Gencraft - AI Art Generator

I love the app don't get me wrong. I've been using the app for the past couple of months. but the recent updates that they are doing is messing up on some things. when I'm on the PC I don't have those issues. each time when I'm generating the picture the app (phone) crashes. what I'm trying to look at a picture the app crashes. there has been other users that has been having this similar issue as well. it's been happening either on Android and iPhones.

Absolute Garbage. MAYBE, if you want to edit pictures that already exist it might be ok...? but honestly, it's not even worth the space on your phone when way better apps are available. It doesn't generate even close to what you describe no matter how descriptive you are even after you go back and try and edit it to the most basic of prompts. Seriously, save yourself the time and get something else. Also the fact they even offer "Studio Ghibli style" pisses me off more than it should.

For a subscriber like me, it isn't very pleasant cause most of the stuff I generate or create doesn't look good. Hands are all over the place. 6 fingers or 3 hands. Images look dislocated. The subscription is too expensive, while other apps, which are way better than this, are only $ 9.99, or some are even free. What I expected to come out of what I generated is not what I expected. What a rip-off. And I'm supposed to have 15 posts but all I see is 13 posts. Most of the stuff I generated failed

The images are good depending on what you would like to use the image generation for, but it isn't very easy to get the good results, I recommend finding a good prompt online. The main reason I gave it a 2 star though, is because it couldn't accurately generate what I wanted, and you have to pay for a subscription, then it hides the fact that when you make an AI model, you have to pay to train said model. I recommend using leonardo.ai, I will never come back to this app.

The images are really good quality. One of the best ai generative images apps I've used. However, it doesn't always follow the prompts. My biggest problem though is that it sucks at depicting animals. When putting a wolf in the prompt, for example, it kept generating wolves with 5 legs and 2 tails. Other animals very often came out with two heads. Not sure what is up with that. Hope that can be fixed.

I was hesitant at first about the app, considering all the other apps I've tried, I would have had to pay almost immediately. But, I was surprised with how much I like the app, I think 10 free prompts a today is reasonable, especially considering you get two pictures per generation. I also really like how many styles there are :D If I could, I would probably pay for the subscription. It's only 4 starts because it doesn't always follow the prompt.

I subscribed the premium version as I found it useful. Still there are a few scopes for improvement: 1. There should be a feedback mechanism from the user to tell whether the desired picture, generated from a given prompt, is generated. This feedback may be used for tuning the images from that prompt (reinforcement learning). 2. A feature is required to import more than one model characters (not for blending), to generate images with multiple characters.

I've been really enjoying this app, it's a lot of fun, I have created some really awesome pictures, however, I have been unable to upload a new profile picture and although I've contacted support it hasn't been resolved. Might seem like a small thing but it takes away from the experience somewhat. You can only generate 5 prompts a day for free, £20 a month is a little steep, unless you're using it constantly. All in all, great AI. Does struggle with fingers, though...

I really like this app, the one thing that's really annoying is every time I go to the notifications and tap on the ones where someone commented on my picture and where someone replied to my comment on theirs, it freezes up on me repeatedly, and it would freeze up on me 3 to 5 times.

It's impossible to confirm the subscription, so I can't use it because the app doesn't have any function to confirm it. You should refund me in full or provide a free upgrade so I can actually use the subscription.

Their Images are top of the art when generated as well as there are a large varietys of high top art prompts to choose from. Lastly, I like how they help you phrase your words better.

the new update is horrible and is not user friendly, it will not let me click on the search icon, and there's no button to share the image to another platform anymore.

won't be renewing my subscription, the algorithm deletes my images of beautiful women but allows other users to post images of children, I find this to be utterly irresponsible behaviour, in addition targeting a PG audience with the current algorithm is a completely senseless business model, I guess the developers are performing a public service rather than trying to make money

Quite honestly I think people are getting fed up with their work stolen by like hunters. One look at the daily feed and its just the same prompts spammed over and over again. Theres no real talent on here just bored kids wanting to complete a daily checklist. Then theres spammers that are as bad as loud annoying Minecraft youtubers begging you to join some sketchy little discord community (likely for the purpose of stealing prompts). Update: Notifications now broken 21/01/2016

Im being asked to delete uploads in order to create new models but once I delete them, I get the same message. Shame, as the results are good. email not responded to.

last review was in 2023....it's been a few months since I've used the App but I'm willing to try it again. haven't found another app that I like. Hopefully Gencraft has fixed the issues I had... update soon

This app is really very good compared to other apps but it is not right that the images created by you will be deleted after 30 days.

Edit:New update!! Now we can't even see relevant images of models of image that we are seeing.it is too bad.i hate it . Images are great, but the app keeps getting worse with updates. No image download option, poor notification handling, constant scrolling, weak collection tools, bad profile sorting, no calendar view, and removal of retention period have seriously hurt usability.

with each new update they have quietly removed features. not sure what improvements are being made when the hands are still busted. I always have to import the generated image into another ai to fix the problems left by Gencraft

It's fun creating random pictures, easy too, so I'd say I'd have fun playing this app! :)
