Love that I can set alarms for my kiddo, and he is enjoying the games. He loves making sure he gets his goal everyday and I love the sleep tracking. I wish I could initiate a sync from the app, instead of having to ask him. Also, I wish it had the ability to send a one word message if in range (like an indoor play area) so he knows it is time to come eat or just check in bevause i havent seen him in a while.

great watch, app is lacking. bought 2 watches for my kids to track activities and sleep. the watch itself is great. i can easily tell them to do something for a certain amount of time and they can set a timer. the app is really terrible. it is constantly telling us to sync. after a successful sync, and then it says to re-sync. some of the icons do not show up on their watch after several syncs. it seems like the developers are pushed to update without any QA.

Very nice app and easy to use. I went with a 3 here because a few things could be added. I would love the option to add or subtract coins without setting a chore. Like if my kids are good 👍 or bad 👎. I can add or subtract coins to reflect that. The board game is very nice and interesting. I would love a potty timer to help potty train. I can set a timer on the watch itself however if it goes off and I dont hear it. It just goes away. Maybe a notification to the app letting the parents know.

I'm only giving this app 2 stars because I have no idea if it's my son's watch or the app that isn't working. Software was updated then the time, calendar, completed chores were all gone. It constantly wants to sync but won't. I've tried resetting the watch but that won't work. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app and it gives a "404 server error" so I can't even sign into the app again. Very disappointing!! Maybe it's time to switch to a Fitbit Ace 2?!

UPDATE: it's been 2 years with three kids - If only it would sync more consistently it would be great! Nothing like this app, I looked around and Garmin has it. My kids love it (4, 6 and 8) and check their chores and coins almost every day. As a parent you have to be committed to consistency (duh) or the app isn't worth much. It's what the parents make of it.

Great app, works well for what it does. One complaint is that it is locked down to the Garmin ecosystem. Any friends of your child must also have a Garmin watch to communicate to your child. Or you must give them full access as a "caregiver" which will allow them to send messages through the app however it also allows them to see your child's location. A "friend" setting that allows them to send messages but not see location would be beneficial.

Great app all in all if you are looking for a way to communicate with your growing child without giving them a cell phone. Quality is great and it performs well. I only gave it a 4 because texting location gets buried and doesn't go through the normal app with the phone, it has to go through the garmin app so you have to consciously check it. Otherwise, this watch is exactly what we were looking for and the plan was more affordable than the standard carriers.

Needs overhaul. With the release of the Bounce watches, the app needs a full rework. The chat "connect" needs to have the option to create groups for just parent to multiple children, both parents to just one child instead of to whole family, etc. Connections have been spotty at time, and accuracy low. At several times through the day it shows my children leaving school, even though the circle defining their school is quite generous. I assume some is firmware on the devices as well.

Most areas are 5 stars, except: Watch allows up to 10 alarms (fine). The chore menu allows you to add way more than that, though. I figured I would add say, 20, and disable/enable them halfway through the day. NOPE-Garmin stores the FIRST 10 regardless of if they're enabled. Having lots of alarms for ADHD kids could be a lifesaver, please make it so it stores the first 10 ACTIVE alarms! Also, deleting or turning them on/off in settings does not work; it only saves if done through chores menu.

Have used the app with my kids for about 2-3 weeks and has become very enjoyable as we compete in steps and active times. Being able to message them has always been reliable and the GPS was my biggest concern these days as a phone would not help if they get snatched but their GPS WILL!!!! I can live track and set boundaries in there most visited places (school, gramparents, etc) as well as notifies me when they enter and exit the places... highly recommended!!!!

Love it! So much fun, we get so much exercise! It let's them want to do chores!! They want to get lots of exercise, to finish there daily goel. They also like to do their chores to get coins for rewards! It also tracks there sleep. Also, we recently found out that you can put a timer on if you're, brushing your teeth, eating dinner, doing chores, sports, music, and more! Amazing!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! I bought 2 bounce 2 watches for my kids. I've tried updating them, resetting them, syncing them and its just constant glitches. Failed calls, failed messages, failed location tracking, failed pairing and the list goes on. I paid alot of money for these watches thinking garmin made good products but its been nothing but disappointment!!!

using it track the kids is good, But trying to Make calls is impossible the app won't let me call them they just get missed calls notifications. but they can call us and to each other instantly through their watch. since paying for a subscription the app needs to be ironed out alot better so you won't have these type of issues

Auto update failed and everything looked fine. Wondering why I wasn't getting messages from my child. Had to go to the Android store and manually update even though auto updates is checked on. Thankfully it wasn't an emergency. Other then this the app has been good. Need to fix this so Guardians know when there is a disconnect.

the Live Track function is a great idea, but execution is awful. Easy to start (especially on accident), but then you can never turn it off and you have to call support which takes 24-48 hours to shut it off.

Really enjoy that im able to connect with my son. The voice chat is our favorite, we use it during hide and seek, cheeky little dude. I am having bug issues, keeps crashing on me when I open it and try to connect via messaging. Prompts me to update but there are no updates.

Disappointed is the least I could say. we got this device as it promises to give an accurate location of the person wearing it. As it is not a GPS watch, let's forget the accuracy. but at least it should give its whereabouts when you refresh the location. most of the time it doesn't and keeps popping the same error message. will have to return this as it does not serve its main purpose. I would expect much better for a Garmin device.

The app itself is good. I wish the messaging section would integrate with android auto/apple car play so I could message my kids or recieve messages from them hands free while driving.

Don't buy this watch if needing to know the location of your child is important to you. the location tracking "errors" all the time, pretty much whenever we try to use it. waste of money

works about as well as I could expect. I like that I can keep track of everything. I like how the GPS is fairly accurate and I can live track if I need to which I've had to do once or twice. I like the hell there's voice messages instead of just texting so they're not constantly on it. just a very functional little app
