It's hard to say if I like the app to buy it because you can only do one custom workout, everything else is locked. I think they have a lot of workout options, they have a timer for how long it out do a set and a resting timer. they also let you filter the body parts you want to do so you can easily choose which to workout. they also let you know which muscles you're using using a autonomy diagram and they try track which muscles are recovering from your last workout so that's a cool feature.
Doesn't do what it claims. it's very clunky to use while working work. It does have many exercises to pick from. However, it is not really all that easy to adjust or replace workouts on the fly. I was under the impression that the app would list related exercises to pick from when replacing an exercise. It doesn't. I lost my first couple workouts after a series of wrong button presses. I will not be using this anymore.
not a bad app. it does have a large amount of workouts premade so it can fit almost anything you want to do. It will let you adjust what you want so you can customize anything. That is unfortunately about the only thing I think this app has going for it. I used to use another app for free for better tracking. the smart suggestions are nonsense and the app will ask to adjust something and will either change the wrong thing or nothing. it won't carry your weights to new exercises. don't pay
This app would be acceptable if, after a few weeks of purchasing a premium annual subscription, it didn't start showing advertisements and prompting me to subscribe to the premium version again. To make matters worse, when attempting to file a complaint through the FAQ section, clicking the send button directs you to a PayPal page, implying that you need to pay in order to complain. THIS IS ABSURD.
It's good for helping one to discover various ways to work out their target muscle groups which saves it from having a one star rating. Outside of this basic functionality however, everything is locked behind a paywall and never relents on conveying to the user that they need to cough up the dough in order to access the vast majority of the app's functionality. Think EA but for working out.
Good selection of excersizes with details. great for tracking and muscle fatigue. But a little buggy. When creating a workout plan, the number of reps and weight do not always save. Also, issues with deleting excersizes. Sometimes a different one is deleted. And after rearranging excersizes, when you select the excersize, the one that was in that location before comes up.
No search feature (huge issue), subscription is shoved down your throat, it is sort of required for half the functionality. Was looking for simple type and search then add some reps basically just pen and paper but with some data charts, this is a whole suite you need to learn and effectively buy into. Some menus were still in Spanish which isn't good but 99% was properly ported to English for this version.
take some getting used to. for example I wanted to edit an exercise while I was doing a workout and I didn't think thay was possible but it was, it just wasn't as easy as I think it could be. also it would be nice to be able to pause workouts and not have to discard then if I leave the app. again something that may be possible that I just haven't figured out yet. however it's a great app that I'll continue to use.
I used this for one day before it demanded I pay. I think a yearly subscription for an app that only will ever do one thing is ridiculous. I'd pay $40 for this once to own it, but yearly? Back off. I don't need you to update this. I really liked it for the day I used it, I will say, except for the fact that I couldn't edit workout routines to add or remove a day and the fact that it uses sliders instead of letting you simply input things like weight.
Seems like it's great for the target user, but that's not me. I wanted an easily customizeable workout tracker, and fir this app to be worth my time, I would need to be able to bypass the custom workout generator and begin building my own workouts without all the clutter and fuss. I could probably make this app work very well for me, but the additional time it would take is not quite worth it.
This is a good option for a digital coach. With the new update for phones, it's finally a premium. There are times the app messes up and zeros out the exercises you just did, but a quick click through gets it corrected.
Very good app, especially for the price. As a beginner, it helps me monitor my progress as it shows the previous workout reps/weights, plus notes can be added, ideal for seat height etc.
I really love this app because it helps me stay on track while im working out. I was relentless for forgetting where I was. I also like how its super customizable for all aspects of the work out.
I am disappointed to report that the exclusive workouts, a feature I have valued as a premium user for several years, are no longer available within the application.
I like that the app shows which muscles are fatigued. It would be even better if it also showed which muscles are neglected or weak and suggested exercises based on that. I’m a paid user and find the app quite expensive, though I appreciate the monthly plan option. One issue: when I customized my workout (changing from legs to chest/shoulders), the workout name didn’t update and still showed “legs.” It would be helpful if workout names updated automatically based on the muscles used.
I got this when I was new to the gym and it is so helpful. I have been able to set workouts that are challenging and helping me grow. I also like that I can replace ones that I either can't do yet or don't feel comfortable.
decent apps but the adds show up in weird places like right before a workout when you just want to get cracking. I understand that add revenue helps support the Devs but they could have them play during rest times between sets when most people are just staring at the wall anyway. and now an update has lost all my workouts, would give zero stars if I could found my workouts but still caused a ball ache back up to two stars
I wish I could manage my own training with the same structure that the app manages its own generated training. Also, the "Don't show this again" check box doesn't work, even if you give a review. Does it only work if I give 5 stars?
when we purchase this is this secure? I have purchased through a couple of apps before and get a fraud alert someone using my card in another state. Who is your gateway you use? Is it secure and is it fully protected? I cannot give an accurate review until I have used this. so I'll give a 3
I picked monthly, and the app charged me more than I expected, so be careful when using this. I selected the monthly $3 option, but they charged me for the whole year.
