Constantly send orders far away or going a different direction from where I'm driving. It's like you don't know where I am or just don't care. And taking away a good order when I'm already heading to the location. Only sending orders if I have another order with another gig app. Otherwise I'm just waiting on orders. It just makes no sense. Your pay is the worst for high miles orders. I just don't bother using your app anymore....it's just a complete waste of time. Fix your app GH!!!!!!

Stopped working awhile ago. I get notification of offer sounds and alert in notification bar, but no offer actually comes through on app. Then it says I missed 3 offers (when I've only gotten one notification), says it's gonna kick me off, then the whole app goes absolutely haywire. This has been going on at least 6 months and it's been absolutely unusable. Uninstall/reinstall, etc doesn't fix it.
Sign in bug... I tried to signed up for the first time. After inputing all my information it says my login is incorrect. I tired to reset password, still same issue. Support says I don't have an account associated with email yet when I try to sign up with the exact same email again like they suggested, it says it's tied to an account already. But on their end it doesn't reflect anything thus they can't help. Sorry but fix your issues or get a new development team.
grubhub pays well. but, sometimes, the notification rings through my multimedia volume instead of through the notifications volume. this can become frustrating especially if i miss an offer because of it. also, im not being given enough time to arrive at the merchant and there needs to be an alternative option to identify your identity when trying to login the app such as a phone number. overall, the app is great $$$$$$$$
Terribly low pay for very long distances. There's never any spots available for scheduling... I'll update to say that the offers seem to be a little better, and the miles aren't as far as before. it's great how they show the addresses before accepting, helps a great deal. There are many instances that I would arrive at a restaurant to pick up, and the order has been canceled or not even received. I don't get compensated for the time and gas wasted on driving there.
it's probably one of the worst ways to make spare money that I can think of. the customer support is aweful too. the customers can, and will just revoke your tip for whatever reason. I'm someone who goes out of their way to make quality deliveries and my acceptance rate dropped rapidly due to technical issues with the app and not being able to accept all orders due to freezing and glitches. also sends you to a completely wrong location 3/5 times. read the other reviews. I'm not the only one.
I open the app and it goes to a screen that shows several different reasons why I can not get into my account. I then tried to fill out one of those forms to try to get it fixed, well, the form on your end will let me select a reason for the problem, but it will not let me submit it and without that, my form will not get submitted either. No explanation or anything of what is going on.
Fix your offer notification system. The very first time it rings, it overrides the phones volume settings on your phone and plays exceptionally loud. then the following notifications go back to the actual setting of what you had on your phone as far as volume wise. it makes it very distracting when you're out of place that doesn't need to have loud notifications going off when you set your phone to low.
acts up quite often.. doesnt keep accurate location, making it take orders away from me when I am pulling up to the location. some places, when you hit navigate, it will send you to a complete different town and place, so if you aren't complete aware of where you are delivering, you may want to double check that you are being brought to the correct location, or you will have the order taken away from you.
Pretty great way to earn money, and the flexibility is nice to have. However, I do have a pretty big complaint. when an order comes in it makes a very loud cowbell sound, which is nice, but it keeps going off even after you've accepted the order and you are trying to get back to your GPS app. it distracts the driver while they are DRIVING. it also messes with navigation.
App constantly crashes, always wants to send you on super far runs and it messes up your ratings if you reject them. The rating system seems like it's designed to screw you over. The hotspot system is pointless. You could be in a bright red hotspot and it will still send you on a pick up that is 15 - 20 miles away for a next to nothing pay out. And since the fee increase, a lot of people are not tipping and the amount of deliveries has noticeably decreased.
Too Glitchy. I have finally finished my application, after a year of being on waiting list, and now that I start using it the app it's pretty glitchy. It sometimes doesn't notify me that there is an order, and if I miss it, then it starts ringing every, let's say, 30 seconds. If I miss three orders that again, the app didn't notify me for some reason, then the app just won't work properly and it starts sending me notifications every second. I had to delete the app for it to stop.
Wanted to work specific zones , and they extended the zones. It says to go to Hot spots lite up dark red. However, you get there only to have it vanishes, and then you have to travel to another spot(wasting gas)for it to at times to yield nothing. What I do like is that if you reject an order, there is a list of reasons (like if I'm going in a different direction) saves on the doubling back when you are out of range. All the blocks fill up fast so you may or may not get one
I just came back after taking 3 months off for surgery and the app seems to be broken. I am "missing" so many offers that I was never even notified for. The notifications are no longer audible. When I do get an offer, it disappears in the 2.5 seconds it takes me to pick up my phone and open the app, and then shows that i missed the offer. I am at 100% for scheduling adherence, 88% on time, and 40% (!!!) for acceptance. The app has become unusable and I may have to switch to a competitor.
Too many ghost orders due to poor notification system. The amount of offers I get labeled "missed" is 99% of the time due to the fact that I don't hear the cowbell ringing, even with my notification sound all the way up. And if I do manage to see it on, it's gone in 2 secs on the screen. Doesn't even give me a min to accept or decline the order. There really should be a floating notification like with other delivery driver, just fix the damn issue. This is ridiculous.
I've had problems with the app more than once. Specifically, if I get two offers with pickup at the same location. Recently, the 2nd order wasn't ready yet, I pressed "There's a problem" and said it'd be late. When the order WAS ready, I couldn't mark it as "Picked up." I tried everything, and it just sent me in circles. The app absolutely WILL NOT let you bypass anything & the orders were waiting. The help desk refused to fix it, just gave me addresses. My driver status was hurt. FRUSTRATING!
I hate this app. Trying to find what I need is so difficult. But for me, the worst part is the app switching me to Unavailable even when I'm doing an order. It's so frustrating!! They really need to fix this. Add in, I'll get a notification for an order, I'll accept it, then it doesn't show up under Tasks, and the order just disappears. If all of the delivery apps could merge their apps together, maybe there'd be a perfect app.
My experience is not the worst but it could be better, for me it's system issues with orders I'm really hoping is available and ready, and that's an issue with me, over time I've been left with a few dollars from a considerable higher paying order, get to the restaurant and the order is not showing up in their system what's up with that? Another thing too!! Don't text if an order unassigned send an alert. I've had issues with that as well.
App keeps freezing up on start. New updates change nothing, and the early march update just makes everything slower. Also drivers shouldn't be punished for having to wait in a drive-thru, it already means less orders for us, so don't penalize us for something we can't control. Give us an option to report long wait times at places so we don't get flagged as having a 'late order'. Would be nice if the times were extended to be later in the night as well; Some people want to order in the AM too.
Terrible app. Won't get notices for offers sometimes, and then get penalized. When I do get one, I go into the app, and the offer doesn't even appear. "Missing" two offers results in an in-app message chastising you for missing them and threatens that if you miss three, they'll switch you to unavailable. Because of this poor app design, I have mixed 3 before, and then get locked out of the app and can't get offers, even if I try to switch availability back on. HUGE PROBLEMS!
