Good Sam Travel

NOTHING DISCOUNTED. I tried using at various places and sites but there's absolutely no benefit to this APP or "program". Even being affiliated with Camping World this doesn't do much for you and camping locations listed don't seem to care about Good Sam as they won't honor any 10% discounts as GS says. It seems like this is just a gimmick which makes me think all of their services are gimmicks not even worth wasting time with.

Simply sucks! As with all things related to the changes that have occured with Good Sam Club over the past few years, this APP is of dubious value and not at all intuitive or user friendly. I have no interest in renting my RV, or renting an RV, so not sure why this is such a prominent aspect of the site. The campground data base is out of date, and lists the nearby Camping World which shuttered its doors last fall. I could go on, but it's not worth the effort.

signed up for platinum plus online. it wasnt added. gave me only regular platinum. called to see what's going on. they turned it on, no additional fee but must wait another 48hrs! unbelievable horrible way to do business with new customers. Coach-net seems to be the best. sadly I learned too late. only 24hr wait with them!

Absolutely horrible experience with good sam, more like sh...y sam! Still waiting on my refund from these unprofessional scammers. Bought the wrong thing and because i paid with my card on the app. Good sam decided it would be a good idea to screw me over and send back a check. All this technology and the customers get screwed every time. Thanks for making me a loyal triple A ( AAA) customer they actually take care of they're customers. Make them feel valued, not you people. Stay away !

For me, I was able to download the app but then it would not validate my membership for all three. I am an elite member and is good until 2024 and also both for the roadside assistance and travel assist. And while trying to fill up the needed data, I noticed though that in the end it kind of geared only for renting an RV. We have our own RV and we do not want to rent... I do.not know its just my understanding maybe the reason why it would not validate my member numbers....

All focus is on RV this, RV that. App not designed for Roadside Assistance. In time of need hard to find info, not intuitive, and no App location look up for Roadside providers as other Apps can do. The app is just a website wrapper, zero effort. Would give zero stars if possible. Look at other reviews, same issues.

Camping World this is the worst app ever! Took forever to realize you wanted the manufacturer in the "make" location on "my garage". Can't add images of my rv using my phone. App only accepts jpg, jpeg or png. ANDROID PHONES AREN'T JPG, JPEG OR PNG! Once you get your rv added... you find out it's for rental purposes. NO. NO. NO! What happened to the separate "rental app" you keep promising? Not to mention, discounts on fuel at Pilot Flying J locations? You make NO effort to help me find them.

It took me forever to get my account to work and then was greatly disappointed with what I found for all the effort. There isn't a trip planner like the brochure I received in the store said. There are campsites, but nothing better than any other campsite app will do. You can rent an rv or rent out your rv, if you want that feature. That's about all there is to it and it crashes constantly on both my phone and tablet.

App is grossly out-of-date. You can't even add a vehicle with a model-year later than 2024. 2026 models are already being released. I also get crazy errors trying to add & edit profile and garage info.

The first time I used them, they had to send out 4 different On 2 different days. And they only take $30 off the actual tow price instead of paying for the insurance, like it's supposed to be when I had my truck towed eighty miles, it cost me six hundred dollars

Do not use this app and do not rent from them. They have an insane return policy. Basically, if you don't cancel 24 hours within reserving, You don't get your money back!! Even in emergency such as COVID!! Ridiculous!! I'm warning you now they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

app and website are awful. Somehow an old membership exists and has a bad address, not ever mine. what kind of modern app won't let you update your address. I also tried to create a new one but their system keeps merging with the old.

Worthless - no added value to having this app on my phone unless you are wanting to rent an RV. The app would not even validate my Good Sam memberships. Uninstalled the app less than a week after installing it. I recommend that Good Sam fire the clown who created the app and then scrap the app entirely.

After not being able to validate my membership and login I called customer support and Good Sam doesn't even recognize this as being their app. FYI if you are downloading to utilize with your membership it's a waste of time.

It would be helpful if new roadside assistance membership auto populated and towing progress were tracked through the app. You need to be able to receive confirmation of delivery to destination.

This app is worthless. It does not display the barcode that let's you get a discount at Flying-J and the help section is frozen - none of the help buttons do anything.

I just downloaded this app and it gives you the option to put in your membership number and it says it's already taken no kidding. I have it, but it won't allow me to put it and open my account up

I can't download the app. It just says pending, apparently indefinitely. I'm going to end up canceling my account with Goid Sam. I need convenient roadside assistance and that means I need an app I can download.

Unable to log in to GS app. Sign in on desktop site fine, all my info confirmed there, just no app access. App Msg: acct number does match membership type. Why advertise the Road Assist app with a tab on the GS desktop site if it won't work correctly?

This app is a ruse to try to rent you an RV or get you to rent yours out to other people, with GS getting a cut of the $. The "trip planner" starts by trying to rent you an RV and gives no option to skip that. The RV park list is way out of date. Worthless app.
