if you order multiple items it's more likely something will go wrong with one of them, missing or wrong items. the app started charging "weather fees" randomly, last time I was charged a weather fee after I clicked order which resulted in a very uncomfortable situation with the delivery man. I'm honestly tired of constant additions of fees which are just marketing tricks to make it look like the service is cheaper than it is, because you can't see the total price until you get to the charging.
I was overcharged on a promotional item so I contacted customer service which said they would call me back. Of course they never did and when I messaged them two let days later they said the claim can only be filed on the day of. Really ridiculous service and poorly run. I would also like to add that they make mistakes constantly, on almost every single order products are missing or completely wrong or the complete wrong price. it would be so nice and convenient if it worked but it doesn't.
Do not pay in advance! They take your money, spoil the order and then do not pay back! Very bad experience! Very often items are missing, courier are not cooperative, support is not available. When an item is missing refund is granted, but then when you order again you pay double taxes for delivery and basically your orders are delivered on double delivery fee
I've used Glovo extensively in Rome. The fact that there is no live help or customer support number to call when orders are delayed is ridiculous. When conditions are normal it works fine but otherwise there's simply no way to make alternative arrangements - to either cancel and order after it's been accepted and the app is having difficulty finding riders, or to make any other changes. I'll be canceling my Glovo Prime membership and trying out the completion.
I’m really disappointed. My Glovo order got cancelled twice due to a “technical issue.” I waited a long time each time, and by the time I was notified, it was too late to order from anywhere else. This is not the first time this happens. Very unreliable service and zero respect for the customer’s time. Glovo needs to fix these technical issues and improve communication.
Complete and utter garbage. The buggy app made me think it hadn't processed my payment, then it duplicated the order. When I contacted the customer service chat to ask for a refund, I go through 4 people and they finally tell me that's not possible to go through the refund, even though I had never asked for one before and was a frequent client for years. In my country there isn't even a call center contact them, just e-mail or chat. NOT RECOMMENDED. Gladly there are other options.
Do not order using this unless you are OK with not getting a big part of your order. I ordered a few days ago from Kaufland and 6!!!! of the items were missing and there was no receipt either. I emailed 4 times, it's been 5 days now and I never got any answers or a refund. The interface has also tons of problems, they don't store any info about the emails and complaints, you can't really add any coupons at checkout and the list goes on.
I'm becoming more and more disappointed with this app. Lately all of my orders take well over one hour. I've heard excuses for "there's a bug in the app" or the couriour's GPS isn't working. Today my order for one sandwich was "preparing" for 45 minutes before a couriour started to go to pick it up. It won't arrive for another 25 min and I'm sure my food will be cold. I'll likely be canceling my Glovo prime membership. I will say that their customer service chat is usually pretty helpful.
leaving feedback here because there is no place in the app to leave feedback or raise an issue! I'm shocked by this. There must have been some algorithm change recently because for the last week, the app is very frequently showing 90% of restaurants or supermarkets as "temporarily unavailable for orders". Please take a look at this asap, as it's making our Prime subscription pointless, if we can never order when we want, at times that we know for sure the stores are open.
Scam company, they stole my money. The prime subscription renews automatically without warning. I reached out to customer service in less than a min to unsubscribe and refund, but was told no refunds. Orders are often quite slow. Several minutes after you place an order, the app timer will reset to zero and show as if you just placed the order. Also, now you cannot track the driver when they are picking up the order.
This app is faulty is some unfortunate ways. I ordered food from a restaurant that said they don't have the food anymore. But I had already paid because that's how you order. I called Glovo and they said they'll refund me that money, fast forward, days apart I made three phone calls in and they still kept promising the same thing. I lost my money, went hungry and the point was made, that no one cares from this app. I'm about to delete it and find a more reliable app. 🤷🏿♀️
The reason I ordered were certain items, which they didnt have. So instead of then allowing me to change (different type of apples, and potatoes for example), they just didnt send it at all. They didnt charge me for those, but I would have wanted a different kind instead...i tried calling multiple times, no answer. I had already paid the 15% tip online to the courier for the original order, it kept the amount, which now was almost 25%. Never again! Way expensive for items that I didnt need!
Buggy and doesn't seem safe when you're trying to add a card as a payment option, I don't feel comfortable using the app because of that. Besides that, the fees are insane, it doubles your price sometimes if you're ordering for one. Also, a lot of restaurants have 15-20% higher prices on the app than their regular prices, which is just ridiculous, maybe even illegal.
Ordered and was given a time, which was then put off 10-15 at a time FOR 2½ HOURS! Then, when that place and EVERY other place in the area was closed, they finally said they couldn't deliver it. So, nothing to eat and all the time to do something else frittered away by little lies. Offered 4€ compensation within the app, but I won't be using it again, so whatever.
Literally the worst app ever. You can wait for hours before even finding out the restaurant doesn't have your order & being asked to cancel. You can not cancel or modify orders in the app. As a pregnant woman sometimes glovo has been my only food option, time & time again I have been made to wait only to be disappointed. Do not download this app. No matter the inconvenience you're better off going to get your own food.

For two months the app was great, until it decided that the card I'd been using the entire time was bad for some reason, and stopped accepting orders. Called my bank and they confirmed there were no holds on my card, so it was all Glovo. Support couldn't help. That was it! No solution, no help. Just a worthless app. To be clear, similar apps worked just fine. What idiots.
The app itself is good. Unfortunately the bad review is because of them being scummy. I canceled my Glovo Prime subscription. Went back to the page to see if it's canceled and I accidentally fat fingered the "resubscribe" button. No question, no confirmation, no authorization prompt from neither the app or my bank. They just took my money. When I contacted support I was told twice "sorry, no refunds" in the form of a longer message of course. Add a confirmation button, it's REALLY not that hard
I had an issue where some items were from another order (could also tell from the stickers with the number of the order) and it's very hard to read customer service. There's NO ONE online to talk directly to - I had to submit a few times a 'case' in order to have a chat and even after waiting a few hours, no one took my case. I had some previous issues with this, but after also getting an unsealed package it feels like the last straw.
Everything's great until something goes wrong with your order. I ordered a McDonald's meal, and they forgot the main dish. I asked for a refund, gave them all the info, and got back 10% of the missing dish's cost, wow. I called support, and they said that's the most they could do and promised to pay extra attention to my future orders. Yeah, a personal order checker, for some reason I really doubt it. This refund situation left a really negative impression.
I forgot to put cash as payment method before confirming my order and now the app is stuck on waiting for me to make a transfer. It's been over 20mins now and I can't do anything else because the app is still waiting to receive payment I have not made. I can't even go back to change payment method. Also, we still can't make two different orders. There should be a way that I can place two orders from different restaurants on the app
