I'm not usually one to complain, especially about games that literally don't affect me or my well being day to day. However, this game is just not enjoyable to spend time on. The games feel setup just right to make you lose most of the time, somehow losing too many coins in the process (even considering multipliers), BUT it also gives you just enough random wins to keep you thinking you can keep winning. I'm am still gonna keep playing to earn credits for WGT golf though. That's why I have it 😂
I really enjoy the game, but it's sooooo expensive if you want to play the fun levels like Wild Jokers. You win coins when you win and lose coins when you lose, but you never win as many coins in a winning game as you lose in a losing game. And buying coins is NOT cheap. And the minimum buy-in keeps changing. Recently, on Wild Jokers, the minimum buy-in was 5000 coins, then 10000, then 20000, then back to 5000, and currently it's 50000. I will be uninstalling because I can't afford to play.
Update! Game still sucks! I win til I get about 5 grand then I go on a losing streak! It's like it's built just to do that so you get nowhere if you don't pay for the game. Ridiculous ways to lose to the computer, not even another human being so you know it's rigged! Don't get me started on a ad every end game that will crash my game almost every single time! I hope one say to find a good rummy app
Was a fun game but I haven't played against an actual person in forever - they are ALL bots. And not surprisingly, you will lose all your coins, pretty quickly, even playing on the cheap tables. They try to get you to pay for more coins, which if you do, and purchase something cheap, like $4.99, everything offered after that will be well beyond, like $15.99, $17.99, etc. So if you do play, NEVER purchase anything, you'll lose quickly and they'll try to get more and more from you. Scam.
The rummy game was pretty fun. The UI is pretty good. Sometimes the reading on the touch is bad. When selecting cards the wrong card will be selected. However, even after paying for no ads, you are inundated with "offers", at every single menu change. I'm having to hit six or seven x's in a row just to get to the menu to select the game to play. There is no recovery if you have bad games and lose all your gold. The only option after free daily gold is to buy gold with real money. No thanks
Seems like my last review was removed, but here goes another 1 star! All I have to say is keep an eye on your coins before AND after a match! They raise their prices all the time, which is whatever at this point, but then every game they take and take and take! Like, isn't it enough for you to raise prices after EVERY purchase? If you buy coins, you will start losing more games.
I really enjoy playing the game. What I don't enjoy is, there is no reasonable way to play for free, unless you want to set an alarm every 4 hours to click on the 450 free coins. Hands of rummy cost 250, 500, 1000, 2500, etc. coins, so 450 is not much, and the multipliers when you lose can make the cost many times higher. I played a 10000 coin table but lost badly, and a 16x multiplier made me lose 160000 coins for that one hand. Now I can't play anymore without buying more coins.
Enjoyed while my coins lasted. The problem is you lose more coins than you win. Even when you win more games than you loose. The math is off. 10000 lost on a game, but I've never won that many. Therefore, there is attrition built in, in an attempt to get the player to spend actual money. At the rate of money exchange in relation to win rate, I'd give this game a pass. It also greyed out areas I enjoyed playing in.
I enjoy the game for the most part however, the coin rewards are way low, and every day I get a notification about the "daily free spin" yet when I go to spin it says it costs $5.99. Also, an "add friend" feature would be awesome, many times I've played against people who I would love to play with again so maybe an add friend button when we click on the opponent.
I've been playing for some time. I've spent more money buying packages than I should have. Ultimately, I think I'll have to uninstall the game because the minimum for me to play any of the "tournaments" is 300,000 tokens. It used to be small amounts and over time the amount to play and the packages have become a bit too much. Back to Grand Harvest Solitaire I go.
I use to love this game. But recently it's impossible to play without having to buy coins which are VERY EXPENSIVE!!! I'm at level 58 and most of the cost is 50,000 coins to play one game. Which is rare because most of the time it costs 100, 000 coins to play. And it would cost me $19.99 to buy enough coins. And if you lose that 1 game you're right back to 0 coins. And they stopped offering free coins for watching an ad so it takes FOREVER to earn enough coins to play!!! Miss playing!!
The graphics and collections was great, but the gameplay was just awful. Glitches and the 'real players' always knew your next move. You have to spend real money to make money, but be aware, the game really cheats you out of your game money real quick because of the 'real players' knowing your move even before you lay down a card. Good time waster, but good money waster. Plus, there isn't a pause button, so, if you need to do something and don't play within a certain time period, you'll lose.
I like the way there are extras to make this more than just playing Rummy, but it is almost unplayable for any period of time if you don't buy coins. I finally took advantage of a couple of sales and built up a bank only to find out that they raise the table limit buy ins to get the special rewards. (bait and switch) Then, when your coins go down, you are still stuck at a higher level of table. Also, not sure why when I buy in at 20k, my coins go down 80k when I lose. Absolutely unplayable now.
This is the worst game ever. The developers are thieves. Don't ever buy tokens because they raise the cost to buy and the cost of tables to some ridiculous amounts. Not only that, when you buy a large amount of coins, they make you lose EVERY game until you run out, thinking you will buy more. Officially Uninstalling this game. You will NEVER get another dime of my money! Lost $1.7 mill in 5 games!!
I enjoy playing gin rummy. This version seems to be very different than others I have played. You loose coins at a rapid rate, and gain at a very slow rate. For example you play a 5000 bet game, win and get 3000 to 5000 in winnings. Then loose a hand with the same wager and by the same amount and loose 40,000. It's wild and can be frustrating. The new thing that has happened is saying your not connected and then taking you coins, I'm done! Don't spend any real money on this app!!!
This game used to be fun. In fact, it was my favorite. Now they are greedy with the coins. Also, if you do spend money to purchase coins, the next time you want to purchase, you have to spend more. And the cost just keeps going up, up, and, up each time. That is SCAMMY AF! Then soon after you buy all of a sudden you just cannot win a single game. I'm talking 12 games in a row losing streak... that is just statistically unlikely. So clearly the developers are CHEATING with code to get more money.
Once you reach level 40, they put an ad after every game so you can't accept a rematch. By the time you get done with the ad and go back the other player is gone! Remove, please! Plus, I agree, they don't give enough coins for you to move up. Also, to the replies about them having players from all over the world with all skill levels...I just want to say, are you kidding? This is a game of chance. If my component calls gin after 1 or 2 pulls it has nothing to do with skill. That happens a lot!!
I have to edit my review. The game seemed great to start, but as other reviewers have said, it's designed to goad you into buying coins. You'll start off quick and build up a huge coin cache and you'll be inclined to play higher levels. But these higher levels come at a catch: win big but also lose big. Just stick to the 250 level - you'll never win big but never lose big and can keep on playing. Probably bots at higher levels who will win big and clean you out in one game.
Fun feature they don't share with you is that you can play at a 1000 buy-in table and lose 8000 if the other person beats you by 40 points. Nothing I love more than losing all my coins on a single game because of a multiplier that I didn't opt in for or know about. Just a way to get you to lose so they can get you to spend money. 0/5 honestly. Edit: Gave it another chance. Unlocked the chests feature and was pushed into a 1000 coin game as part of a tutorial. Lost all my coins. -5/5 is better.
Would give negative stars if it were a possibility!!! This game is a scam and they steal your money. the free coin to how much each round costs is so far off you cant keep up with coins in order to even play. Also, when you make an in app purchase, be ready to lose your coins almost instantly and it WILL be all of them! Then everytime you make a purchase the cost increases for the exact same chance or amount of coins. This game was programed to make you lose so you will spend more money.
