Don't get clear warning or comms about fees or charges etc beforehand. Giving me no opportunity to rectify. Can't find transactions or balance going back beyond 12 months to verify the charges. Contacted via the app chat, it failed every time i tried to log back in, causing the customer service rep to time out and close my chat. Turned out there was no fee. so the app initially gave me the wrong information. Not to mention all the latency and log in fails even though I used biometrics.

please fix it so that when I've read notice like statements in the app, it doesn't still show unread notifications unless I log out or force close. Doesn't matter how many times I open them, leave the page, go to next message. Still shows the envelope icon. Silly basic things like this, no matter how many updates you make stop me rating this higher

irritating. it is not possible to do everything as they claim. I'm always required to call them. no longer free calls to banks nor rapid delivery of replacement cards, the replacement cards are sent basic mail, cheapest option! not registered or tracked. not secure, and yet I go through the wringer for identification and security when I talk to them. hypocrites!!

Registration is almost impossible on the app. For a start I kept encountering a "technical issues" pop up with no further information. After creating an account online and logging in on my phone it asked me to create a memorable phrase, but at no point did it explain the requirements of length and numbers and so I was stuck. Once again I had to go back onto the website to complete this. The all seems fine, but the registration process is abysmal.

That last score was all before this constant hassle now it decides to say my device i am using is unsafe so won't let me go on my own account cos it can't cipher between suspicious activity and me knowing it's my girlfriends previous device with her info still saved in it! if it's any good at being secure it surely knows what is causing it to know if unsafe or not! I can't access it now and realise if you have a "bug", basically your unable to withdraw cash for things we do still need by paying

The dispute process is very poor for a bank. you have to message an agent on live chat to open a dispute rather than being able to do it yourself viewing the transaction. then you have to email what you think is necessary and it's not clear how the process works as I was being told the email I used to send evidence didn't match my bank account when it did. so in future I'll avoid using this bank for any high value purchase due to the nature of the dispute process.

It would be useful if you could see the account number next to the persons name on your list of transfers. Or have the ability to give transferees nick names/notes. Currently if you have multiple accounts for a person there's no way to tell the difference. If you click on a transferees name to see previous transactions different accounts are mixed together.

I use this regularly and find it has kept me far more in touch with my account activities. Paying one off amounts for certain things is easy as is setting up SO's. Update 14/2/26: Trying to view my pin on the app - On the "select account" page, the "View pin" box, with the "show pin" blue selection box, and the pop-up message saying it will show quickly, cover the black? pin. The page seems to work, but I can't see my pin because it's covered by the 2 boxes.

I have used the Halifax app for a number of years and have been very pleased with the ease of access and the extent of its operation. Unfortunately the app has been updated and renders my phone unable to use the app. I assume there is no way Halifax can enable me to use the previous app prior to update. So I have the choice to go online or transfer my account to another bank. At great expense, I updated my mobile. Now credit card In and Out notifications are not available. Not customer focused.

I made the mistake of registering for the credit check. Now every week I'm being spammed with notifications about it, and it's impossible to turn the notifications off. I found the exact setting in the app to disable it, but when you switch it off, it just reenables itself.

the banking app is great easy to use once security is set up. quick responses and good telephone support with lovely helpful customer services. lots of ways to work out where your money is going and budget. Also lots of great features including cash back offers, travel money and shopping discounts. A great rate regular saver can run alongside your current account.

Confusing now there is two accounts, I wish they where separate again. Also l cannot seem to pay the minimum amount as soon as I see it, it still asks for more nearer the payment time. Hopeless! Once the balance is paid off I may have to close this account.

Good app, quite quick, had it for a while without any problems. Never had any problems with this app, very easy to use like the way they make sure its you before paying for big purchases, in this day and age security is a big thing, feel very secure using the app. 28/1/2024 Been using this app for quite a while now without any issues, they keep updating the app with useful info which I find very useful. Like other comments, make sure you sign out when your finished.

After following the vague steps to set up access on the app with usernames and memorable information (that isn't a password, but does still require letters and numbers, very much like a password), they determined they need to post a letter to my parent or guardian with my access details. Given the mortgage is in my name, I'm 36 years old and they were the ones who sent me a letter about signing up for online banking, Im surprised my mother still needs to sign off on this

*2 Aps updates later and still getting the security error on Samsung S23* Since the latest update app keeps saying my phone doesn't meet security, even while I'm actually logged in!!! While logged in it flashes up a security screen and you have to exit the app. Others are having the same problem so its a fault with the app. I've restarted phone and app, cleared cache and all the useless processes they advise on the page you are redirected to.

Just updated and there is still an ongoing problem of not being able to deposit cheques. "Move camera closer, make sure the edges are visible." My phone, s21 ultra is taking clear images of a white cheque on a black background. So this is clearly the apps fault. My iPad used to work too but now does the same. Please, please fix this feature. Thank you.

Struggling to add new contacts to pay. App quite rightly checks the account details of the new contact, however, whilst the background screen moves on to the payment section, the pop up box for Halifax checking with the other bank freezes and remains. If I exit the app, the contact isn't created and if I wait, the app times out.

I just want to do online banking, not "Unwrap" stuff. I had to close the app and reopen it to not be forced to go through a spam slideshow. Same goes for advertising products before taking me to my bank accounts. Not on. EDIT: This is now the 4th time this has happened. I'm a wheelchair user, so when I have to close, then reopen the app in public, it's a massive pain. Fix it or I move banks.

Honestly I find the app frustrating. I kept going round in circles trying to pay from my personal bank account. It wasn't clear that you actually have to physically add the amount you want to pay rather than just select pay full amount.
