I really love this game don't get me wrong, but I recently switched to a new phone, which is the moto G 2026, and I deal with long loading times. I was doing Interception, and it took 2 minutes to wait for the mission cleared screen, only for it to be disconnected from server. I had to restart the game and cleared cache and while I did finish, it still took awhile. It's very frustrating and even on the lowest settings and whether I'm on WiFi or data, no changes. I hope the game improves soon...
I'm surprised how good this is. It's a mobile game. In app purchase prices are kind of high. But it's easy to roll along without spending a dime and build up over time. So much stuff to do, a surprisingly deep story. I love the action gameplay, the characters are endearing, and even the weird exploration puzzles of the Lost Sector provide variety. Always updating, always new events that reward generous upgrade materials and expand the lore or a character in ways big and small. Great game!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this game! It's art style is amazing, as well as it's story! BUT, there's this one issue I keep running into as of late (which gets fixed when I uninstall and reinstall it, but I REALLY don't wanna do that EVERY time I wanna play it): I keep getting a "System Error" message whenever I load up the game and try connecting to the/my server! Can SOMEONE please fix this issue? (I've also restarted my device along with reinstalling it, but I shouldn't have to every time I load it up)
this is, above all else a gooner game. it knows it. it's proud of it you won't like it if you don't want that. Gameplay decent enough on its own, heavy on reflex requirement: on your phone, you're going to auto play, mostly. graphics are great. character models have amazing detail in menus and combat. monetization is among the worst I've seen, made worse by horrible balance. a small number of units are viable, and they are 1 in 1000 to pull at best.
Short review, the game quality is very high which I wasn't expecting. The animations are well done and events have a lot of fun content. If you like Sci-fi settings, give it a shot! Edit 1/29/2026 Almost 2 years later, I'm still playing NIKKE daily. I really enjoy the game as a whole, and improving my units bit by bit over time is very enjoyable.
Solid art direction, but the gameplay loop is lacking. if this were a game like War Hammer 40k Tacticus, and a tactical game, I'd be better. However, "just hold down your finger and move it about the screen" is a very weak combat loop. every other mode, but arena is the same thing. Character leveling, bond system, the gotcha mechanics, most everything beyond combat is solid for a mobile gatcha game. a lot more than things like Raid and what have you. But the combat makes a 2/5.
Drawn in by booty, staying for the story. I've never played a gacha before and heard they were quite sparse with freebies. I've been playing for about 6 months now, and have gotten pretty far playing as a F2P. Collecting is fun but not too much of a timesink, which is perfect for me as I wanted a less demanding type of game. The art is beautiful of course, and there's plenty of events to supply players as well as an in-game social media for participating in the community. It's really nice.
I've been playing this game for over a year now and it's casual idle gameplay is what keeps me coming back. The story is pretty good, the animation is a bit inconsistent but decent, and gameplay is fun. I'd say it's about pg13, so not really too adult oriented with some violent themes/violence. The pull rates are somewhat generous with enough to keep you entertained.
It is nice to see an arcade shooter like wild guns thrive in modern gaming. 2 stars because after a bug fix update I lost all my progress, just gone. no cleared cache, no warning event exclusive units gone. this is a persistent problem the community recognizes, especially on NA and GLOBAL servers. Don't give this game your money if all your progress is randomly at risk.
it's great fun until you hit an enormous constant increasing power gap. if you're lower than the enemies even a small bit, it's going to wall you especially at the beginning when you don't have a huge roster. the enemies scale up insanely fast (i mean like a 20 percent increase in the same level. one enemy may be 15000cp and the very next enemy right behind it is 17000. in this game, that is huge and practically unbeatable). this is a sign on and do maybe 2 missions a day. you can't do more
Amazing! Stunning visuals! Fun gameplay. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed a mobile game. Definitely here to play more of it. I expect great things. Edit: Okay going almost 3 years now and I've gotta say the devs do listen to their audience and the game is actively being filled with new content and story. Update: Ever since the backlash with the controversy with CN, I believe the quality of global server contents have improved, but it's still not on par of what we see in the CN server.
Playing since release and is still playing. So if you want the short story, the game is definitely good and yes, totally Free to Play Friendly. Long Story; The game is visually attractive but the story is where it'll grab you the most. It has such lovable characters and you WILL be caring for some of them. Everyone's personality is different and the voice acting is next level. Lastly, the music is absolutely top notch, because of this, you will experience some of the most epic combat.
Its a great game, great graphics, and wonderful story. Charters are interesting and fun to collect. I think the leveling is kinda rough especially once you reach lvl 200. The camera seems a little tilted(on mobile)like your looking from the ground . Which makes seeing enemies hard sometimes. I recommend this game to all, though playing on PC is the better way.
The game added quite a few QoL features that had been requested for ages recently. Its easier to run through dailies and collect rewards. The game has kept delivering with the story and character content. The recent 3rd anniversary was an insane way to end the prologue of the game. The writing for the the game whether happy, tragic or in-between always hits. Much more to the game then what you see on the surface. Would definitely recommend playing the tutorial to anyone, that's what hooked me.
The game itself is pretty good. The character models are fun and the characters are enjoyable. I just have a few gripes regarding the number of pulls you end up getting... there's just not enough free banner pulls, and the price to buy them is prohibitively expensive and not worth it given the odds of paying to get nothing. Would be nice if they added some ways to earn more free event banner pulls in game.
It's a fun game. Don't get me wrong. But I've been having issues with the game after completing the first chapter. I can't level up units to tackle higher difficulties, I can't progress in the campaign because the party does not move where I click, and I receive a message when I start, telling me to go to the Deputy Room. But when I do, it's not available. I have tried clearing my cache, uninstalling, and re-installing the game (3 times now), and it is still having these issues.
Pretty fun game, I find myself playing it daily. I feel like it's held back a bit by its gatcha system, it can get a bit grindy rhe first few days, but I wouldn't say it is unfair. I managed to pull a good roster of characters in the first few days. And yes, they actually have jiggle physics (the ads didn't lie to you) and wait, there's actually a fun game too! If you're looking for jiggly girls and guns look no further
Game is pretty good overall. Decent story, art, and music. Where it falls off quite hard is leveling your Nikke. You are SUPER limited in grinding mats to level. I often find myself hopping on for dailies/weeklies, then I get off until the next daily reset if I don't have story content to run. I'm willing to be this is mostly due to the lack of a stamina system. If they didn't gate like that you could blow through the content. It just doesn't feel great.
Visually stunning, unique gameplay and many different characters....but.... Game suffers from so many bugs and glitches, it makes it unplayable at the moments. Majority of the characters are of the highest rarity, with abysmally low drop chance. Game is really stingy with daily/weekly rewards unless you pay to get extra. And they ask a lot of money for being a new game. This game by far has the most pay options than any other game I played, and it will be it's downfall, unless they change it.
The game has a great story as well as an amazing ost. Would love to rate it higher but the game is still riddled with bugs and questionable design choices. Manufacturer molds being a 50/50 for an SSR while being a finite resource. There are also characters who seem arbitrarily covered up for some reason. Would love to rate it higher if not for these problems I have.
