It's good, just be careful opening notifications that tell you your points are expiring soon. I tapped one and it immediately redeemed my points for a goodrx coupon without giving me any options until after it had done so. Obviously, it was too late at that point. Customer support said they can't help. There's a difference between can't and won't. Oh, well. Lesson learned. Good app otherwise.
This app is insanely helpful. I've used it for years and it's saved me hundreds of dollars (at least). Pharmacy prices vary WIDELY. They use different vendors and have different markups. A prescription can be $400 at one pharmacy and $75 at another. Thank goodness for apps like this! (I say "like this," but this is the only one you need). You can easily see where it's cheapest. Everybody needs this app, especially if you don't have insurance. You need GoodRx!
be careful. once they get your payment info, they won't let you cancel online. I've tried several times to cancel by clicking the cancel gold button but it doesn't go anywhere. so now I'll have to call and sit on hold forever. plus the prices on the app aren't what ealgreens actually charges you. I've saved a few dollars but worth all the chasing around. Scammy.
Easy to use and I like how the app saves my meds so I don't have to constantly look them up when its time for a refill. My only complaint is I was given $18 off my next script and it did not work. This happened a few months back. I tried, the pharmacy tech tried and nothing. However, on the app it says I used it. I would have rather received a digital gift card which would have been easier to use and probably woud have worked.
Easy, free, done!! Why wouldn't you use it?! If only everything worked like this app -- it does exactly what it says it does. NO gimmick, no sales, no ads, no signing up. No verifying your email through your phone via 3rd passcode, making you change your password for more security, then calling you to verify that you verified, only then....the coupon or offer or WHATEVER it is doesn't work. It's about time an app just WORKS and is free and you can move on with the rest of your day. Thank You!!
GRX Has always been able to find a cheap price for my medication. It really saved me, when I didn't have prescription coverage for a full year, I hardly felt any difference, from when I had just co-pays! It tells you which retailer has the cheapest drugs. The only time I ever had a problem I called & it was resolved almost immediately & because I had a problem prior to the resolution they comped me three months of free service! Compared to th other apps, there is no contest! They cover pets too!
Love GoodRx. Just wanted to mention that I did an experiment using the GoodRx card vs the app. The Walmart pharmacy tech (who's very knowledgeable and has been there for years) didn't think there was a difference in price. Well, I'm so glad I did. It saved quite a bit more to use the actual app than the card. Surprised both of us. Will only use app from now on. Yesterday, used at Costco and price was less than the apps listed price, also a very nice surprise.
Just okay. The app works fine for certain meds, but totally glitches for others. I have one med that's pretty expensive, so I was hoping a coupon would lower my cost. The search lists different coupon prices that would be awesome, but when I try to use the coupon, it always says error loading, and has for over 27 days of trying, including uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
They stopped giving daily reward points. That's not ideal but fine, up to them. Then they stop sending me reminders and then make all my accumulated points expire right before I was going to use the app for needed refill. For brief "inactivity" that they encouraged by no longer communicating with me and giving no warning this was going to happen. They just didn't want to pay out the cash I earned over a year. Discounts aren't even as good as most other apps anymore. Screw this app!
Love the app and program! The app makes it easy to compare prices at various pharmacies without wasting a ton of time calling around to get "ballpark" pricing. The app also has coupons, which helps get the prescription for even cheaper than just the card alone. The nice part is that the prices are usually pretty spot on, so I know what to expect and how much I'll need. This card gets me my scripts for much cheaper than what I'd be paying with insurance, too, and saves me so much money!
Great Find! Easy to use, well worth spending a few minutes to save in some cases ALOT of money! Even saving a few bucks is worth the time (which is short). App takes little time and knowledge to use. It's fair to say that not all prescriptions will be cheaper, but it is still worth the time to check. In addition, if your pharmacy is not listed as one who accepts the coupon, they will often adjust the price (lower) than they would normally charge you so that it counts against your deductible.
Really great app, saved alot on prescriptions. Used to pay over 80 dollars till I heard about this app and was able to save 60 dollars. Wasn't too sure how it worked so when I went to the pharmacy, just showed my phone with the numbers up through their glass and they just input the information, and only downside was I had to come back in 30 minutes for it to take into effect, but after got the discount. 10/10 would recommend, I have the free version and it works great.
It's a pretty decent app, I enrolled in the gold membership free trial. I went into the app and put my scripts in, and I was projected to save $47 by using the prices that the app was showing. Well, it wasn't the case when I got to the pharmacy. Some of my scripts would have been more expensive if I had used the coupon, and another one, the coupon price was completely wrong. I'll give it another try for my husbands scripts, but if it doesn't give us any savings, I'll be canceling and deleting.
App works fine, but the service itself is a joke. The prices listed are "estimates" and will change at the pharmacy. So you might end up driving out of your way to a random pharmacy only to find out the price might actually be higher than had you just used your insurance at your preferred pharmacy. maybe the subscription service is better, but that kinda undermines the point of the program. what a waste of time.
sweet and prices are spot on. so may options to assist users. I have saved a lot of $$$ using this app. I paid 35.00 to join a grocery chain store and saved a little. It paid for itself. This FREE site has saved me a whole lot more without any cost to join. Not one issue using this app. I especially like the listing of Pharmacies in the order of cheapest to most expensive. Sweet app, it continues to get better and prices on drugs lower. I just can't figure how they can do this at no cost to us..
They've limited the website (can no longer list all vendors or sort results) so that you're forced to now use the app but the app is not working. Returns an 'unexpected error' message when attempting to lookup medication. App will show you a low price but when you click on the pharmacy the price listed is often significantly higher. Why can't companies just leave stuff alone when it's working fine?! And I found the app team's response to this review to be untrue.
Great app! Individual prices are better than my own coverage on some prescriptions. Be careful though when combining coupons for use at one pharmacy. The app did not return with the best pharmacy to buy from. My result was $15 higher at Costco than the individual results at Kroger. So do the math yourself. Don't just rely on the app for your final purchase.
Don't sign up for the free trial Made this mistake, canceled the trial because I just wanted to try the "gold". Unless you want them to continue to try to receive payment, even after canceling, don't do it. I have canceled now 3 different ways and it's been over 3 weeks and they've tried to receive payment at least 4 or 5 times. I just had to completely block the merchant from my bank card. Plus the free app is perfect, no need for the "gold". Especially at that price.
Drug and Insurance Companies are out of control! Prescription Costs (even with insurance) are ridiculous This is an incredible App/Service! Does what it says. Simple, intuitive, easy to use. If you're skeptical (and you should be), Try It! Compare prices to see what you can save out of pocket. They offer a subscription service, But the basic product is great! and it's Free
Apparently since the last update the app won't open. I went to the site and they've changed the entire layout to make it more cluttered, which makes it more difficult to find prices, and the prices that are shown are for gold, so it's misleading. It doesn't show the original price of the Rx, it only shows you a coupon. I only hope when the app works again it's the regular old layout and not that. Then I'd give it 5 stars.
