Furnished Finder

As a landlord, the app is only surpassed by the actual website in its complete uselessness. I am on several other platforms this one is the poorest designed. It has a horrible UI. Just a lot of looping back to the main dashboard. My husband who is in computers can't even help me figure it out. Their customer service is unhelpful as well. It is buggy it crashes out. There is currently no way to even see the public view of my rental. Don't waste your time and money. Advertise and list elsewhere.

New Listing Experience. It took time to do a listing because my camera photos had to be converted and then only a few were posted. Property searches should have filters and a mile range plus include airports (DTW for example) vs just an exact city. Home is 20 minutes from Detroit and Ann Arbor, but out of town guests can only search by one city at a time and because mine is in between those it does not appear in a search. Edit: I did get an insurance booking within days of posting!

Clunky and time consuming! It gets the job done but you have to re-enter your search queries (dates, location, price) every time. It should be set up so you have a saved search query - seems basic. The in-app messaging works fine but appears not used by LL. It's the only monthly housing search engine but I dread using it.

Some features in the app missing like being able to send message templates from housing requests received. As for the service itself it seems to be hit or miss. The annual cost for hosts probably makes it better for renters since it rules out the scammer posts. But at the same time it seems to be a smaller pool of renters for a higher cost compared to other platforms.

I don't know if the landlords get notifications periodically reminding them to update their listing if needed, but it woul be great if they did. I have been using this app for almost 2 years to find accommodations where my work contracts are, but a lot of the time the listings are advertised as available but I find out after sending a booking request that it isn't available for several more months. I hate that I have to keep putting in my location over and over. I put it in, then it takes me to the site, and then I have to put it in again? I also wish it could tell me the distance to work somehow. 3 stars for being so broad. Update: I'm finding it very frustrating. I can't open my messages, it keeps buffering and never opens. I go to my email to figure it out and still can't see the darn email. UPDATE! Was able to open messages for a short while, as of today, I can't. Buffering

This company is a joke! I paid to list my property here and it was a huge mistake. I ended up renting it with no subscription cost on Facebook marketplace with way more interest. Then when it was rented elsewhere, it was impossible to remove my listing here, since it wasnt rented with furnished finder. As they have no option to take it down if rented elsewhere. They told me I had to wait for my subscription to expire and then when it expired, I was charged for an auto renew... cool guys

The app never works, it is a complete waste of time. You have to delete and reinstall for the location search to work. Messages never load, you receive the loafing circle of death. Also, copy and paste option is not enabled in messages so you have to retype every message individually. App reminds me of something from the 1990s AOL internet days with its lack of user friendly interface.

I paid for this app expecting real clients and it was a complete disappointment. I never received a single client. The platform shows many “leads,” but the vast majority never respond to messages, which raises serious concerns about their quality and authenticity. The return on investment is ZERO, the app is not intuitive, and it does not deliver what it promises. I wouldn’t give it a single star if I had the option.

This is a terrible app. All of my previous leads and messages have been deleted with eventually no response at all from FF. When I try to view Messages I get a blank page. When I try to view Leads it says "You're all caught up for now!" The only way I could get into the app was thru the Calendar and now I can't even do that. It's when worse now.

The map feature on this app barely works. It doesn't care about your filters (will show you multiple places past your move in date, places that don't allow pets, etc) and constantly resets and zooms out. Sometimes you click the numbers and it shows nothing. Sometimes you click on a house and every thing you click afterwards is that same house. Just incredibly frustrating to use if you're looking based on location and no way to sort houses based on what's closest to the location you picked.

This app is so frustrating. The filters don't work. You plug in a price and an accommodation type and it still shows everything outside of your filters. Furthermore, it doesn't have an available now feature in the filters, not that it would work if they did, but for convenience purposes that would help greatly. App is also buggy. Sometimes the map view won't show the listing's. It just shows another picture of the price. I hope that they can fix these things and make it better

Love the idea, don't know where I'd find month to month rentals for me/ travel nurse without it, but almost gave it a 3/5. The app messes up constantly. In map view, it randomly reverts to showing me all listing's vs my search criteria; half the time when I click on the dollar amount it does nothing. Shows numerous listings way past my move-in date - why!? When I review messages I've sent, there is no way of knowing whose listing is whose unless I know the listing number, i.e. there is no link.

The UI is a little wonky. It doesn't update my edits. It deleted entire sections I wrote in detail about my property. It deleted my listing of close by hospitals and schools. It listed I don't accept pets when I do. It does, however, receive and alert of emails from potential guest requests. The UI could be better. Hopefully it will improve in the future.

Crashes and freezes often. And at terrible times like when a message is nearly finished being typed out. Please fix. I am enjoying the service and website itself though. Edit - was hoping would improve three months later for our next contract location. Same issues remain. Just typed up and completed the entire housing request form, only for it to continuously circle without ever loading or submitting my form. Very frustrating.

it was working fine until the update. Now it doesn't let me save apartments & that I need to login to do so, but it shows I'm logged in. I logged out and logged back in, but it's not working. Also, I reached out to someone, and they deleted their listings, but they still show up in the search & when i click, there's an error. weird.

The tech could really use some iterating.... but that's been harped on already. I have issues with the fact that this platform touts they only connect hosts with guests. Meaning they don't hold anyone accountable at all. Guests can move in, and there really is no obligation to pay. Then, said squatter CAN leave a 1-star review.. and guess what else.. they easily create false accounts and leave more 1-star reviews because there's no security that blocks them from doing so. Support was helpful.

Such a bummer. Last"update" stopped it from working. Will uninstall. Constant pin wheel of death... Won't open messages, leads, etc. Also, furnished finder has changed how you can access help. It's pretty much non-existent at this time. You can schedule a call. But so far I haven't been called back. They used to have an 800 number and the standard number, both have been disconnected. This is seriously disappointing because when I first got on to furnished finder I needed a lot of help.

Clunky and confusing match results. In a year I think I have received one real lead, all others have been mismatches (pets, # of beds, etc). But the biggest annoyance has been the map search configuration. If you have an apartment for rent outside the nearest large city, tenants will never find you, even if they type in the name of the smaller town, all they'll see is the big city results 20 miles away.

6/21/23 - The messaging feature capitalizes ALL words. It's very annoying. Update 4/3/25 - The app doesn't work at all anymore. Anything you click just links you to the browser. There is no reason at to have the app on your phone. Also, I'm considering getting rid of this service entirely. Most likely will not renew. There's no where near as activity as there used to be and a random fake review showed up on my profile and it's not being removed in a timely manner.
