Grand Summoners - Anime RPG

Decided to give it another try after I lost my 4 year old account. Nothing has changed unfortunately. Obtaining crystals are as tedious as they were, new events/crossovers keep it interesting I guess, multiplayer is just as toxic as ever, and obtaining new units seems to be at it's all time terrible. Game is pretty decent for a while, but then you quickly start to pick up on the noticeable greed. Its a beautiful game and the new features are always cool, but I can't recommend it for long term.

The game has had significant improvements over the years. I still argue that a new player evolution materials are pretty difficult to get. All in all, if you haven't played this game before, probably start during a collab and make sure you reroll for what you need. It makes the game a lot easier. Hopefully, the new idle mode for the game comes out soon that could fix a lot of issues.

Love this game! Been playing for over 3 years now, have had little spirts of not playing, but it is easy to pick back up. Lots of collabs and events, fun and strategic gameplay, and the ability to idle play quests. It can definitely feel difficult until you get more characters, but as long as you have enough self control to save up for pity, you won't have any issues.

Me personally, I've been playing for about 3 years now, and I love this game. The character art is enjoyable, I also like that they are adding animated character art. I like the fact that they add more story pretty frequently so you always have something more to do. You get free rewards everyday, and I like the ability to do multiplayer on tough stages. This is probably the gacha game that I've played the most out of all the gachas I've played. Love the crossovers because they give iconic chars.

ITS SOOO GOOD tbh but now I'm getting problems. it won't let me try to summon or open missions to claim something. it keeps kicking me out the game. Besides that it's a really good game. Also I wish they collabed with any other animes besides the ones they already did, and add a bit more shaman king characters. That would be nice. But overall, the game itself is AWESOME<3 (Edit) the glitch Finally's fixed, and I can play normally again. I claimed everything that I didn't and summoned normally<3

The drop rates continously keep getting worse. The pool gets more and more diluted. For veterans it's getting worse as well as there no content. I've been playing for over 3years now and I'll just login for my bonus n leave. The content rotation is terrible smh. The crossover characters are awesome but now the game is about collecting units instead of just playing.. update. I have over 5 years playing. the disconnect between developer and players has never been greater. pure money grab.

I used to like this game, but after playing for a year straight, I see no point in playing. At first the game had many playthrough stories and a way to earn crystal. But once you complete all of those, there aren't any left to earn crystals. The good thing about this game is they update the game once a month and have daily login rewards. The worst thing about it is the reward gives you little amount of crystal around 1 to 15. And about the summoning rate... what a joke...

Ever since 2021 started the game has gotten waaay better, constant updates, content, crossovers etc. Edit of 2025, changed from 5 to 1 to 4 and now I'm giving it a 3 because eventually they're planning on having the pity summon system take 3000 crystals instead of the 1500 that it is now. that's beyond ridiculous because it takes months to even save 1500 let alone 3k so eventually I may drop this game because this is just ridiculous.

If you see this, then this will be the most honest review you read. This game is good. Great sprites and animation paired with good stories and a power fantasy style game, not to mention almost 20 crossovers. The drop rates for limited characters are so abysmal hope and logic is irrelevant, so there is coercion to pay. Watch your wallet since the rates are worse than other gotcha.

Alright so, what can I say about this title. The game is a simple action style rpg and has really well thought out mechanics that put an emphasis on unit and loadout. The designs are great and the story, while generic, is alright. I have two big complaints though. First, the gacha gates are pretty bad. The only units that matter, 5 star units, don't get pulled nearly enough on average and are only garunteed with a steep price tag. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with this if the rates were better or if there was more use off the gate filler but they only serve the alchemy gate which hosts all of 5 units that are more or less niche to certain team compositions that aren't garunteed to begin with. It is also at that npc units are gated too which comes off as wasted potential for an event or big fight to earn it. My second complaint is that their is no English dubbing. Again, I wouldn't have a problem if it wasn't advertised that the compendium had exclusive lines which people who don't understand the language are left in the dark on because of obvious reasons. As a person who likes to get a feel of characters and the lore aspects of rpgs. This is a dissapointing aspect. I do think its a fun title. However, a few bad rolls can quickly turn off players and that's quite the shame for keeping players on this game.

Game is still fun, if you have the right units. Summon rates are absolutely garbage, to the point where you can summon over 50 times throughout the course of your play, and not get a healer. Like me. It's rather disheartening. Story is still good, but the rates caused me to uninstall, as I fell behind content and found I couldn't catch up.

Pro:Awesome game, one of the best RPGs right behind Brave Frontier. They have awesome graphics and great storyline, not to mention the abilities and characters are really good. Con:drop chances are extremely low(I mean rediculously low, feels like 0.0001% chance) for any of the characters or items you'd actually want, not to mention cross-over characters and items. When I accidentally deleted the game I couldnt recover anything, I wish they had other ways to backup your data other than facebook.

For the amount of time I COULD play the game, I enjoyed It! But after not logging on for a while and wanting to come back, even AFTER downloading the updates, my game no longer wants to start up, I can't get passed the main title screen. I have no idea what the problem is, but I really hope someone (another player or a developer) can help me out in one way or another. EDIT: After trying several times to uninstall and reinstall the game, update it, etc. I still cannot get the game to even start.

The game is very fun for quite awhile but eventually the game will feel stale. Your characters will eventually hit a wall and you'll have to wait for the next update/event to make them stronger. Even if you spend $$$ it may not be worth until you wait for a specific event that could take MONTHS. On a last note, this game will delete your account if you are absent from it. Can't remember the specific time but it's a couple months. Logged in 500 days straight for 500 crystals... Yea all gone.

This game is addicting. I always end up coming back even if I take long breaks. The sprites and the voice acting are splendid. I could care less about the story, but there is so much content to unpack. Added with the crossover banners, this game is amazing. Fair warning, the fault of this game is that the late game power creep may discourage many people who don't have op units. Otherwise, it's easy to collect gems for the most part, though they become scarce later on. Though, no pity is wack.

It's fun, like any other gacha game. At the beginning at least. Where you have a lot of things to do and strive for, like grinding crystals for summoning and the anniversary rewards. After that, there is a drought. No other ways to get crystals other than to pay with real money. There should be a change. Maybe even a way to endlessly grind crystals so that the average player doesn't spend hundreds on a mobile game with the lowest chance to get anything good at all. I still play, but it's dry

Good game but the odds of getting what you want are some of the worst I've seen. In addition the tech support team is atrocious. Any other game I've come across, the support team has been quick and responsive, and friendly, but I made a purchase for a package in the game that didn't go through. Most places it gets fixed in a matter of hours. its been 3 days since I originally reported it and after following their steps w/ no response I get a tepid "Please wait for a while". It was $10! Not happy

Not a bad game. However, you get flooded right away with characters you don't need. You also can't use anything higher than a two star character to build your better characters. Because of this, you have to sell the excess ones at a VERY low price in order to make room for new characters, which you won't use most likely. Again, not bad gameplay, but you'll be selling right away just to make room. Too many app games are like this, so I'm uninstalling.

The problem is that even though they give you lots of gems to summon stuff the chances of getting anything really good are slim to none. I've sunk hours into this game and don't have much to show for it. you may have to reset right at the start until you get good starting units. Edit: I ended up playing more and eventually I lucked out and got some good units. which has made the game more enjoyable. but your luck could be different and make it difficult to enjoy.

I really enjoyed the art style in this game, which makes losing my account feel even worse. I miss all the things I worked so hard for, the things I finally got good at, and the things I paid for that I'll never get to see again. I never got to collect all the characters & equipment I really wanted, but I did get a bunch I really loved & miss ;_; Still in denial years later & haven't played since. I just can't start all over, not after how much I invested financially due to the extreme RNG.
