Golf Rival - Multiplayer Game

This game clearly has enough players to face you at your highest level, but sends out bots to beat you. Explain to me how someone can play 6 games in Kingdom with a 0% win rate but still have a title. Explain how someone can only play 170 games with a 75% win rate and be all the way to level 10... I used to play this game years and years ago. It was fun playing again, but now I see why I uninstalled. They do literally whatever they can in order for you to open up your wallet. Not happening ✌️

I first reviewed this game in 2019. It had glitches back then. Most of the glitches are gone. My rating of it does not improve, however. I would give it negative stars now. The game play is completely unrealistic. Holes are ludicrously long and rather than starting from the tee box you might start in the rough, on the fairway, or in a bunker. Plus, the developers have gotten greedy trying to charge outrageous amounts for upgraded clubs and balls. I recommend Ultimate Golf for realistic play.

Definitely a PTW game. There's so many signs that they want you to spend money. If you don't spend money to buy gems or purchase the "deals" then you're not getting to far in this game. There's a lot of inconsistents that shows the problems. The dice roll mini game and the shot accuratesy are the biggest 2. In the dice roll you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting a multiplayer. Sounds good until you notice that you land on on them 70% of the times. Which cost gems to get. Which cost money.

I was enjoying the game until the past couple of days when I go to shoot then all of a sudden it says reconnecting... and when it is done my turn is up. hard to win a game that way. also hard when you are on the green 5 inches from pin and it kicks u back to the fairway for your next shot... guess the other guy has spent more money than I have in the game. UPDATE: I guess the glitch has been fixed because I have not had it trying to"reconnect" lately. game play has been a lot smoother.

Very much a PAY2WIN game. Not so much at lower levels, but later, on twisty fairways, he who bought all the power-ups, wins. Also, when you have a chance to advance, they pit you against a player 5-8 (or more) levels higher. The game is fun, but NOT fair. I am becoming increasingly suspicious, that there is some tier-based? system in which players who DON'T pay suffer the "worst luck." Convince me I'm wrong. Also, you can't actually chat with other players in-game. Cant have notes compared!

Can be fun, as long as you accept that you're in a lot of rigged matches. For example, every time I work my way up to double trophies, the first match is always someone who does impossible things. For example, the last match in this scenario the guy was aimed left of the pin by far off the green, the wind was blowing 10' left, and he hit the bar pretty significantly to the left, and he ended up, you guessed it center green, for reasons no one could ever figure out if they tried.

This game would be a lot more fun if the shot time was longer for holes you have never played before. It's way too short, and if your signal lags at all, your turn is over. One stroke down before you even swing. Please fix this! Otherwise, it's a very fun game. Late edit, maybe actually enable a keyboard in your in game "chat" option!

shots to the cup in the ace open, which should be easy, are so far off its obviously something wrong with the game, because it's definately Not the players. This absolutely needs to be Fixed! Also, I've been waiting 2 years to upgrade my clubs enough so i can compete and actually win some games in the kingdom. But my clubs are never at the level i need them to be! If players clubs are not level 8 or higher their shots to the cup will miss every single time!!! This too needs to be fixed!!!

game play is redundant and doesn't value your time enough. Also there's no way to earn chances at better upgrades and only seems only care at how much they can make off of each person via ads or money spent in game and advancing is slowed down to what each player contributes. Game play is fun to some degree but can be potentially better for a lot of players.

if I could give it less than zero I would.. I've been playing it for years and spent a bunch of money to collect a bunch of different clubs.. however, if you do not pay, you are not advancing.. once you see the difference between paying and not paying, it's so painfully obvious and these people's greed is displayed in the difference.. save yourself the hassle and the frustration and don't bother.. uninstalled..

When I first started the game I really enjoyed it. That is until I realized that you have to spend money to move up in the game. Customer service is by far the worst of any app I have dealt with, starting with Jonah. I spent $16.23 on a pass where you can get 2 prizes instead of 1 as you progress. They don't tell you the season lasts 28 days to newcomers, and if you ask questions you get answers too late when they "Understand your frustration", but don't work with customers. STAY AWAY FROM GAME

I'm very dissapointed. I payed the game a while back and loved it(Spent a lot of money on it too). Started playing again recently and was excited,until I used revu for(the first time) and purchased products from qualified retailer,only to be denied reward a month later. I don't mind paying good money for entertainment,but I will not be cheated. I will no longer use any of your company/ software designers products,or any that utilize revu. Thank you.

I've been playing this game for a couple years and it's so wrong. Random players with insane clubs. people making completely crazy shots that work out perfectly. it's a LOT of fun in the early levels and the mechanics work the they should. this is not a simulator, it's just fun. but eventually the game forces you to buy stuff so you have any chance at all. a lot of stuff. and it isn't cheap. and you still get to play completely fake players and lose.

Pace of the entire game is absurdly slow. Takes way too long to play matches, then you get multiple pop-ups after every one. The course design is very poor and repetitive. Difficulty just comes from sticking trees/hills/buildings in your way. Lots of holes will have multiple possible routes but only one is actually viable, so everyone just makes the same shots and the match is decided on a tiebreaker. Opponents (likely bots) seem to conveniently be able to ignore wind when needed. Just not fun.

Sad to see phony ads nothing like actual gameplay. Because overall it's a good, addictive, challenging game. You can spend way too much money, but can still be fun without doing so. Pros: Nice variety of tougher courses as your skill level increases. Opponents are not pushovers, nor super golf studs. Several side games with different challenges and rewards. Support usually very responsive and usually helpful. Cons: No practice courses! Only minimal explanations! YouTube's your friend.

This game was extremely frustrating upsetting for me to play After a certain point it felt next to impossible like there's just no way to advance past level 12 without spending money or extra time that I don't have to be on the phone I've even gone backwards in this game several times I gave up. When I would be playing I had certain moves on lock. It seemed like certain people could cheat. I should have been able to make some of the shots I had. It felt like it was somehow intercepted.

very misleading!! shows 3 players and each round a lower falls through a hole or platform. game is nothing at all what the ad shows. in fact I'm not even sure there's a side or mini game like the ad shows the main game to be. completely false advertising!!! for that 2 stars!!!! otherwise if you want a run of the mill golf game, this is it. overall for the actual game not thw advert..... I'd give it 3 maybe 4 stars.

Golf Rival has become insanely ridiculous with the extra games to get you to make purchases. I was completely fine with making league, tournament, and basic upgrade purchases. One could get plenty of great add ons with the basic buys to play and move up. However, the golf cart and mini golf games are a complete joke. The screen is so overloaded with extra stuff to buy to move up and get upgrades that it's just plain annoying. I'll come back when the format from 2 years ago comes back.

I had played this game several months ago and loved it. Now, it has gone severely downhill in functionality. There are times that you lose your turn after you have already launched your ball. This happens numerous times. Another issue is that the ball goes nowhere near where it was aimed to go. This does not happen until level 7 and up. Another huge issue is that I lost all progress from what I had played months ago. The game save(s) files are still on my phone, so why do I have to start over?

I enjoy the graphics and the actual play. The only problem is, like so many other games that are free apps, it is a total rip off if you do not spend money in the app. It seems as though you are relatively even with your opponent, but the exact same shot from both of you yields drastically different results. Recommended if you don't mind always losing. So, now apparently they are having constant connection interruptions during or after a swing, resulting in loss of turn. That is not fun!
