EDIT: After help from the GC staff, we got it figured out. In order for you to be able to score live streams, you need to be labeled as a staff member of your team. Their support was super prompt, replying quickly over a weekend and got everything solved. GC is a great resource for your team! Great resource for streaming games that parents can't make it to. Especially away tournaments. HOWEVER, after recent updates, keeping score now being a premium feature is very frustrating.

the app itself is useful,relatively easy to use. there are things I'd like to see improved. my reason for the poor review is the greed on pricing. You can't even see your own child's stats or the box score of the games without the subscription. that's pretty ridiculous. I generally have premium because I'm a coach,I didn't realize the pricing worked this way now. it used to be free. I can see someone like myself paying, I look a lot at other teams.But for each person is ridiculous!

Pretty good until it decides not to work. I paid for an annual subscription in March of 2025. October 17th 2025 the app only allows me to watch the game stream. No audio. Can't look at plays. Can only see a few lines of the game summary article. It's wanting me to upgrade to a higher level subscription to see and do all the things I've been able to do before my annual subscription expires. I'm trying to follow the games of 3 of my Grandsons. Very frustrating.

I purchased the Fan Plus to watch games. The audio doesn't work now, and the GameStream screen freezes even I turn on audio. I have to go back to the EVENTS screen, start over from there, click on game, & then screen updates the information. This happened continuously throughout the games this weekend, 25 to 30x per game. the audio did not work at all on the live video stream. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app TWICE, nothing was fixed, the problem with audio continued. Please Fix !!

Once upon a time, I loved this app. The ability to keep up with all my nieces and nephews even when they were all playing st once was a huge bonus, but now, you can't see ANYTHING but the little green field unless you pay subscription fees? Video's I understand. In particular clips, and details player stats. But now I can't even see the box score without a subscription? That's ridiculous!

It's only for basic scoring where stats don't matter. It is extremely easy to miss something in baseball when a lot of chaos happens on a play. If you get out of sync and don't catch it right away, the only way to fix it is to undo back to the mistake and then to perfectly recount everything the happened after that to redo it. Meanwhile, pitches are happening and you're missing them. They need a scorebook mode to let you change any aspect of any inning after the fact or this will never work.

Was great until a couple weeks ago when it randomly closes and won't reopen. For the last 3 days, it wouldn't open my team's game so I could watch the state tournament and now it will launch, but the second I click anything, it shuts down. Cleared cache & everything. Perfect timing during state. Since the price increased, I've had nothing but problems. Even logs me completely out randomly. 🤬🙄 I'll be canceling.

The app would be great if it gave me what I'm paying for with my Premium Subscription. I can't view the stats or plays from one of my son's teams when I'm not there. The team settings allow for family and players to see Stats, box score, plays, etc. Instead all I get is the screen with the option to buy a subscription. Even when I click on the purchase Premium button, it ready knows that I have a subscription. I've submitted 2 help center requests with no action. Very frustrated.

Video option is pretty useless. I'm only saving my video to device cuz I'm testing it before live streaming it. The first issue is there is no pause. I'm not going to continue to record during half time so I end up with two videos. Then I don't seem to be able to do anything with those videos. And only one video can be uploaded per game and even when I upload I still don't seem to be able to do anything with the videos. I can't clip, can't create highlights, can't share,nothing!

Do not like being forced to switch from what was payed for. Loosing all previous stats and spray charts really sucks! There should be a way to import all stats and saved team/player info! And now the first time we use it, it is not working or experiencing issues. Really not a good start! Also, very frustrating to not be able to have access via pc. We loved being able to access GC via pc and copy stats and share with players and recruits. Now we are looking for an alternative to this mess!

I've been using the gamechanger apps for years and have a full yearly subscription on autopay. I was charged for my subscription on April 18. Today the app is telling me I have to purchase a subscription. Classic works but gamechanger doesn't and my accounts are linked. I have never had any issues until today. No response from support at this time. Very frustrated!!!

Overpriced! I have 2 daughters who play travel softball, and high school ball, so we paid for the premium package ($60). Just got an email that in August when my sub is up, the renewal is now $90!!! Assuming there are some amazing new features coming for that 33% increase?!? Because with the streaming issues when you try to live stream, and the difficult nature of correcting mistakes while scoring a game, it's just not worth it for $90 a year. I just can't understand how you justify a $30 jump.

So very disappointed. I have had this app for over a week and even at the most basic level of "subscription", it HAS NOT moved past or opened up any further access of capabilities the start up access where all I am allowed to do is find my team and find my player. I can see the schedule of PAST games ONLY!!! I cannot see the season schedule or get to see the game action in "real time" like where balls are hit or field position, runners or at bats. NOTHING! I'm about to delete this darn app!

I had to switch over to Team Manager once I was an Admin of more than 3 teams. Game Changer didn't give me the option. It seems very similar to GC to be able to setup games & score, but I did run into problems attempting to edit one of the player's jersey numbers. They are registered on other teams in the same season, and that could be a possible bug in the system. 90% of the other players jersey numbers were able to be changed. All the parents who rely on the GC app to watch when they couldn't be at a game, had to download the Team Manager app to keep up on the games. The feature of importing your previous teams is very nice. The one thing I DON'T like, it's a mobile device only app - I usually like to schedule games & run the stats on a PC / laptop, and that doesn't seem to be an option.

It says free video streaming, stats etc. BS You have to subscribe and pay for almost everything, even just to hear the game or check your child's stats. This app sucks and is suck a rip off, I mean who the hell what's to watch a game and not be able to hear it, there are so many parents, family and friends that cannot afford to pay for everything just to watch and hear the game not to mention see stats etc and are not able to be at the game due to out of town, working, physically not able etc.

Why can't I download the app on my PC? Stats just aren't as user-friendly on a phone as they were before when I could see on my computer. Pitching lines should appear in the order the pitcher appeared. If the starter went 5 innings and a reliever 2, it should rendered as such, not in reverse order. Play-by-play should be 1-7 not 7-1 with bottom half of the inning listed first. Don't get full names of players anymore either. Only improvement are positions now indicated.

If I pay money and can't see the stats, then it's not worth it. Great job IT department, and especially the accounting team, for squeezing the dime out of your user base!!! You got so greedy that now you're losing money. I'll never shop at Dick's or subscribe to another app game changer app. I coach two teams and follow 3 others. Y'all would be nothing without people like my family who score the game! For y'all to price gouge at this level is sickening. Isn't the advertising for Dick's enough?

This app used to be great. Then Dick's decided that they were not making enough money. Now when opening the video stream of a baseball game, I have to wait through a 30 second commercial that you cannot exit out of, and cannot even get to the game stream screen. We like to switch back and forth between game stream (which shows the player's names) and the video stream, But you can't do that except between innings unless you don't mind missing however many plays

I am not happy with this version of GC. We used it for a weekend tourney and were very frustrated. When scoring, you can't back out of the game and go right back. Numerous parents were unable to find our game. There were terrible lags on the scoring. At one point, the whole first two innings simply vanished and we had to quickly try to reenter what we could remember. I dislike the layout - but that is just my personal opinion. Switched back to old GC on 2nd day. Tons of other issues, too

Last year it was free and still claim to be free but it's a lie. Every thing they claim is free you can only access with a over priced subscription which is double the price if you can't pay for a year in advance. The only thing free is watching a slow game cast and but you can't see the box score, game stats, or even your team stats with out paying for a subscription and the same with audio or video streaming. Their discription claims all this is free but it's all misleading and lies
