I'm trying to get verified but their stupid verification system doesn't work! I was able to scan my driver's license,but when it comes to scanning my face it won't scan. I have to keep repeating. This is ridiculous! I can't even use the app until I get verified and I can't even scan my face properly because your scanning software sucks!! For it being a popular "go to" app it's not dependable. Making this app work effortlessly should be top priority for the company!

The app closes all the time saying my phone is not secured and I should disable developer's options, but even if I did just that, it still closes. Also, I HATE HOW YOU CAN'T USE THE APP UNLESS YOU UPDATE IT, AND IT HAS UPDATES ALL THE TIME! WHEN THERE'S NOT EVEN A CHANGE WITH THE MOST COMMON ERRORS/PROBLEMS. Every time I have to use the app to pay on stores, it says I have to update! It's really frustrating. Update: I hate how the authentication codes are VERY late.

The app is SLOW. PAINFULLY SLOW. The network has barely got anything to do with it. My connection is working just fine, able to load other apps with no problem, yet the gcash app just refuses to load. It's REALLY SLOW. It is constantly just processing and prompts "check your internet connection". It is really not about the internet, the app has issues, yet I have seen no improvements about it. Still the same slow processing app that they refuse to fix. They just give you useless ways to "fix".

Though a great app, the only annoying problem I have is its "Slow Connection Error." Whenever I inputted the code, it would take ages. I'd have to click the number over and over again just to enter. Once I've entered, my account's cash amount is "Processing," and it's basically so frustrating whenever I need to make an express send at the most important time. Fix this [I've used both and WiFi (both are strong) but it still wouldn't work.

It's absolutely the worst camera verification system I've ever seen. You can literally shove your ID right up in your camera and it would keep saying "Scan the front side of ID" and constantly switch between "Hold still" even if you're not moving. And after scanning the front side for how long, the camera BLURS when it's time to scan the back side. Completely difficult to use and verify. Not to mention the amount of bugs the app has. For an app that's used by many it's so unoptimized.

if I can rate this lower I would, I can't even open the app! Not to mention when I try to verify it takes SO long and there's so many bugs in the "code" which stops me from verifying, and even if I did verify and I try to purchase something (e.g Spotify premium) it would just ask me to verify AGAIN which takes longer. I am honestly very annoyed.

There are a lot of errors, especially when I tried to log into my account and the OTP took so long to send. I tried to force close the app, restart my phone, find a good signal, yet it's still delayed. Help center has no use. I sometimes wait for a few minutes without resending the OTP, but when I do, It sends so many OTP to every time I put one of them. It just says, "Wrong OTP." I hope this gets to be fixed because this app is connected to money.

After the update, I am unable to pay our bill. There's a recurring error saying that I have made a similar transaction when I have not done it yet. Hope this could be fixed. Most of the time, it does not load immediately upon logging in. Hope you can fix the bugs. It seems the dev team is more focused on the aesthetics rather than the performance of the app.

The “continue verifying” toggle isn't showing. I haven't completely submitted my form but it already says "We're verifying your account. You'll receive an SMS within 3 days when your account is fully verified.” Please fix this. I/We only have 5 days to submit our form, but the toggle for “continue verifying” isn't showing. I'm getting frustrated. This problem was issued last month but it still hadn't fixed until now. Please fix your app.

The app is still full of bugs and glitches. Whenever I tries to open the Help Center and check the status of my ticket, the app keeps closing, there's always an error prompt saying that I have been log out. Their process' still a hassle and takes too long to resolve the issues. I'm quite disappointed that nothing has changed ever since.

Lots of issues. I've been reconciling my transaction and there are many that don't match. I've previously created a ticket to locate a payment and it took a very long time (almost a week) to get an actual update. It waa never resolved and I got a lot of follow-up emails without an actual update. Now the recent issue is that "recent transactions" aren't reporting ALL records. I've had 2 transfers from Uno to gcash and those weren't showing in gcash but Uno has it.

I fully paid my loan, hoping for a cash-back reward, but received none. The app also claims you can re-loan after full payment, which is false! After every transaction, the app crashes. It prompts me to re-login, but my biometric login is extremely slow resulting in repeated login attempts even after clearing the cache over and over again!!!

Can't log into the app. It's saying processing, then nothing happens. It's impossible for the wrong MPIN either since it's just 4-digits and there's no MPIN error.

Great app. In case you get the "OOPS! Something went wrong. Please try again" error, check whether you are using an ad blocker. Try turning off the ad blocker. This is how I solved the error on my phone. EDIT: Biometrics to open the app is overdue. Still using numeric password. EDIT: This latest security overkill of turning off accessibility for ALL apps in order to use GCash is not productive. Very inconvenient

The app works and serves its purpose just fine. But the ads are horrendous! As soon as you open the app, boom! ad to your face! It does not consider if you're in a hurry and does not care about user friendliness at all! And it requires you to change permissions to the accessibility settings as well. Like some of these things may be important but this one app requires you to adapat and adjust so that you can use it. Very inconvenient!

I cannot login, and it’s been days. I get a “Ref 11” error and then GCash closes on its own shortly after. I’m not sure if this is a non-localized issue, but for me it started happening after re-installing GCash a few days ago, and it hasn’t stopped happening since. Looking up GCash’s help pages, I want to point out that I get all my apps from the Play Store, I don’t use “unsafe” apps, and I don’t meddle with stuff in a way that’d rationalize the “your device isn’t secure” thing I keep reading.

It's getting inconvenient, especially when I need it the most. I cannot pay bills on time due to inaccurate security issues such as, my phone is not in its most updated android version when it's already updated, my device is being detected for security issues, and a lot more. This happened not just once, but since September 2025. I cannot even logged in my account in my own device. Please, fix this issues.

I haven't been able to access my account for a while. The app will automatically log you out, which is already an issue since it can happen during inconvenient times. To log back in, you need a verification code that will be sent to your phone number but it hasn't been working properly. Even after reinstalling the app, I'm still not receiving the code so I've basically lost access to my account. I tried looking at their website but they have no support email and the hotline is just automated.
