GolfLogix Golf GPS + 3D Putts

Disappointing app. I'm sure it's a great app when it works. I paid for a one month subscription and constantly was invited to subscribe again as if it didn't know I was already a subscriber. It also suppressed functionality I had paid for. I tried it out specifically for the green reading feature which worked ok. But the GPS it uses is accurate to only about 2 to 3 yards. It doesn't know exactly where you are when you're standing at your ball. You have to estimate that yourself. I won't renew.

This is a predatory company. They make it nearly impossible to cancel a membership. It is very complicated, I am still in the process of canceling mine, as you have to call them, get ahold of a customer service associate (most of the time I get hung up on), and then hope it actually gets canceled and they don't charge you again the next month claiming that you never canceled. There is also no option to log of out your account on the app and they require GPS all the time, not just when using app

Great GPS app on the free side. Helps you gage distances. Premium helps you with club tracking and customisation. It's worth the money spent. - was my Review in 2017. In 2023 the app has completely changed. The last update they did crashed all of the data and it no longer functions properly. Constantly crashes and fails to load. They also raised the price. I'm also about ready to ask for a refund. Like many others who have commented.

Since 2016 I never played a round without it. WAS great... NOW: Lost all of my shot data since 2016... No more distance data tracking and averages. Cant see shot tracking. Membership costs more this year. Contact us, link broken. Of course it is, they wouldn't want you to request a refund. New UI built the old app and features were taken away, and then they still ask for more money. DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY! Get something else. No warning either. Would love to have downloaded my shot data...

This app does everything you could ever want in a golf gps. I've been using it for 3 years now. Will never stop! Update 8 years later: Most of the features that used to be free are now only available in the paid version. My phone is a bit dated now and the battery consumption is unbearable. I've recently stopped using this app and started using a better, more battery-efficient app that doesn't charge for basic/essential features necessary for the app to be useful. DM me for the app name.

Crashes Frequently, app used to work really well. I kept my scores & tracked my strokes. It was great to track my progress as I learned to play golf. Putts, chips, pitches, bunkers, fairways hit, penalties & more are able to be tracked in the app. However, though it used to need to be opened frequently in the course of 1 golf round, it now crashes & stays crashed even after the Android S22 is rebooted. I've waited for a fix, but will find another golf app that doesn't crash.

Don't pay for the Plus, more than half of the courses aren't mapped for the putt breaks. Golflogix is profiting from false advertising. The app allows you to request the putt breaks for the course that you want to play. Expect to wait many months or longer. Don't be deceived, they have no sense of urgency to provide you with what you are paying for. They have a help desk but good luck getting what you paid for.

The app is great for figuring out the yardage to pins and tracking stats. What would make it amazing are two things: 1) notes a player can take for each hole that are saved from round to round. If a hole plays two clubs longer or if missing right is an impossible up and down, it would be helpful to have those notes in the app rather than in a notebook. 2) easier editing of shots after a round if a player forgot to track a shot during the round.

I've been a member for several years. All of a sudden it tells me I'm no longer a champion member. The fee is still charged every month. I've sent several emails without so much as a response. I'm giving up on it. 5/17/20 Gave it another go this year. Rating hasn't changed. I had bought the yearly subscription because I wanted the green view. I lasted three holes.Got a refund. Way to much manual entering of data. I had my phone out constantly. Couldn't concentrate on golf at all.

This app is pretty useless at golf courses that have bad cell coverage. I've tried downloading the courses that I was playing that week at the hotel room over Wi-Fi, but when I get to the course the app always tries to redownload the golf course. I dropped my subscription because of this. Let me know when this issue has been addressed and I'll resubscribe. Thanks

I've been using this app for the last year. It's always had some issues but I loved it. The last few months it's been horrible. It constantly crashes and keeps disconnecting from my account making me lose my paid features. What's the point of paying if I can't even use the app? Its not worth it anymore so I'll be cancelling and uninstalling.

Had no issues with the app the first time I tried to open it. On the second attempt, I tried to find golf courses near me and none showed up. Tried to enter my account info and got stuck in an infinite loop on the email entry. Said my email already existed and would not let me back out or close the page. Didn't matter what I entered there. Tried reinstalling and I can't even open the app.

DON'T PURCHASE THIS APP! I've been paying for it since 2015 and was generally happy with it. With the newest update, they post a "PERMISSION DENIED" message prohibiting you from using the app without allowing the app to get your GPS position at all times instead of just when using the app. Not only did they double the price, they're now selling your GPS location.

Have used this for years.. like other users I've had problems with the app freezing, and accuracy. Unfortunately my subscription renewed less than a month ago and from what I'm reading no prorated refund. So I paid for a year and only used it for a few weeks...Do yourself a favor and buy a stand alone handheld GPS instead of phone apps, they work much better and no subscription...

I was only able to select my first club on each hole, so no yardage was being tracked. Every time you get within 250 yards, the view changes to "approach" and only gives you info on the green itself, not anything else around it. I don't see how current distance with a gps app was any easier than point and shoot with my laser. I had to unlock my phone every shot and wait for the app to figure out where I was first. Maybe I'm an idiot and just don't "get it" but it wasn't helpful for me at all

I used to use this app awhile ago so I decided to give it a go again. I renewed my subscription only to get a "loading 3D components" message that will not go away. I can close the app and reopen it and it automatically does this. Only way not to is to Uninstall and redownload it but as I try to get a course going it just goes right back to it. Contacted customer support as I would just prefer a refund (I've gone with another app) and have got nothing aside from a generic automated response.

I totally agree with other people complaining about problems with the app. Used to work much better. My biggest gripe is that it starts showing ads and asking me to renew about 6 weeks before my renewal date. It is supposed to auto-renew which should give a seamless experience, but without paying again now, I am unable to get any distance reads. Also as mentioned by others, I can't choose non-club shot selections (pitch, chip, punch, penalty). It seems to think I am left handed now too.

Have used this app for a couple of years with no issues. The new update is great when it works. The app won't open the scoring page when I first open the app, usually have to close and reopen the app several times to get the score page to work. Sometimes have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to work. Very frustrating when trying to concentrate on golf. Sometimes it crashes in the middle of a round and I lose all data and score. Looking for a different app now.

this was a great app on its day. I've been paying the yearly fee ( started at 9.99 then the last was 19.99). for that cost it was well worth it. move ahead to now. I get a notice that after my subscription ends it's now 49.99, BUT WAIT It gets better. I call them and I get a screw you, for you 4 years of subscriptions, the app doesnt even work any more. popup says I need to pay either the 49.99 or 9.99 for 1 month. but. my subscription doesnt end until June 9, 2019. gready company.

and I'm cancelling. 35 prompts to upgrade to putt reading membership and forcing a trial to even be allowed to start the round EVERY F'ING ROUND. After 8 years I'll go ahead and adjust my account to never again. Nice work product development. Can't recommend Golf Gps as an alternative enough. Their app treats you like you are over 4 years old.
