Gear Defenders

a 4-5* game, but the VIP packs don't say they last 30 days until after you purchase them. I thought I was purchasing x2 speed for life, but after I made the purchase there was a duration. Nowhere did it say that there was a duration before I bought it. I feel cheated and lied to and I'd ask for a refund if I didn't know I wouldn't get it. Edit: Better experience? Put a 30 days on a purchase that lasts 30 days. That can't be an accident. That's purposeful, misleading and disgusting.

It would be the best game if you weren't cheated out of your reward for watching ads. From the beginning it wouldn't let me view the ads and gain rewards. now I'm lucky if I get through the ads and get rewarded. And now it seems I get halfway through the ad only to be denied the ones I need to continue further. And as gears that are denied are left on the playing field. This game has lots of bugs to work out. That's if the developers really care to fix these issues where most won't.

enjoy the game for the most part. hate being forced to do unskipable "tutorials" every time a new thing is introduced as the game goes on. the game is straight forward. shouldn't be forced to play a certain way just to "learn" how to use the thing when its not hard to figure out when it'll work same as what was already explained.

The game is fun and the only ads are for completely optional bonuses. The only negative aspects are piercing shots and multiple forms of currency. Piercing shots can kill multiple units including units that haven't even attacked yet, not to mention they can pierce through your castle walls(which is completely unrealistic), basically spawn camping. Spawn camping ruined many games. The currency problems are that you need different currency to upgrade at higher levels and you get way less of it.

Thought it was gonna be like a game I played before. The thing that sucks about this game is it's extremely challenging and not because of the enemies it's because every time you add a gear for troops they lower the time it takes for them to deploy instead of making it like a machine and would actually spin it faster. you have to get the right combo in order to.win amd that's pretty rare without spending money. try to watch ads to get some troops, etc,and instead of getting it, the game resets.

Huge issues and Bugs. The game never resumes after adds. The advertisement plays most for 3-5 minutes and then at the end it never returns to the game. I let my phone sit for an hour 3 times 3 different adds and it was just at the last screen that takes you to the play store if you touch it with no option to return to the game. The game concept seems really good. I looked for an option to remove adds I would pay for that, but it isn't there. really is a shame as it is the game is unplayable.

Absolutely, undoubtedly, hands down the most addicting game I've played in years. it's so simple. You just increase the gear ratio and decide which characters to use. It has ads but they made them a part of the game. You don't have to use them but it's pretty hard without them. I probably waste way too much time watching ads but they genuinely make the perks worth it. I hate ads, but this game has found a way to incorporate them so well that I enjoy using them. 10 out of 10 game.

The game is fun and I genuinely enjoy playing, but the ad system is unreliable. Watching an ad for a free upgrade will sometimes freeze or reset the app mid-ad. It’s not constant, but it happens enough to be a real problem. When this happens, I lose the entire match. That’s incredibly frustrating and makes the ad feature feel risky instead of rewarding.

yeah this game is seriously ridiculous. they do an event where it is literally impossible to get the item unless you pay. To add insult to injury, when you collect the "event item" you are 1 short unless you purchase a pack. 1 star uninstalled and don't waste your time. the gameplay was actually fun too.. so the fact they did this is extremely disappointing.

Game has great difficulty progression but game mechanics still need some work. Just referencing other comments will give a few examples. As for ads, any ad for a game you already own forcefully redirects you to the game instead of the app store, which then prevents you from returning to your prior game session. I'd recommend removing the ads from game sessions if it can't be fixed; else, implement saving game session progress before every ad. That way, there is at least a workaround for it.

Very entertaining game. My only complaint is that it refuses to save my progress, even after I manually save it. I progressed my profile up to level 11 from level 4 in one session, manually saving after every battle because I had lost progress several times previously. The next time I started the game, I was back to level 4 again. I'd give it a 5 star review except for this issue

it was good for a week, but then hit a pay wall where it seems the game gives you all the gears that are least beneficial, over and over again. I cant progress on any of the 3 difficulties anymore because they want me to spend real money to get further. they seem to think players dont notice this type of thing, but trust me, we notice.

game glitched, lost everything. I played this game for many hours. I've unlocked a lot of stuff and spentoney. The game suddenly began glitching by not coming my consecutive log ins and showing the days as in another language. Then the "deeds" were in the same other language. I saved the game, reinstalled, and everything is gone. when I attempted to recover my stuff, it says I have to log in, there is no further log in button. WARNING, don't get hooked like I did.

the ads which can't be closed, but automatically send you to the game store are horrid. it crashes the level every single time, progress is lost, and the energy is wasted. I spent 2 days trying to finish a single wave, because it keeps crashing. either get rid of these adds, or make it so the damn game saves progress, this is making it completely unplayable 6 weeks later, and nothing changed. it's a good game, but these ads that force you to the game store, and close the game, are horrid.

You have to play a ton of adds to make it anywhere, and now and then the game will restart while watching an add and you will lose all waves completed and have to start back at the beginning of what ever stage you started on and all your time and data ment nothing. The leaving a stage and having to start all over needs to be fixed. I have almost stopped playing a couple of times already and probably will if it keeps doing the same thing.

I was having fun. Loved the style. unique in it's own way. Scaling wasn't bad, and the ads are optional, which is always a fantastic thing. Here's my problem. The endless mode is waaaaay too long, and too many monsters can hit the wall without being anywhere near it. Giving 3 ad heals is fine, but upon coming out of the ad, I was no longer in the run. No rewards. No second chances. That was beyond frustrating, and I probably won't play again until that is fixed.

This is a rather entertaining game. Some levels would be substantially harder without watching voluntary ads, but I have recently noticed the game having a bit of a selective memory. logging out of the game can cause it to forget that you have completed a couple levels, upgraded some troops, or collected some awards. I believe this is related to another issue where it periodically refuses to give you a reward that it offers you when you complete some tasks.

The ads don't automatically trigger from what I've seen. But they need to fix the ads within the game that you trigger, I've been wiped of progress from trying to use an ad for a run to get an extra gear, it's a massive flaw. Not to mention the game doesn't always save, I've leveled up the same troops more than 3 times and it's getting more annoying as I try and progress.

It's a fun game, but when watching ads the game sometimes times out and you have to start the level all over again. I was at round 11 out of 12 of a level and after watching an ad I now have to start the level over. You need a way to save the round you're on so this doesn't keep happening. Once this issue gets fixed I'll give it a better rating.

Fun and entertaining. It is a unique blend of strategy, merging, and combat. Enjoyable so far! EDIT: I changed my rating from 4 stars to just 2 stars because this game is wrought with ads...my goodness. I feel like I'm spending most of my time waiting for the ads to finish so I can enjoy a few minutes of gameplay. The ads have to play in their entirety with no way to skip or buy some kind of Ad-free time. You can buy individual skips but that gets expensive. It really ruins the game for me.
