this app sucks. I paid usd 6 for wrong information on plants I identified correctly. so instead of fooling people get real database set up for your app.
The minute I downloaded the app. The same minute I got bombarded with 2 long commercials/advertising. When the commercials were done. I proceeded to the next step. After the next step was over 2 long commercials. Once they were done. Proceeded to the next step. And After the third round of 2 long commercials. I erased the app. That's unnecessary, why build an app if you can't let your users enjoy it?
As soon as I opened the app, I was bombarded with ads. Every feature I opened it showed me an ad first. It showed me many ads didn't even fully explore the app before deciding to uninstall it. The sad part is I was looking to purchase the ad free version if it was good but the amount of ads just made me want to not even give it a chance.
Too many ads, not able to use the app. Tried scanning plants at my home, details are too scientific... Like name and all .. I don't understand if it's really identifying my plant correctly or not coz I don't understand these scientific names... In the plant health check, it doesn't tell what should I do next... I mean even if paid subscription is there, there should be some free limit so that I understand if this app is really trustworthy or not...
It's easy to use, the problem is that it doesn't even work. I uploaded mutiple files, with different lightning and from different angles but it couldn't identify any of my plants, even though there pretty common. The adds are way too intrusive, do not install this app.
The identifications this app gave me were painfully wrong. I tried it on plants whose identification i was sure of, and of 3 plants all were wrong. It gives you a list with percentages of likelihood and none of the plants i scanned were on the list. Don't waste your time.
couldn't use it. I downloaded it, went to open it was met by a google ad, when U tried to close said as it restarted loading up only to force another ad on me. I did this 8 times. 8 frustrating times. take my advice just use google lens guys it's not worth the battery drain and feustration
Absolutely unusable unless you pay to remove the advertising. You quite literally spend more time navigating through ads than taking advantage of the application's functionality which, so far as I could tell (between ads) is not particularly good.
I don't mind the ridiculous amount of ad's, well face it, it's free. But, the fact that this app is useless, well then the ad's bother me. Took 5 pictures of house plants that i know and the app was wrong 4 times. Took 5 pictures of succulants....5 wrong! It told me my banana plant was prickly lettuce....wow... Also, it only gives you a scientific name for the incorrect id, so now you have to go to google to id it.... Just use google lens, its just as bad with No Ad's
Out of 5 plants, it could only correctly identify one, that too aloe vera. 2nd, the details and health information is provided for the plant identified (which is 80% incorrect) as per my experience. The app has potential but the lenses are not reading it correctly.
I was bombarded by adverts from the very start. Some adverts were very inappropriate for a child. when i eventually battled through to the identity feature it doesn't detect my camera so cant use it anyway.
It's a useless app... I tried in my garden on all the plants it didn't even find the easy plants too though I took pictures in different different angles. And it shows plenty of Ads.
Worst and cheater app ever...ad on facebook was shown as it identifies plants and accordingly tells caring point even tells what nutrients or manure is needed for plant growth...but as I installed so only told scientific name and species...do not download if you are installing as thinking of will guide about plant care.
They have a commercial of how you can identify a sick plant of devil's ivy and get treatments guidance. Well... I have healthy Devil's Ivy of all sorts. I have climbing giant one. I have lime leaves falling, regular dark and white..it miserably failed to identify any of them and not even on the 'other matches' was there any Devil's Ivy result. Beside being totally useless It has like an ad for any action (open app, ad, click category, ad, start camera, ad)
I didn't think I would ever use or like this app. But I have used it more times then I thought. I also introduced it to my neighbor. We have a lot of plants that we want to check out. It seems pretty accurate. At least gives you An idea of what a plant might be. This app is easy to use and I would definitely recommend it.
Worst app I have ever seen. There is so much unwanted ads and it takes so much time to identify the plants. The required information about the plants are not given in time.
Guys this app is not worth it....because I downloaded it but not working. For instance, if u scan a tomato plant it will tell that it's strawberry plant. I have tried with different types of plants but still not giving correct information.
Total wastage app. Even not be able to identify common plant's. You have to bear with Ads. For long and only found result as unable to identify plants...
Just downloaded and have been playing with it for 15 minutes. Can't find how to make everything in English. I tried 5 different photos and it got everyone of them wrong. I will play with it a bit more, but it looks like an uninstall is coming.
Gone are the days of searching through massive textbooks trying to figure out which types of flowers (and weeds) you're dealing with in your own yard. Aside from using this app to identify plants, you can also use it to learn more about the different species you discover. You have instant access to a large database of plants that's constantly being updated with new information. You can also keep track of all the plants in your garden and use it to learn more about the different types of plant
