So disappointed. The call connected, but froze. I got to see a couple of still frames, as the video was frozen and I got to hear a total of about four words for the whole 20 minute phone call. I tried reentering the visit several times but it didn't make a difference. When the video was frozen, the sound was out as well. I hung on thinking something would change but it did not

This system is ineffecient. Very frustrating to have the opportunity to speak with a jailed family member to have this system audio not work or when it does to have so much noise and static that you can't hear each other. Very unreliable. Some days the video is just black. You can't hear or see each other. GTL doesn't want you to update your Microsoft system. But if you don't, you won't get the necessary system and security updates to protect your computer. They should remove themselves or be removed and allow another company to take over video visitation since this system obviously isn't working. I paid for two visits that did not work and have tried calling several times for a refund and held for more than 15 minutes each time and still was not able to get customer service or support on the phone. This is very bad.

This app will charge you even if you put in the wrong security code for your credit card. Sometime you wont get a visit scheduled even if you paid. I have not been automatically refunded as I was told I would be when I called to customer service. The customer service is very bad they don't even look into the problem. I believe they don't even have an option to refund on their end. Its sad because it has become a recurring problem. Oh yeah of course the visit volume is bad on the inmates end. The inmate only gets like 5 minutes of hearing the other person. Should be fixed asap a waste of time and money.

I used this app. A year ago and it worked ok. It had some errors but I was able to video chat. Two weeks ago I set up a visit no problem. 15 minutes before the visit, I couldn't log in! On the login page, the facility list has to load before the email address and password can be entered. This list did not load and I missed my visit! The facility and GTL are pointing fingers at each other and I am in the middle! I lost $8.00. some people have lost more! What is going on!

i would give a negative number if i could. with all of our communication technology we have in the Great United States, you would think that this type of system would be state of the art. Its just as run down and old as the jail sytems are. its a dinosaur even compared to simple mobile phone technology. The term "Lowest Bidder" comes to mind just like airplane and nuclear facility contractors! Plus their technical staff must be in the US working bankers hours!

havent been able to schedule a visit since he got approved for me to be able to schedule call the number use the contact us and called the prison he's in still can't use .even with the number they gave me to register with.

Try to log in and it tells me the password or email address is incorrect. So I click the forgot password, type my email address in, then it takes me to another screen to confirm it, I do, it tells me the email address can not be found. So I go to the home screen, click Register and type all my information in, click Register. Then it tells me the email address is already Registered!!! WHAT THE??? Then why does it say my email address can not be found when I click forgot password???!!!!!

I got the vismobile app and add on, set up a video visit but there is nothing in Google play or the app telling how to use it. I paid $10 for a video visit that didn't happen. I feel like I should get my money back along with instructions on how to get video visits to work. My son has not seen his daughters in over 4 years. They were all excited and looking forward to this visit. What a big disappointment! Not to mention I'm in tears over the whole ordeal! Edit: 5-6 video visits never worked!!!

Can not hear 9/10 times it's so expensive but can never hear anything spend the whole time trying to hear each other or having to repeat what we said and not to mention it's 9$ for 25 minutes and 4$ for 10 minutes it's crazy they should update and fix there apps. Hope they end up doing something about it sooner or later it really sucks!!

It lags ALOT ALOT ALOT ALOT, but at least I get to see and talk to my boyfriend which is wonderful since it sometimes gets hard not seeing him. So this keeps us as close as we can get until he comes home 🥰. Just please fix the issue with the lagging and also update so that it works on IOS (Apple) phones because I had to go and buy an Android phone just to be able to talk to him which is rediculous if you ask me.

so this app was working great for me for about a week. then it just stopped working. I uninstalled, reinstalled reset and restarted my phone multiple times and nothing is working still. I have sent about 10 messages to who ever is in charge of the app. and that did nothing. they didnt reach out or fix the app or problem at all. I just tried re downloading it after a week and it's still ALL BAD! I'm frustrated and this is dumb and a waste of time. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I signed up to speak to someone incarcerated and kept putting money in it. They took my money easily and fast but everytime i looked at my balance it was zero. We tried to do a video visit and it lasted probably 2 minutes then the screen froze. After we tried to use it several more times nothing worked . I emailed corporate for . Nothing and no response. I will never use them again. I will definitely make sure if i ever get in an car accident i will never ever use them.

if I could give them 0, I would. First of all, not everyone is tech savvy. I paid for a visit 2 times and would go to the visit and was redirected, and a message would pop up saying there was a bug on their end. send me to the log on screen and make me log in all over again. When I called to get a refund cause of all this and multiple attempts to connect, they denied the refund. saying it was my fault. Good luck, and I hope you are tech-savvy!

Reading the reviews really helped me to watch out for certain errors. Like the the (2 of 2) app icon will not appear, but its enabled, as long as (1 of 2) is downloaded. I was able to see the time before the visit at the bottom then I was directed to the page where I were directed to hit "Start Video". There was a lot of echoing with and without my headphones. Overall, I'm excited I was able to see my baby! We didn't even care the echo was mocking us lol. Serious improvements are needed ASAP!

Needs to be iphone friendly. non stop freezing and way to slow, takes forever to load anything, to many times does it mess up n you have to completely back out of the app n close it out n re login. When on a visit it freezes constantly n if you move your phone the inmate says they can't see you n it'll go to a white screen and freeze so you can't even move your phone when on a visit even if you yourself move it does that. And if they cancel your free visit they don't let you reschedule for free

THESE APPS STINK! For 2years I've had the same issue! We're both pixilated. Our videos get dropped. I have to hold perfectly still or our video gets shut out, or I can't see him, but I can see my picture and vice versa. Our sound is staticy & robotic. We spend more time trying to fix our video than actual conversation! I wish the IDOC could find a better app to be used. IDK how many times I have to update a rating. I have commented at least 3 different times in 2 years. I'm done w/y'all

I've been unable to load the facility list for 3 days now, this is after trying different Internet connections in different areas, deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times and refreshing my phone a million times. I ended up missing my video visit 2 days ago because of this problem. It's extremely frustrating. Please try and fix this ASAP

Infuriating! No stars because this process is horrible, and the service is worse. First I had no idea about the second app, second once I finally figured that out and downloaded it it needed an update already. Once we were finally able to have our visit the sound was messed up and the video does not line up with the camera! You have to sit awkwardly twisting your wrist to be seen and then you are still at an odd angle on the screen! I don't even have enough space to make all of the complaint!

This app sucks every Saturday I get up at 5:50am to try and schedule visits and dam site always crashes or freezes or simply refuse to work at all. Get error page all the time then when get an appt time schedule it goes to agree reserve I push it and nothing happens that has been doing for 5 weeks now and not once have I been able to get video visit scheduled. This app sucks
