little to no clunkiness. That should be the same for android as well. Please do a heavy revision of this app.

I absolutely love the desktop and iOS apps, but this one just doesn't notify me about anything until I open the app! I even turned off battery optimization as requested and nothing. No president notification dot like on iOS - no alerts. Nothing. So disappointing. I spent way too much money on this service for these issues.

After the recent update, the app has been really slow to load even when sending and viewing messages sometimes the app freezes when I try to send my message. Recently it has been kicking me out and I have to sign back in this is really inconveniencing.
