This used to be such a helpful app but over the years it's become unusable. There are CONSTANT invasive popup ads and now it's almost completely geared toward fertility. Even when you select the option that you're only interested in period tracking all the fertility trackers and such are still there. The interface has become so muddled and hard to decipher. Look elsewhere unless you want to constantly be annoyed by them trying to get your money.
I used to love this app and have been using it to track for 9 years, but it went from being easy to read and understand, warm colors and a good vibe to sterile, unclear and a bombardment of info with ads. It feels like going into a doctor's office app to find your next appointment in a calendar that used to be the very first thing you saw when you opened it and told you how many days away you were/what phase. If I didn't have nearly 10 years of data on it I'd switch by now.
I used to absolutely love this app, but since they switched the design maybe a year or so ago, it's lost a LOT of functionality for me and I'm really sad I spent money on a lifetime membership now. Not being able to add notes with my symptoms anymore is such a huge loss, and they've taken away several of the symptoms Eve used to include that I really valued being able to track. The new version of the app is really disappointing and makes it really hard to actually track some key symptoms now.
Been using it for years, however for the last 3-4 month when I put in my period start date it doesn't save. I often have to put in multiple times Edit- it's gone even more downhill, from 3 pop-ups just opening to the now disorganized period view and the constant pressing to pay stupid amount for "premium" i can't use this app anymore. It's been my period tracker for years! *edit-now its integrated and I cant even log in. its worthless. have used this app for a decade at least, and now cant
I bought the lifetime membership before their big update. Now, it's cluttered with ads and unnecessary content. The UX is completely unfriendly, and it constantly pushes for you to buy more of its products. Edit: I don't think you know what ads mean. Your internal product pushes ARE ads. Constant pop-ups telling us to buy stuff ARE ads. Fix your UX, or you'll lose more customers. I've grown so tired of it that I'm starting to transfer my data to another app. Once that's done, Eve is deleted.
I used to love this app. I've been using this app for years and it's so upsetting that I'm being forced to go elsewhere. I didn't like the last software update; it definitely made the user interface more complicated. I also had to put up with the incessant adds and sales pitches. But this is the final straw! With the most recent software update, it won't load the new format past 98%. I've lost all of my historical data and now it's useless. Uninstalling and reinstalling does NOT work!
I originally got the app to track my irregular periods for my doctor. I don't want kids, nor could I have them even if I did. Now it feels like getting pregnant & having kids is being shoved down my throat at every turn constantly. Super sketchy. I don't want to be constantly reminded of the fact that I cannot conceive. This app was so good; I even bought the lifetime membership way back in 2017. I will be going to a new app, or even just a calendar & pen from this point forward. Ridiculous.
Too many pop ups that get in the way before you can even track your period. I have used this app for such a long time, I think it's finally time to change. The UI is not intuitive, there is so much extra fluff that isn't needed. And this app constantly adds pop ups for you to purchase their premium. Doing a simple thing like logging in to check my period and log one is annoying. I keep having an issue where I log my period, then come back to find that it's not even there! So what's the point. 🤷
I've used this app since 2018 to only track my irregular cycle. Now I am constantly bombarded with fertility pop ups and adds to purchase a premium membership for $35. Read all the other long time users and you'll find a string of 1 star reviews saying the same. You also can only export your data in PDF, making it impossible to import into another app. I've switched to Period Calendar. It has all the features that used to make Eve great. Best of all, it's free with no annoying pop ups ads.
I have been using Eve for many years then all of a sudden it integrated with glow. I lost all my data. They didn't send out an email stating this was going to happen or anything. I logged in to track my period and it told me I had to upgrade, which then takes you to a blank screen. This was a bad move on y'all's part. It was a wonderful app as it was. Good job, y'all lost a long time customer.
I've been using it for years and it had a lot of my health data in it. More features used to be available without having to pay extra for a premium subscription. Only a few features were exclusive to a premium upgrade. One day, most of the features became premium only. I was annoyed but dealt with it because it was still a decent tracker app. But now, every time I log in, I'm being prompted to merge w/ Glow & forced to select a premium upgrade & pay in order to log in at all. I'll find another.
Can't turn off wishlist or product recommendations. I paid for the premium service and I still get ads. If I turn on push notifications for my period I also get push notifications for ads and there is no way to turn them off. I've contacted support multiple times and they said it can't be turned off. Since the app doesn't actually do the only thing I need (notify of my period) it's a useless app that I paid way too much for. Don't download this pos tracker. Get Flo, it's way better.
After the update that seamlessly connects to glow my app isn't working. I opened it to check my period calendar and it gave me the upgrade message. I went through it all repeatedly. Every time I got to the end the app got stuck on a white screen. I can't access the app because something in the update is making it freeze up. Please fix this. I paid a lot of money for full access to all apps.
The "day x of period" notifs are irritating, but there is no way to turn them off- unless you turn off all notifications. But then I wouldn't get notified of when my period is about to start. When you open the app you're bombarded with how much Glow is on sale for that week- then another page about making a wishlist or something. Aside from the fact that it never let you see what your possible symptoms might be unless you buy Glow. I've been on this app since I was 14... I'm tired of it all.
I like the app, for its basic needs. I do not like that they ask you to try a trial offer, then get you by surprise with a 47.99 charge to your bank account for a subscription fee for something I didnt enjoy in the first place. if you want a basic period tracking app, this is not it. if they would have notified me the trial was over and asked for payment to continue subscription like other services do, I'd like it. but being surprised by so much taken from me with no ok. I'll pass
I've always been bad at keeping track of my period--not that it's difficult, but I always forget. Not only does it help me track my period, but based on when my latest or current period started, it can guess when my current one will end (so far, it has been accurate!) and when my next one will start, as well as things like when I'm most fertile, etc. That doesn't interest me but will interest those trying for that! There is a community on there as well, with multiple groups, including LGBT groups for those who are lesbians or trans men (lesbian here 😄) I mostly use the calender function and not much else 😅 It works great, and is easy to navigate. Recommend!
I am so upset right now with Eve and glow. All of my cycle information since 2018 is deleted with this "upgrade". I have been using this app for so long and all that information is just gone. It was more then just a period tracker. It was a calendar for when I had my miscarriage, a visible view of my pregnancy and post partem journey. It's all gone and I am so upset. Do better Glow/Eve. I might be looking for a new tracker app after this.
I've used this app for a long time, and it's just gotten worse with every update. I just deleted my account when I realized they have been pretending to be me and posting results to disgusting and inappropriate quizzes I never took. I didn't see it because I didn't ever look at any page other than the calendar. Check your profile! It seems like it does it for all accounts. I didn't want a profile or a place to post. I only wanted the tracker and calendar but that is even impossible to use now.
The update took away everything I used and wanted from the app. Now, all it does is push ovulation tests and ads. No more easy to use tracker. No more customizable usage. Only use this app if you want the privilege of being spammed with advertisements for TTC aids. I get so many notifications that I can't turn off. It's sad I have to get rid of something I used for so long. Would give zero stars if I could.
I have been using glow for over 10 years however I believe it's time for a change because all they want is to get me to subscribe. Everything I click on a pop up box appears wanting me to subscribe. I can't see all the information that I used to. So unfortunately I will use an app that isn't filled with pop ups trying to force me into a subscription.
