App doesn't work and is pointless on fully updated brand new Samsung S25 Ultra. I can see my property, but nothing happens when I tap on it. Literally nothing. Web version works fine. App is pointless. The app just tells you that you have a website.
Great service, just wish they offered a simpler UI for those starting out that don't need all the bells and whistles yet.
Awful update!!! It AUTOUPDATED!!!!!!! and it sucks big time! 1. There s no numbers, just procentages. 2. I have to select between accounts AND VIEWS. Like in the desktop version, which sucks also. The numbers are really small. It always shows me yesterday s data, even though I have selected today. The procentages are the worst!!! I need numbers !!! If there is a way I can have the old app, please let me know. My friend s app has not updated ;( I want mine also to go back to being user friendly
Great but when changes are made on web, it does not take effect in the app I uninstall and reinstall. I don't know if that can be fixed. Then secondly, I can't log out my account on the app like every other app. If I could logout, maybe I don't have to uninstall. Please fix that. Apart from these, the app is really amazing and quite helpful.
It's much more convenient than pulling it up on my desktop, but it definitely has some bugs/issues. Most noticeably: sometimes the numbers on the x axis of the graphs will just kind of collapse. I also think it doesn't have all the same features as desktop (although I haven't taken the time to check and compare the two). However, this is significantly more convenient than having to use solely the desktop interface
Could be great, but the most useful panel, the real-time "Users right now" count is unreliable. Frequently the count goes up-and-up reaching crazy high numbers then crashes down. It doesn't represent the real number of users on the site. The bug is not particular to the mobile app. The Analytics web app is the same. Problem exists for months and many other users have complained on the Google support forum.
I get a constant error in the app: We have encountered an error and cannot process your request right now. Please try again later. I have reinstalled it, removed my acoount. Nothing works. Web interface works fine for the same account. I do have another Google account on my phone. Maybe that gets in the way?
Other than the comparisons that are missing, this version isn't refreshing the data. I have to kill the app and restart to get current data. Unacceptable! Additionally, Event Action list shows only 10 items, no option to scroll or option to 'see more'. Undo app. Now!
Horribly buggy. On a GA4 property, if you try to customize a default report, it doesn't work. Your chosen item doesn't show up in the report. Then if you try and save that report to your dashboard, the card can't be moved up or down and can't be deleted. It just says "card action failed".
Since moving to GA4, app is complete garbage. They removed the ecommerce tab so now you have to create custom report which doesn't have all the info needed AND it doesn't even report sessions or conversions properly (yes everything on site is installed correctly). To top it all off, the GA4 widget is not even functional either so dont waste your time with that as well. Google analytics are tanking and support is not good. UA was waaaay better. More accurate and more data available to see on app.
I find it unacceptable that this update was released in the state it has been, as of writing the app will not allow you to refresh the data, and it seems to not refresh on its own either. You must close the app fully and launch it again. Additionally there is no comparison data, all of my customizations are gone, and some charts that made sense as line graphs, lists or tables have all been turned into bar charts?? For instance, the real-time page shows currently-viewed pages as a bar chart. Why?
A shocking update. The mobile app worked perfectly well, and then they "enhanced" it that made things worse. Why? Sometimes my audience's country is displayed as a list, sometimes as a bar chart. It just does this by itself. Sometimes my X axis starts at 0, sometimes at 1, sometimes at 35. It's extremely disorienting to have constant changes in information display when using an app. Every day is a surprise in terms of what Analytics will show you - this is not what you need. Illogical & broken.
App doesnt work - I'm sitting in front of my computer looking at my analytics and when I try to pull them up using the app I get a notice saying I have no analytics. The only information online says "make sure you've signed into the correct account". I'm 100% sure that I am currently signed into the correct account. That being said, this service would be fantastic and useful if it worked! Edit: improved the rating because the developers are working to fix this!
i'm changing my review since the last time. they fixed a few things like a real time on the dashboard. but the software still sucks. its hard to make a new menu item, it doesn't bounce back to where you left off and the controls are very confusing. but the WORST part is -- it doesn't keep track of the stats! what is the point in having a counter that doesn't know what the numbers are? page views shows 120, page views with title 20, actual total number 400. sometimes it jumps it shows 25 views and then shoots up to 600. or then it just stops at 600 and doesn't move. what is the point of this software if it can't keep track of the stats? it used to be able to do it before the new update, which i still don't see why they bothered to change.
After changing my property to ga4 I can't see anything helpful in the app anymore. There does not even seem to be an option to find out what pages users are looking at! Maybe there's some way to configure this through the desktop app or firebase or some other unnecessarily complicated approach, but at the end of the day I used to be able to see this information easily and now perfectly all my most important dashboard metrics are inaccessible.
As someone who runs a small to medium website, the Google Analytics apps is just a really solid performer. No muss or fuss to set it up, the on-the-go type information I need about my site performance. When I'm looking for deep-dive stuff I go to the website but when I just want to check yesterday's stats over the same day last week, this works and then some. Super grateful this app is around, couldn't be happier with it.
The update ruined the app. Within real time, sometimes it shows live active users, sometimes it shows the total for the past 30 mins and sometimes it says its showing for past 30 mins but is actually live. Also changes its mind with how it displays data. Sometimes bar graphs, other times text. The events do not work, it will no longer show any event downstream from view content.
I opened Analytics today to find out that my custom dashboards have all disappeared. While I don't mind the new UI, the update is unacceptable to lose all of my personalizations. Worse still, many of the fields I need are gone as options from the dashboard - including many of the Realtime reports. Went from checking Analytics multiple times a day from this app, to never using it anymore because it doesn't give me what I need.
The new update seemingly made the app look ten years older. Why does my app look nothing like the one seen in the app store gallery? No orange at all. Not only that. There are just basic errors in the graphs now. For example, in the Audience Overview User graph, the graph simply forgets what 0 users means. The graph just goes in a straight line from the 3 users I had the hour before to the 2 users I had two hours later without with the graph never reaching 0 for the two hours inbetween.
The app is useful indeed. It provides fast access to the essential metrics. I tried several Wordpress plugins - in order to have a simplified interface in my WP admin area - without having to log into the full Analytics jungle. The plugins were providing that, but at a steep price of a huge code bloat. This is what I now use for a quick look at my site's daily visits, etc. For more details, I log into the Analytics in a desktop browser.
