GolfNow: Golf Tee Times

App is easy to use, but customer service is ABYSMAL. Good luck speaking to an actual human being with any concern you have. Booked a round of golf and the course ended up closing due to weather for the day. Never received any credits back onto my account for the $80 I spent. I've sent 4 emails, and every time I call it's a 30 minute hold with no one ever answering. Joke of a company. Just spend the extra $10 or so to book through the actual course.

Deceptive membership practices. Golfnow would not let me cancel a tee time, despite having got their member pass membership which allows for 10 cancelations an hour prior to the tee time. When contacted, Samantha told me it was only a trial, so the benefits don't apply. No where was this stated when I signed up. Absolutely deceptive... Aside from this, the app is nice to see what tee time is around.

Don't pay for green fees on this app! Difficult to Navigate-Scheduled Wrong Day We scheduled a tee time for a Sunday afternoon, but it somehow switched to Sat (same day) and when we tried to correct after paying, the app says we can't cancel due to 24 hour policy. Don't pay for green fees on this app! Call the course you want to play directly or you will lose your money!

Convenient app can be difficult when you have too cancel a tee time. Being able to schedule a tee time and add your friends in the app is great. Allows them to also pay for their portion of the round. But, if a friend does no show and doesn't pay on the app. Your forced to pay for the left over spot. Easier to call the golf course for the tee time and those that show up for only their round. Get good offers. Got free 3 months of XM radio for the car, no credit card needed in some offers.

This app used to be great. With the covid golf craze, tee times are gone before they're even available, here on GolfNow. On top of that, everytime I find a tee time I want, I go through the process to book, and when I hit Make Reservation, an error ALWAYS pops up saying, "tee time is no longer available, or there has been an error." It's 99% errors, and I have to call customer service to recognize the apps error and manually remake it.The service is much more frustrating than it is helpful.

Your policy changes have led me to cancel my premium membership and to not use the app any longer. When booking a time and you cancel (even when the cancelation is more than 24 hours) they just credit your account. That sounds ok if i can use that credit for all other tee times. You can only use it for hot deals! This is an absolute rip off and will not be using your application again.

This app is terrible. When you select a hot deal it says "Unexpected Error" or "tee time no longer available." It happens with a lot of golf courses you try to select. And it is happening to several people we know. We called customer service about this and tried to escalate the issue but they just ignored us and never returned our call. I'm an IT person myself and have never seen such a poorly functioning app. Now there is another problem. Credit card information keeps disappearing.

I'd suggest avoiding this app completely. I was somehow opted in to "GolfPass" for $9.99 a month, and I didn't notice right away. I phoned in, they say they don't do refunds and chastised me for not noticing the charge sooner. I never opted in to it, but they told me no one opted into it for me, so I must have. Sure. It's my mistake, somehow, and it's on me, but just take heed -- their customer service is not concerned with your complaint, and they have no issue with misleading you.

When I saw my total cost it was already too late to back out, also the only initial"perk" applied was the return of $6 service charge. Also the last time I booked a tee time (for 2) I was told in the pro shop that I was booked as a foursome. ( I Forgot to check if I was charged for 2 or 4 golfers). I've used this app for years with out a problem, although I'm not sure if I got any of the extra membership perks then either.

Booked a 5:40 PM tee time w/ the app, and despite receiving a confirmation from GolfNow and paying the booking fee, the course never got the reservation. The course was able to accommodate us, but the tee time was a half hour later and we were not able to take a cart as a result. My biggest issue is that there seems to be no way to contact someone regarding issues. I don't care about the $5 lost convenience fee, there just has to be an easier way to report things when users encounter a problem.

It does not allow you to use a gift card balance to pay. If you use the website, it just gives you an error when you try to make the reservation. Have to call GN to find out why reservation will not be accepted or why you cannot use your balance. (Update-after two months they have fixed most of the issues with gift cards. Spent a lot of time on phone support trying to figure out some of the error messages. N.B. no one is available for phone support on the weekends. )

App works fine, but my low review is due to recent changes to the Hot Deals. Within the last month, the taxes on hot deals have been very high, whereas they used to be zero. For example, a $40 hot deal will have $3.50 in fees and another $4+ in taxes, but a regular deal has $0.25 in taxes. All the hidden costs seem very misleading to me. Also, some of the best promo codes only work on hot deals Mon-Thurs after 12pm. Which is almost impossible to take advantage of.

Love the app when it works. Especially useful for booking a tee time when traveling and wanting to find a course to play. Problem is app and website aren't working well. Tried booking a tee time kept getting an error each time I tried to book. Now I've had multiple booking fees charged on my card and no tee times. There is no customer service to call.

Good app, relatively easy to understand. HOWEVER, when you have credits for a tee time, they randomly disappear. Theres is no way to check and see how much money you have in credits unless you go to a check-out. When i try to make one and use those credits they disappear and i can't use them. Aggravating since those credits expire. This is a big fix they need to address.

Don't get VIP! Useless, expensive, and "hot deals" are not hot! They are the same damn price the courses offer no discount at all, same price as always! All the benefits of this app are free, don't buy membership it's useless. Oh and what's worse is after you pay $250 then ads will start appearing on the app that offer free gear (bag, balls, etc) for signing up... That's funny because I got diddly squat for signing up! I did get waived convenience charges for for setting tee times but don't earn points because all the courses around here make you pay at the course so again. I get nothing from this app! Also very hard to search for a specific course you want to play, you have to scroll forever to find it.... Very annoying and not worth VIP membership!

Was booking a tee time on the app and once I finalized the booking I received an error saying it was no longer available, but my bank was charged the fee for the reservation. When I looked at My Reservations on the app it didn't show up! Called the 1-800 number, but could not get ahold of Customer Service to see why I was charged and if I needed to cancel. Was on hold for over an hour and a half! Also, beware! When you cancel you do not get your money back but only GN credit.

Currently, I use it throughout the week to check deals and such. They have more courses than they used too. Deals are so-so. You see some good ones like 30-35 for a regular 50-60 dollar course once in a while but like all deals, they get scooped up quick. My gripe is the discount rewards you earn are only usable mon-thurs after 12pm on hot deals only. Most hot deals appear earlier, also I work mon-fri. Not worth paying for premium.

an endless barrage of "an unexpected error has occurred" when you try to book a tee time, try to add a payment method after the app loses them when you try to book. I have lost several tee times because of this. nonsense fees and you don't really gain a damn thing. avoid being nicked and dimed for "convenience" and either book directly online or call. app isn't worth it if you're not paying them extra for a sub for *checks notes* "no fees".

Dont waste your money booking on this app, if there's any issues you can't get through to a rep for assistance. I recently booked a time for a course. it started raining with some thunder and lightning so I didn't show. 3 days later I was double charged full price for the course. When I try and contact for reimbursement there's no way to do so. The help pages they offer just keep circling you around with no actual way to contact someone for a refund.

If you have to book a tee time using a canceled credit from your account using the app it will not work. It populates an error that says "Available Balance is Not a Payment Type". You can only book on the website to use a canceled credit balance. This glitch has been going on for months and customer service is unaware of it. They suggest uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Then suggest booking on the website. Alrighty then. If not for the canceled credit booking issue the app seems to work
