I paid for the premium mainly to use with my Samsung Pro5 but the 2 apps were never in sync. Scores don't save. 2 separate games going on. Phone was never on the right hole. I always had to manually browse to get to the hole and the holes were not in number order. It went 1 to 9 then second part 1 to 9. Field to enter score is so tiny you barely see the number. I pay for premium and see an ad each time I launch and it's not even in English. Just played a round and score is lost. I want a refund!

This is the app that comes on the Active 2 golf model. It does give yardages to front middle and back, when compared to laser range finder it is not always accurate. One big con for me is if I play the back 9 first, I have to completely exit the current round and start from the beginning for the front 9. It aslo doesn't automatically start the back nine. You have to click on several tabs to accomplish his. All in all my old garmin golf gps worked much easier and better. Disappointing.

Not great. The latest update (June 2023) the app can't track scores, or even shots. Unless you land on the fairway every time it's almost useless except a general range finder. I used to love it. Now I'm open to suggestions for a new app. It crashes if you try to zoo. In on an area. If fails at the basic necessities for a golf app. Moving on with my life.

THIS app was working great for over a year. Suddenly, back in April I went to activate it for a course I've played many times and got nothing ! It won't activate and work using GPS ... and dit won't bring up the map of the course. it says, "go to the tee box" when I turn it on, but it remains a white screen. I currently WAS using it with my Galaxy 20+, but suddenly, it stopped accessing the courses I've played often in the past. What happened with the latest update?

The UI is lacking a lot. I paid the $40 membership and I don't feel like I have gotten my money's worth with its analyzing tools since there aren't many or are extremely basic that other free apps will give you, some with more detailed information than this one. For it to have a partnership with Samsung I expected a more complete app. Golfzon shows a very different UI on their website than what you actually get when you download it. Wish I had more space to explain everything that is wrong.

Change isn't good. When it went from golf buddy to smart caddie the app seems to mess up the scoring on my watch quite a bit and not record it. I also noticed that when I played a round d of golf and loaded the course the course and the score card didn't come close to matching. I went back several times to make sure I had the correct course loaded which I did and it was completely wrong. Not liking the change. This app is getting worse every time I use it. Locks up and tries to start over.

I can see the benefit of the app and love my watch, but it just won't connect the golf buddy W12 watch to this app, which is highly frustrating, as is the reason I bought the watch. The app only offers devices Aim L20 and GB voice XL.. neither are the W12 device I am needing to pair via Bluetooth.. what's the point..

Don't understand all the bad reviews! Used it for a round today and it's great, it's actually very accurate which surprised me, didn't need my rangefinder which I normally depend on. It let me down on one shot only, I think the GPS lost signal and gave me a green 35 yards short, but that was one shot only, and signal strength isn't really the app or developers fault. Just the score counter function would be useful for a lot of people. Will very much consider buying the one year membership 👍🏻

I was super impressed with the Smart Caddie app on my Galaxy watch (during the trial period). Once I paid for a year subscription, the app has now just lost all the features, basically just gives you the distance, but it doesnt allow me to enter my score anymore. When I chose to move to back 9, because I was only playing the back 9, it gave me the incorrect pars and strokes... I am disappointed as the trial was perfect and very impressive... it's very deceiving!!

So, tried to use one of my 3 free trial rounds but it stopped after 9 holes and wanted me to use another trial round. Bit of a con as a round is 18 holes. I wasn't really fully convinced after 9 holes and was not prepared to use another"round" on the back 9. Why is the round split into 2? I'm not bothered about"plays like" as i can guess that pretty well. The app isn't great, takes a while to catch up after leaving the green before letting you put the score in. There's better out there for less

Worst GPS app! Came pre installed on the Samsung watch 5 Pro golf edition. I've previously tried numerous apps and I've got to say this is the most frustrating! Won't start a round if it doesn't recognise you're at the Tee box (happens often) Picks up the adjacent hole instead of the hole you're actually on (happens occasionally) and comes up with totally inaccurate distances i.e 500 yards on a short par 3! (Happens regularly) seriously considering ditching Samsung and switching to Garmin!

I really liked this for the smart caddie app on a galaxy watch 4. However I feel like the premium subscription is way overpriced so I chose not to renew. I'm much better off buying a golf watch and not having a subscription. There should 1000% be a lifetime subscription option, and it 1000% shouldn't cost as much as the watch itself. This isn't Arcos lol I'll check back next year and see if anything changes in your pricing/business model.

I paid for a permanent membership and have been using it well, but for the past few days it hasn’t been loading.

Used to be able to get distance and enter score directly on the watch. Now you've become greedy and unless I go premium service, I only get distances? Learn from golfshot who have their loyal customers the option to continue using the features which were available from the beginning, and jot take them away.. . Without scoring ability, the watch app is useless... Uninstalled both

I need the smart golf buddy app to go along side my gps aim w11 watch and you can't even download the app anymore on Android

I bought the Samsung active 2 golf edition and with a lifetime membership with Smartcaddie. Used it for a couple of times. GPS function works well and distance tracking is great. However, for score keeping the app only have strokes and putts. As others have said no better than free apps out there. I was expecting more like, penalties, sands, and fairways vs roughs as well as automatic handicap calc. Atlas none of these were included. Hopefully, future versions would have these.

Rubbish. Had this app a couple of years ago and had the same issue with purchasing premium in that it still wants me to purchase the premium service even though I already have. Such a basic part of any pay app and they still haven't sorted it. Still no reply from them four days ago and now missed two rounds of golf that I wanted it for. Thankfully I only paid for one month. Avoid.

I don't understand why it can be so difficult to make the premium app work after payment has been made? I purchased this on 30th August after the trial as I was impressed with the app. Now after buying a year's subscription and it initially activating after notifying golf on through the app, the service had deactivated itself today when I went to play a round. I've emailed the account details across for reactivation. Such a shame as the app is decent but the subscription service is abysmal!

I am struggling with some of the options / lack of features on the app. So far I would say you are a 3 star app with potential but no ongoing investment. 1. Need a feature where we can turn off the auto hole feature. In many instances if you hit onto a different fairway it will switch holes and not give a distance for your current hole (if you try to move it back to the right hole, it still switches back) 2. Need a way to be able to open a golf course that is in favourites without playing it. As an example, in many instances I would like to look at the course details to plan out how I'm going to play it (especially if I don't play here often or if its for a competition) 3. There is no easy way to judge distances to hazards i.e. bunkers and water hazards. This is a serious problem as you can't judge how far the ball has to carry and pick the right club Finally, it looks like you haven't invested in this app in a while. What investments are you guys making on either a) slope information on the course b) green undulations for the UK

What's the point of shot tracking if I can't analyze after I finish the course?!?! I sit there and hit the shot track button on my watch and on my phone...it shows it on the phone perfectly DURING the round..When I finish the round and want to go back and look at my shots....absolutely nothing there but the score....Nothing showing where I actually hit the ball
