Greggs App - Food & Drink

Love greggs, especially the one at Houndsmill Basingstoke , the staff are lovely and I think the app is brilliant as I regularly get a free drink or cake . What you probably already know , the £5 deal is very popular with pensioners as it is great value for money . We use the Greg's in the town centre as well , most weeks about 3 times and we have 2 hot drinks and 3 cakes for about £6 !! If we used Costa or similar your looking at £15 -£20 which we could not afford . Keep up the good work 👏

Oh crumbs! the app doesnt allow me to pre order anymore. It's been this way for a few months, rendering this app only good for collecting and redeeming points. another note: chicken is no longer an option on the create your own pizza, hmm 🤷‍♀️

Great app! The layout is nice and easy to understand, and the rewards are good, too. I haven't used the delivery/ pre-order for collection features, but when checking different Greggs' opening times in that tab it was helpful.

First time doing collection and half my order was missing. Went back to ask why. They said my items weren't in stock (nice of them not to let me know when I collected it!) and I could have something else (I didn't want something else). So the app lets you pay for things you can't actually have. What an innovation. No refund offered. Also the hot drink was cold because they clearly made it half an hour before my time slot. Mince pies were very good though.

have tried 3 times to log in just reloads screen and starts everything over again have downloaded it few times without any joy so unfortunately looks like i won't be ordering Greggs today

It keeps saying make sure you register so you can get your freebie! Hah chance would be a fine thing! I've tried to register 10 times so far on various days and times, on mobile data and WiFi and every time I get through to the end, only for it to say oops error something went wrong try again! I'm getting sick of trying now! Hopefully the paper loyalty cards will be back in stock soon! 😕

This just doesn't work and has to be the single most useless app I've encountered. The app makes the right noises at the till and I've trialled this over several stores and for quitr some time. Not once has it added a 'stamp' for drink purchase, even the staff in the branches are embarrassed by the absolute pointless functionality of this app. At best, its data harvesting for Greggs as you need to create an account. Just don't bother.

I was saving my freebies for desperate times however the app used it all when it felt like it. also bought a festive bake I dodnt want just to get the free coke but again app didn't work I got a festive bake I dodnt like but ate be a use I was super hungry and never got the coke they should make it so you can choose when rewards are used not just quto apply on next visit I was taking my son out for he's birthday (2 days before payday) was saving rewards and now ruined.

I got a greggs gift card for Xmas. why can't I load it to the app and monitor how much credit I have left.. this app is so dated. with my Amazon gift card I registered it to my account in the app instantly.

Unable to login, as it falls in a fail register procedure, looping and going back to the login screen over and over again. Therefore useless!

I have £18 in my wallet, and have problems ordering as I can't call into a shop due to being disabled and not being able to scan my greggs app at the till, I am housebound so impossible to shop., I can use Uber as for delivery but it dosint allow me. please help .

The staff at my local Greggs are always so kind and helpful.It is quite a busy shop with lots of regulars It's nice to be greeted with a smile. Oh,and the food is pretty good too!

The app is functional and easy to use. However for the premium prices Greggs charge in 2026 and the ultra processed food they sell, you don't really get any significant rewards in return. This is someone who used to work directly for one of the family too. Family values have gone to be replaced by corporate greed. Shame.

Basic app but the "rewards' part is a let down, you earn a free drink through purchases but if you don't use it within a relatively short time period they take it off you. By all means limit people accumulating more than say... 5? Free drinks but if you've earned a few then there should be no time limit, you should at least get an alert to say use it or lose it, the other thing is if you don't activate the no option in two sections of your rewards it automatically uses it

Good rewards app, never had any issues with connectivity at all. They fixed the click and collect issue I had and nearly everything is perfect. The one issue I have is that the part in my account where you can toggle on and off whether you want emails and does not work. Mine has been set to off ever since I installed it, yet every single time I get a reward I get an email. Its un-needed because the app tells me I'm getting the reward. You have a lot of customers and are wasting a lot of money.

App itself has a great UI but more than once the I've scanned and not received points on my purchases which is the real purpose of having the app. I get that no one needs to give free stuff but it's really off-putting when you make a purchase and scan the app only for the purchases to not register. When it does work it doesn't register until well after you've left the store so it's not like you can be sure while there if it's worked or not.

Great app, easy to use, no problems so far except from myself selecting another branch than the one I went to. Even then the staff were going to make my order there but I said no as otherwise the other order would have been chucked away, wasteful and it was my fault. Plus the other branch was only a mile away. Staff are always friendly and polite too

Frustratingly it seems that every other order using this fails to apply my free items. The receipts show up correctly, so the barcode is being read. It even tells me I've earned a reward, so it's not like the items don't qualify. Makes life really awkward when there's a queue and you have to go back and interrupt to sort out. Ended up walking away the last couple of times.
