Funimate Video Editor & Maker

I love this a lot!! This is one of my favorite editing apps by far... BUT there aren't many songs to choose from. Also, most of the effects are locked and you have to pay for. I get that you need money, but I wish that there could be a bit more unlocked for us broke people over here lol. Other than that, I love this app! I hope that there can be more music to choose from in the future and less locked effects, please. Thanks!

This is a really awesome editing app! There are a lot of things you can do, and you can watch other people's videos! There are lots of stuff to add like elements and AI effects. The reason I put four stars is because there is ads every few videos and when you edit the videos or are done with them. And there is a lot of stuff you can only do if you pay for it (pro), and their is also lags. But other than that it's a pretty awesome app! I recommend it.

I've been using this app since 2020 and it's sad to see the decline in quality. On ios products, it works quite well, but on Android it's a mess due to all the bugs and issues, such as, - When you try to save a posted video to your gallery, there is simply no audio - If you do save something from a draft, the audio is not usually synced to the video, even if it was during editing - If you try to post a video, it just doesn't upload for some reason, and the home feed doesn't load half the time

I used to LOVE this app because I wasn't able to get video star, now there are too many adds and I don't have enough money to pay for a membership. I did love the new transition you brought in, they are improving a lot, but there are WAY too many adds. And you can only watch one. If you are patient and also cant get video star, this is the best app to get. Just be warned of the adds

I had to edit my review since they changed how to use a sound. It used to be so awesome! Now I spend a half an hour looking for a thirty second song and then another half an hour editing. Plus, the coolest editing feautures are on pro version, which you have to pay for. Everything else was so great, I wish they wouldn't have changed it. It's still a good app though.

Funimate is a great app for editing. I really like it but lately when ever i put music it won't let me. I thought it was because the beginning of the song was silent so i tried again. And still didn't work. I tried mutilple songs and still gives me the same result. Also a lot of the transitions are now pro. Its not fair i don't want to spend my money for transtions. You guys should take a few off of pro.

The app is good in general and great for beginner editors. However it is very laggy sometimes. When editing a video, you can't see your transitions and how good it is until you publish the video because it's so laggy. Also you have to pay for so much of it! And its be cool for voice overs. Funimate please fix the laggy issue. However like I said, it's good for beginners but I myself used this for a year and moved on to Alight Motion.

The effects, coloring, velocity, and shakes are really good, but the ads after literally every action is unbearble. When I try to save a video, I have to go through 4 ads to finally save it, and when I'm done with that, I get another ad! I can't even open a project without getting an ad. The only way out of this annoying cycle is to pay $2.99 a month, which would be the best option. I'll stick with Capcut, and only use this app for finishing touches.

It's really good! Edits are amazing, and there are chats where i can talk to my friends and discuss edits. However, when i go to edit a video, it can randomly lag and mess up the whole thing. Also, there needs to be something done about the haters, hackers, and inappropriate users. So, please look into that, otherwise, keep it up! Looking forward to using Funimate for years!!

Good free video editing app. The music editor is limited. All you can do is add one track, and you can't edit the audio afterwards like visual media. Transitions look choppy during editing, but fine in the final exported video. The app can also crash. Those are the few issues that prevent me from paying for it, but for a free app it's pretty good.

It's a good app, but I just wish you could search for songs that you want to use. An example was when I made a Animation and wanted to add a certain song, but the app doesn't give you much of a choice to search what you want. And you have to pay money to get even more acces to things, A future update you could do is make it where Users have the option to search what they want; Songs,Certain types of Editing tools.. etc.

It's extremely laggy and almost feels impossible to edit without ads popping up each moment. I went on to add a FREE filter and had to go through 4 ads. Its lagginess is terrible, I can't even add one animation of a cube without my whole video freezing. *update* My last rating was a 1/5, but now I'm giving you a 4/5 because it's good when you get to know it, but still, the number of ads is insane. It's hard to export without having to watch 2 minutes of just ads.

They make everything pro. All the good transition that used to be free are now pro and some you can't even use cause you have to rate the app, follow it on something, or watch a ad, considering the fact there's already SO many ads. It's always lagging when I'm making the video and always kicks me off the app. But it is a really good app to make my profile pictures on, Like really good. So I give it 3 stars.

The app is alright. I had it for a day and uninstalled the app but I'm going to try again. For some reason it won't allow me to put anything in the bio. I'm hoping uninstalling and reinstalling will fix this. The other thing I'm not super happy about is the amount of edits that are pro. I understand that they sure trying to make money but that's over half of the edits that are specifically for those who have pro accounts.

I really like it! But there are other cooler transitions you can do but only if you get pro. That's not really fair because when you don't have pro, you don't really get a lot of new options from what you have to make the edit cooler. And I would also like the watermark to be removed without paying for it to be removed. And make our own watermark.

It's an amazing app and really good for transitions!! Totally amazing definitely recommend. The only reason I deducted a star is because every 2 or so months, it completely just like breaks and every time there's a transition, it freezes afterwards. When it happens I have to uninstall and reinstall it, not too much of a problem. 9/10 do recommend. (hate all the ads though.)

Funimate is a very fun app to use, it's great for when i'm bored or for when i'm just feeling an audio that I HAVE to use. What really messes up my rating for it, is having to pay if you want to save the edit you just made. I also tried to screen record it so I could just crop it, but when I try to, the word 'Funimate" appears on the entire edit. I'd give it a five star rating, but those are the problems.

I really do love this app its really fun. But there are a few things that aggravate me. I can't get pro so I can only use so many effects and one night there free the next day they aren't so I make an edit at night and I have to change half the effects in the morning. Also sometimes the ads won't play so I can't get those effects. Other than that tho great app. I really recommend. Sorry for bad grammar lol I'm not in the mood to edit this.

I think that this app is FANTASTIC. super easy to learn, love how they have a setting where more editing and less social media, overall its worth the hype. The only reason why I am deducting 2 stars is because no matter what i do, it will not save my edit. It is only 50~ish seconds long, is it too large to save orrrr? It simply crashes and says I can resume. If anyone can resolve my issue i will GLADY bump this up to 5 stars, but in the mean time its 3.

Honestly, this is giving beginners the wrong idea of what video editing is. I used to use it but now I regret liking it. I'd recommend more interesting transitions for layers and maybe the ability to edit transitions and even make our own. Oh and not to mention the pro isn't worth it and it's SUPER expensive. Another issue I have is the MASSIVE watermark. It's huge, opaque, colorful, everything you wouldn't want in a watermark. Overall don't recommend.
