GameTree: LFG & Gamer Friends

This has to be one of the worst experiences I've had from an app on this store. From forcing you to rate certain games low for no reason at all, to literally having to scroll ONE MONTH AT A TIME BACK FROM PRESENT DAY TO REACH YOUR BIRTHDAY, I cannot imagine an app with a worse user interface. Once you add a game to a list, it's there forever. No amount of clicking 'remove' will successfully take it off your list. And you can't even choose which list to put it on in the first place!

I made connections! At my age, it's difficult to make new friends, so when I heard there was a platform that helps you make gamer friends, I was excited. To my delight, I made several connections and they're going strong. I am very happy 😊 The only criticisms I have with the app this far are the amount of bots. There is a noticeable number of them and it gets annoying trying to filter out real from fake accounts.

I used to love this app, but can't use it anymore after finally figuring out which account/email I used to sign in. Once you delete your account, you can't re-sign in with that same service or email. Even if it hasn't been that long. The app itself isn't too bad but could use some polishing. Even if you set filters to meet people close to you, somehow, someone from across the world will pop up in your list.

The "Next" button when setting up a profile at the beginning, is located partially under the selfie camera for my Samsung Galaxy S10. This makes it hard and sometimes impossible to click next without having the notification tab come down at the top of my phone. I couldn't even finish setting up my account. Please fix. Update: Fixed. Thank you!

I really enjoy using this app, and have had times where I found awesome people, however the bugs, and issues are so prevelant that if they aren't resolved soon, I'll be uninstalling the app for good. My messages never load properly, my profile is constantly glitching out, making it difficult to make changes, I NEVER receive notifications, even after having made sure that the notifications for the app are ALL turned on, and it's impossible to add games, or rate them on my profile anymore.

1st of all you can't click anyone's profiles that you've messaged (i guess it's bugged) , so when you match them all you can see if their profile pic and name. Can't see their age , gender, what games they play, any crucial information cannot be looked at after you 1st message them. Someone can verbally harass you in messages but there is no report button, someone had an inappropriate pic but can't do anything about it because of no report button. Very disturbing lack of moderation

Tried this app due to seeing the "uwu" (dating) part of the app. Made an account, set up all the stuff and there is no option to enable the dating part, heck there isn't even a filter for genders. I also got immediately spammed by bots and the first recommend "byte" was of a woman without clothing, which was quite a bad first impression. After joining the beta version of the app, I try to log in and my account is just gone, which made me uninstall.

Rewriting my review since there has been many updates. still a 1* but for different reasons. This app is full of fake accounts and scammer bots. It's a big problem but nothing is being done it seems like. The gender filter is missing so I'm stuck only finding men. I'm also getting 18-year-olds, even though my filter is 20+ I'm really hoping they bring back more features from the old GT as well like badges and the personality quizzes for better matching

The sign up procedure doesn't work. It is just stuck on the same screen for minutes, and if I try to refresh, I get a dropped pass error. Shoddy work, hire better programmers. Edit: Devs responded and claimed the issue has been resolved. I tried signing up with email, X, and Google. None of these worked.

Was great, used it a year ago, actually still have a friend from then (most didn't succeed, people don't really interact, which is not the app's fault). There was an update a while ago and now I can't log in. There is no option for it. Literally can't use it. Maybe fix the basic functions before adding brainless and useless AI features.

I enjoy the concept of this app as I am a gamer who often is just not having many people to play with. My only blight is the absolute unstable glitchiness of it all. if something won't click I need to reload the app. I have a permanent 6 messages from deleted users, that I cant remove or leave the chat. Overall the app is fun! I've already met someone whos fantastic to play with and most likely a life long friend. The balance of male,female and nonbinary seems nice as well, I say as a woman.

Can't even make an account it gives me a something went wrong error message. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing catch, and even turning on and off my wifi. I was excited to try this. oh well ill come back and check if they fixed this.

changed the rating cuz there is technically a blocking system but now my chats do not load at all, it says check your connection and try again, internet is fine, uninstalled and reinstalled, and still not working. it's a great app but the weird bugs are definitely a turn off

at first, the app was great, but after some updates, iv been unable to log on for months now, and apparently, after so long of not being able to log on, they will delete your account . iv reached out to customer service and got nothing no help, nothing. and regardless of what login method I use, it just goes straight back to the log-in option. will be going else were. and customer service assume all digital artists are scammers or sell porn even if all you draw is SFW fanart so f that .

flooded with bots, scammers and not worth it. I was banned randomly and without reason not once, but twice. maybe its becausenim calling out all the scammers and bots on there. or maybe its because there not sense of communication for the flood of issues on there. save your time and look elsewhere. IF am unbanned then MAYBE i might change the rating. MAYBE.

Immediately after opening an account I was bombarded with messages from fake, obviously scam accounts, making it very difficult to trust that this app has my safety in mind and very difficult to believe anyone I meet on here is real. Despite applying the age filter it kept showing me people outside the set range. Please fix these issues and I will be back, as the app has great potential

this is a discord bot that doesn't need an Android app. matching actually takes place in discord using a cryptic command line interface. The app is only a friend making interface and settings. you'll be going back and forth from discord. if you have a good understanding of discord and how to use its CLI to invoke a bot and don't mind doing a lot of connecting of accounts in both ways this is a great discord bot for you. I wanted simple and this is not it.

After chats being broken for weeks now there is no chats. You can add people but there are no messages tab.

This app is by no means perfect but it has led to some good friends to game with. It was working fine until a few days ago when I used it and now I'm unable to login through any platform - app / web nothing. Everytime I try to login it says "an error occured" and If I attempt to reset my password it says, "undefined." Email support and heard nothing from them. It's like they're non existent. Absolutely horrendous.

I'd actually give this zero stars if I could This app used to be good to find other gamers & make new friends. It used to run a whole lot better. For a good year or so it just constantly crashes, takes forever to load.....if it does at all! The recent update I feel that they have completely ruined the app! The point there's nothing to keep you interested. You now can't post anything, can't view profiles, can't join groups. I feel like the Devs expected it to completely run smooth after created
