absolutely useless thing. if you forgot your mobile or lost it then you can't get access unlike a good swap card which even if you forget then borrow it from work colleagues to use but no one gives their mobile. garbage technology in my opinion.

Previously I used to approach the door and it would grant me access. Now I have to open the app, choose which door to let me access by hitting on actions (even if there is only one door in the list) and then hit another button to request access? Takes too long! Thanks for your response but I don't want to have to open the app. I have tried all the settings. NFC is enabled.

Hi. It takes too long to open a door. It's a 2 step process. Max one step is needed. Also make the options or buttons much larger so that you don't have to use precision finger movements. It's annoying every time I have to enter or exit the boom gates. Also the scan for access and stop scanning button should be the same large button.

It's... Fine but could be so much better. UX is pretty horrible and disregards one handed use entirely for whatever reason. The gates do take a while to open but it's enough to get by. The setup experience is honestly poor and lacks any direction as to what's going on. The app generally just feels like the bare minimum as far as functionality goes so it's only getting a few stars from me.

Not so great for now, used to work. I accidentally unistaled the app and reinstalled it the same day. No way to log back in bcz the email "credential" is not validating as there's no invitation... I guess i would have to go through the office again and ask for a new invitation just to be able to validate the credentials for the app that I've already payed for and had working. Can't do it as it's weekend. Can't enter the market for a stock pickup, Both client and me loosing $ bcz of this...

Does what it says, but does it poorly. Airlocks require waiting 15 to 25 seconds for the app to realise there is another door and you're not wanting to go back through the door you just did. When you use that airlock 10 to 30 times a day it becomes very tedious very quickly. Edit: Thank you for the response. NFC is enabled, it just takes that time for the app to "refresh" its view from the previous access point to showing both of them when holding phone near it.

It's the dumbest app, it takes ages to navigate a simple reader and this is only after you get passed the idiotic "invitation not found" error. If you buy a new phone good luck setting it up again it's not going to happen without contacting Gallagher. My University place uses it but I have a student card which opens nothing at all... Amazingly thought out process which reks the current system only to leave you in a pickle when 3rd party changes are made. Why I can't give it zero stars?

Hi developers, please keep improving it... feedback: 1. When I was first installing after I accepted the bluetooth permission, it automatically continued without giving me the option of selecting the NFC option. The NFC permission.. the option only became available after a few days .. thats great 2. When using bluetooth... the action and unlock buttons are miles apart on the screen.. u have to do this while stretched out one handed reaching for the bluetooth reader.. else lose connection

App doesn't work when bluetooth headphones are connected. When I disconnect headphones to access door, I have to reset phone in order for it to work. On other occasions the app just won't recognise doors and will spend its time searching for a door until the app is forced closed multiple times. I have the bluetooth settings on the app set to high yet there are still daily issues.... Have uninstalled and reinstalled app multiple times in the hope that something works. Too unreliable to use...

Terrible experience on Android. The company I work for moved to a building that requires this app to enter. It's a painful process. It's slow to detect the doors. I need to explicitly open them with a click because the proximity doesn't seem to work. Nobody on the building can figure out why. The support doesn't seem to exist on their site (a big marketing piece with nothing useful for users). If you are thinking about using it RUN AWAY FROM IT!

The app seems to have compatability issues with some Huawei devices. Sometimes requiring a full device restart before the readers and device are able to successfully communicate. I constantly get 'reader connection tiked out' notifications when trying to access a door.

SMS verification does not work. I have verified that my phone is receiving SMS messages from other apps and my contacts. I have also verified that my correct mobile number was used for setup. Therefore this app is useless to me and has made entering my apartment building a daily inconvenience.

The background tech seems to work reasonably well, but the UX is very poor. We use it at our estate's access gate, so should be usable when driving. There is too much small text on screen. The extent of the clickable areas on screen are unclear and very small. Why not just one large button to hit to open the gate you are approaching?

Used to work very well, however recently NFC has stopped working with this app. Bluetooth still functions fine and i have tested with other devices the site is ok, but my note 9 will not work with NFC. Using android 9 since release but the last time i went to site was android 8.

My work site took my physical access card and replaced it with this trash app. The app is useless, and I can't express enough how much I dislike being forced to use this garbage when my old card was fine.

Why does this app need to run in the background all day using battery? Just shut all the background services off when not open or provide the option to do so. If I need to open a door or gate, I'll open the app. I'm at 5% battery at the end of the day after doing hardly anything on the phone all day. Thanks Gallagher.

It's very hard to register. When I say to teachers for registration of app no one help .sent me to the college library, and they told me we would send you the registration link but didn't get any link yet.

Why is it that the new update is forcing Gallagher cloud connect? Fix that problem because when the message pops up I cannot open certain doors because the error message covers those doors. Besides, the Gallagher devices work on NFC/Bluetooth so why was this update necessary? Y'all broke a system that works.

Frustrating on android. My work place recently moved to this for building entry and the app just doesn't work. We've worked out that it won't work on the work profile that android has so I have to install a work app on my personal profile

The app is ok, it works. But now I have no idea how to migrate this to another phone, the phone I have right now is breaking down... Is there a way to copy paste the keys? Also is there a way to copy paste the required files onto my new phone?
