they don't let you change the company you work for. it says you can change it every 90 days, but I haven't used the app in a few years, went to go change it from a very old position, and it refuses to change. I have contacted support and the best they can do is send me an article explaining "just click in the box and start typing" but it's greyed out and locked. just use LinkedIn, it's so much better and a lot less of a headache.

This app genuinely is not helpful. Do it on your computer because it will NOT log you in no matter how many times you sign in. As soon the page for logging in exits out, it immediately signs you out and won't let you apply to the job. The only way to apply for the job? Sign in. Half the time, it just redirects you to Indeed anyways. Save yourself the trouble and don't use it on mobile, or maybe at all.

The very first screen is broken. It asks for my most recent job title and location. Type either in and there is no button to accept. Pressing enter adds a new line. There's no way for me to enter these in properly unless there the app recognizes my job title and location, which it doesn't. My job title isn't uncommon at all (Technical Lead) and it should pick up on the location. Not off to a great start.

Cant even get through the setup. When I get to the "areas you work in" part, there's no option to let me skip or select none. I'm unemployed and have no experience in any of the categories they offer. How does one look for a job when youre required to select an option that doesn't apply to you? Terrible app. If they ever fix it, awesome, but until then that's just stupid.

Not good. Users can't set search radius or choose anything besides a very general search criteria / keyword like "truck driver." Also, the "salary estimates" are outrageously wrong. But it's better than most of the others like "monster" that has almost no job listings. Some features of the app don't work at all like "bowls" whatever that is supposed to be. At least the app starts and you can save job listings, so there's that.

Great information on the website. The app is a mess. It locks up at least half the time and won't load information. Or, it gives an error message that it's updating. This happens several times during the day. Also, you cannot turn off notifications completely. Even though my settings show that I have all notifications off, I still get to notifications every day in the middle of the night! Very aggravating. So, I have to delete.

If so many employers didn't use Glassdoor, I would delete it. I've used it for years and more than 50% of the time, pages don't load, the app crashes, it freezes, etc. Extra frustrating because when it does work it's quite helpful. But I get stressed every time I open it, because more often than not, it's going to be a frustrating experience. Please, please, please do something. Job searches are stressful enough without fighting through app crashes every other day.

NOOOO I spent over an hour filling out the easy app section, and it won't submit!! I keep getting a message that says "There was an error submitting your information, please try again." I haven't left anything off- I tried that, it gives you a different error message! I'm afraid if I close the app I will lose everything!! Also, why is it showing me jobs all over the US when I specifically type within 25 miles of my city?

Downloaded the app and got to see available jobs. Went to check today and it wanted to add information for me. It was fine until it asked where I work. I work for a small company which is not in their list. There's no way to move beyond it if you don't use the prefilled options. I exited in hopes that the additional questions would go away but they appear every time I open the app. So basically, the app is useless to me. Uninstalled it since I can't use it.

I have just begun using the app, and while initially it looked very promising, it has a frustrating glitch. When it alerts you to a new job opening with your criteria, and you click on the job, it absolutely will not load. I've tried multiple times, still no luck. In talking with others who use the app, they report similar problem. Their work around has been to see the name of the company hiring, and ho to their website to further search. Disappointed.

The intention of the service is good, and the desktop site is a great resource, but the app is a disaster. It rarely loads jobs when I click on links from glassdoor emails, and when it dies, it takes SO long. If it manages to do that, you're lucky, but you won't be able to see anything else because nothing else will load. I would never even try to use the app to apply for a job. It would take forever and likely fail.

I already have a profile on the website, but the app simply doesn't work at all. Installed and opened only to be immediately unable to sign in as the app says (your internet is turned off).. clearly it isn't. Also, I used my phone # to sign up and that's not even an option at sign in. Guess I'll go back to Indeed, which is junk, but at least it let's me sign in there without bogus error messages.

If you're only using the app to look up jobs/companies without saving listings, applying, or setting up job alerts then it's fine, otherwise you'll find bugs everywhere. Can't upload resume, app shows expired jobs in the saved section that you cannot remove, can't edit/remove job alerts. I'm normally very forgiving about bugs, I've even personally sent messages about these bugs but over a year later nothing has been fixed. You'll need to use a browser for anything important. Pretty useless.

I uninstalled it after trying to use it for half an hour. The search function doesn't work half the time (just has a spinning icon that never loads). Once you do get to a company's page, and try to click in to a review for more detail, that often won't load either - so you're stuck with summaries of reviews. The options to filter reviews are also unhelpful - there should be ways to filter by keyword (like work-life balance), and options for sorting the reviews by some criterion other than date.

I wanna like this app, but it feels like a bad version of LinkedIn. No pages load unless I search for something. I can't save any jobs, which at this point, a lot look like scams. I can't even mention the filters because there pretty much aren't any and the ones there aren't working anymore as it says 0 jobs no matter what filters. If you're trying to job hunt, stick with Indeed, maybe LinkedIn, and definitely just go straight to the company's website. It'll have a lot of head (and heart) ache.

The platform itself is great, however, they largely failed to make a functional mobile app. It's pretty infuriating to repeatedly enter the same information and get nothing. For example, I tried to edit the dates for my education, and it kept switching back to "presently enrolled". I was eventually forced to switch to a desktop computer, log in, and edit the settings there. This isn't an isolated incident. It also refused to upload my resume from Google drive; I had to download it to my device.

Complete waste of time! Every application I've filled out wasn't accepted. I got error messages upon hitting the submit button, every time. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing happened. I created five different resumes but none of them are under 5mb, the limit for submitting resumes. I was redirected to the website for the business I was applying for and promoted to fill out their application which is always more detailed and requires more work. Talk about frustrating!!!

I like the app itself, but I can't get any profile information to come up. It's been several months now, and I assumed updates and restarting would fix it, but I can't save jobs. The profile comes up blank. It is also the only job app I have so far that doesn't have one of the towns near me when I do a search (it will show me jobs there, but won't come up when I put in location)

Could not get it to download. Every time I go through a web portal to access it, that quick easy app thing freezes up my phone. Only got to apply for one job. Can't even tell if it went through or not. Not worth the effort with all the bugs and glitches. Spent over an hour just to get the one application out. Could have gotten more done pounding the pavement. Complete waste of precious time for the unemployed.

Not a terrible app, but there are a few things that are bad. The apply button relarely, if ever, works. I also get a lot of suggestions outside of my job field. I am in Tech Support, looking for Tech Support jobs. Yet I regularly get suggested gas station customer service positions or insurance customer service positions. Neither fit my skill set or degree.
