GO Launcher -Themes&Wallpapers

I had to jump through a lot of confusing hoops to even get to the page that had the themes. Most of them didn't load a preview, but the ones that did were ugly. It's the type of art style that appeals to conservative grandparents from Florida. It forced me to select a background that it immediately applied without my permission, and would not let me back out of the app. BE CAREFUL!!! THIS APP IS MALICIOUS!!!

As far as launchers go, this one WAS almost perfect. I stopped using it a few years ago, switched to Buzz, decided to go back to it today 02-15-2019 and it won't open without a subscription. It used to be pay one price. I'm pretty sure I paid for it way back when, but now they want to extract more money from me. Screw that, That's just greedy. I know my review says one 🌟, but if i could give it zero, I would. There are many others that won't try to rip you off.

This used to be the only launcher I would ever consider using. Customization was amazing. I couldn't say enough good about it. Now....EVERYTHING has changed. Somehow I believe this company has been taken over by pirates. Reading lots of other's reviews it sounds as if they basically take your phone hostage and all the contents with it if you do not pay their extortionate fee of $100.00/ year. How can Google allow this to continue? I am uninstalling all of their products!!

Used to be a 6 star app. Declined. Recent Update screwed up something severely. Not sure what kind of glitch, but I'll have to switch to another launcher in the mean time. WHEN you guys fix this issue (several of my important apps dissappeared), please inform us, as I am sure that myself and plenty of others love this launcher, and would love to have it back in worrking order. So creative and fun. A little addicting because there's so many options! EDIT: 3 years later in 2020 I still have it but there's an annoying pop up that tries to get you do monthly payments or a three day trial and it won't go away unless I restart my phone. I can't access any other apps unless I go to the recent or open tool bar. If I press the back button nothing happens. If I press home it goes to my homepage for half a second and then the ad pops up again. It's VERY annoying. So 3 *** now

1/2020-Edit: trying on new phone years later and it's now junk. try and install and you quickly reach a point where you can NOT go on with install unless you give them credit card info and either pay or sign up to pay after 3 weeks. It's now junk software. Too bad. I really liked it in the past. End Edit....Title says it all. Fast, clean, and of looks awesome. Very well done indeed.

I wanted to give this app a chance since I like go sms, the themes always look so cool. This app is very pretty, the icons are very pretty, and the app drawer is more or less sorted the way I wanted, cool thing is you can put a folder in the app drawer. The thing is with this app you have to pay to use it yearly when you could get a decent launcher only paying once. I'm not sure about the paid version I only did the 3 day trial it offer upon installation, but it comes loaded with a ton of what seems like silly games, maybe more for kids, seems like bloatware. There isn't any option to remove the tool bar from the bottom of the app drawer for a simpler look.

I've used this forever and always loved it, but since the last software update to my phone, it's not working properly. I have the Samsung Note 10+ and it was fine at first, but since then, at least 50% of the time that I exit an app, it will go to my wallpaper and freeze, all icons and clock and pages are missing. In order to get my GoLauncher back, I've discovered I can lock my screen, then unlock it and wait for the force close option, then reset Go as my default. Pls fix, it's getting old!!

A lot better UI as the original from the phone! Update - 6/17/2022 For over 8 years and 10 phones I gladly paid for the prime version. All of the sudden it deleted all my icons and a way to access any of my apps. Uninstalled and all the apps came back. So sad, but will have to cancel subscription and go a to a different launcher. Unless it gets fixed, there's no point to this launcher.

The most recent update is trash. For some reason, it is now hiding 80% of my apps. I used to have 5 or 6 pages of apps, but now I have less than a page and a half. When I go into my settings, my apps are still there, but I have to launch them from there. Something very wrong happened in this update, and I've uninstalled Go Launcher in order to get back easy access to my apps. (they show up just fine with Go Launcher uninstalled)

I have used this launcher app for a while but recently it has been very inconvenient and annoying. About 4-6 months ago it updated and I was inundated with adds to subscribe to the premium version. They went away after a little while, but with the latest update I have been bombarded continuously. I tried to make it go away by choosing the free 3 day option and then canceled later but they changed me for a years subscription. Will not recommend in the future.

Too many ads. In the middle of writing a text message I'll be cut off by an ad. There's a widget that always stays on my screen, in front of whatever I'm doing. I checked settings I can only move it to the right or left corner, either up or down, and can make it transparent or visible. Constantly clicking on it while browsing online and it's extremely annoying. The only I reason I keep Go launcher and Go SMS is because I like the 10 second delay for text messages. When another messaging system has it I'll drop this. Ridiculously frustrating that they want people to buy "Ad Free" so badly that they would bombard them with ads every 10 minutes of being online. I timed it.

Used to use this all the time. Today I could not get to my home screen without being forced to choose a subscription plan. Really sad, too, because I downloaded this years ago and had really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can re-install someday. Edit: there is a little white x up in the left corner that lets you click out of this ad, and then in the go settings you can turn off notifications from the app.

Been here since the beginning. After years of loving this launcher, it's just horrible now. So many ads! First they started with ads just on the home screen, now there's ads even when I'm on my apps. I'm traveling and was using my GPS today and literally every few minutes it came over my screen resulting in me having to reopen my gps throughout my entire trip. That isn't just inconvenient but also unsafe while driving. Absolutely terrible.

Like many others, I received an error message that forced me to either repeatedly restart or reinstall the app. I reinstalled and was forced to either pay $100 annually or go elsewhere. I'm outraged! The ads were already unbearable, and now this?!? This is absolutely horrible. I've used go launcher for years and this is just wrong. I've uninstalled everything by this developer, I want nothing to do with them and don't think anyone else should either.

Fantastic job! My favorite launcher by far. Thank you. I am changing my rating from a 5 down to a 3. I absolutely love ALL the GO products. I just feel the monthly/yearly subscription price is way to steep for me. I am disabled and have a very sick child. I don't want pity or a handout. I just wish it were more affordable. I started using this product years ago and I miss it terribly now. The products themselves are truly remarkable.

Used Go launcher Prime for years & loved it! Just changed to a monthly subscription fee which isn't where my frustration lies. I'm upset with the underhanded method used. Without notice: app "crashed" forcing an uninstall/reinstall. Upon reinstall: you must choose a plan. You get a free 3 day trial: be certain you cancel if you don't want to be charged $95.00 fee. The kicker: even though you previously paid for prime membership, all your settings are gone so you can't even import them into a new launcher.

I had already paid for this app to be ad free and all themes free. After upgrading to new phones, it no longer gives me all that I paid for. Can't even pay the $7.99/mo. Only gives option to pay the outrageous almost $100/yr. Ridiculous and a rip off anymore. No longer a loyal user of this app. Very disappointing considering I've used it and loved it for so long. Can't believe you guys went this way. Everyone's complaining & you don't even seem to care. Real good move guys!

I was charged for this app ($94.99) and do not even use it! I have sent several emails in ragards to a refund for this unauthorized transaction and still after 2 weeks have not gotten a response back. So I have resorted into writing a review in hopes that someone will contact me!! There's no phone number to contact or I would! It would be really nice for someone to contact me regarding this issue!!!!

This was my review years ago. The app has gone in the toilet. The themes have not changed, there is an icon problem and a few other things here and there. It seems they don't care anymore and are ready to bounce.. I revoke my stars.... (I don't want to go to any other launcher. There are a few little things here and there but yeah my icons are back. I knew if I just hung in there. It would be resolved toot sweet :)
