HappyKids - Kid-Safe Videos

This app is exceptional but pretty dumb because even if I block a specific content, kids can cancel that. This app is meant for kids upto their tweens so it's completely stupid to have a block button that parents cannot enforce. Atleast a password or pin code should be required for unblocking. Otherwise what's the point? Also, if we can block religious content, that'll be great.

Beautiful and Perfect! There's only ONE problem, I'm on a TCL phone right now and I'm sick tired of trying to remove the screen where you pause or play the video or find another one without going back n' forth. Also, why is there a genre named "Tweens"? Is it supposed to be twins? Or teens? I dunno, but I'm real mad. I'm giving this app a 3 outta 5 and if fix both, I give 5 outta 5

This "Happy Kids" app has awesome shows and movies. Even if it's for little kids, it's for adults too. 😎🥷

this app is very good because it helps my kids love to learn and to be off of YouTube that has some not very educational videos.

I love that I can mostly let my kiddo watch what she wants here, but there is only one show I don't want her watching. The app has a block option, but it's pointless because, yes, you can block the show, but if they come across episodes of it they can watch it. You have to manually block every episode. It's ridiculous. That is my only issue with this app.

I downloaded the app on my phone just to leave a review. We found the app on our tv and I fell in love then went and downloaded it on my daughter's firestick. I love the way it's set up by age groups. I often babysit a 6 month old and like that it has a spot for younger children who just need bright colors. My girls are two years apart 4 and 6 and I'm able to easily go to a section of shows appropriate for their ages with things of their intrest. Hardly any commercials. Lots of options

good and bad. Content is good and safe for kids so big plus on that. BUT, installed app on TV, it is a little glitchy. slow, and we have to exit any show that is being watched before switching TV input to another HDMI input or the audio from the Happy kids show will still be playing even though the TV is using another input. AND HOW COW IS IT LOUD! we normally have our TV's Volume at 20 but for the Happy Kids app we have to set it to 5-8.

My son who is two really likes this app because he can navigate and find shows all on his own. I'm giving it a two star though because he is stuck in the Spanish mode and he cannot find English language shows anymore. Blippi in Spanish is just not the same. I like the idea of him being multilingual, but it should be easier to find which language you want.

Always rated this app 5 stars as we all love it. But I guess they've got very popular now and have added an insane amount of adverts in all of a sudden. Which pop up even between a song. Me & my girlie are literally watching the same 2 adverts 4 times in a row. (Jiggly pets & juicer) Its insane. To go from none, to loads every few minutes. We won't be watching much anymore and it was our go to for the SimpleSong category.

i installed this as an alternative to youtube kids as I thought the shows would be more vetted and it would be more like netflix/prime for kids. initially it was good as there are no violent shows - youtube kids offers the same. the bright colours and logos is more enticing and very addictive for kids too. the reason I am giving 2 stars is because I was watching it with my daughter and the same ad came on 3 times and each time the ad repeated at least 2 times.

Easy for kids to navigate. My only thing is I would love to be able to block some of those shows. Yes they are all for kids, but some I don't want my son watching. If you can add a feature that allows blocking and removing certain channels , I would love to give this app 5 stars!!!! Other than that, thank you so much for this app! No ads are the best!!

I absolutely love this app.. works for by 15 month and 5 year old....... however ever since recent updates it is not works the same, keeps freezing, changing videos on the middle, not loading. I thought it was just me but it is happening to other people I know who uses the app, different streaming systems, different wifi connections.. I truly hope this gets fixed soon

honestly, just opened this app for the first time and wish I had a long time ago! it seems to have a lot of content that either I'm ok with my kid watch or actually Want him to be watching; and the content that I don't want him to watch, I can easily block! it also seems like it will be easy for my 3 year old to navigate through without getting frustrated

Love this app! Both my children(6 and 2) use it. It has replaced YouTube and youtube kids. My only flaw would be the cast to tv button. I really wish there was an option to remove it or lock it. My 2 year old accidentally hits it all the time! Other than that, it really is a wonderful app!

can't seem to stop the video controls from reappearing on the screen

I dont know if its my app but when i try to watch the last 5 episodes of Monkie Kid (starting from "Lifetime of mistakes" and the episodes after that) they show an error screen and send me back to season 3 episode one. I have re downloaded the app many times and those handfull of episodes still buffer and wont even load. And on my TV (Roku), the episodes buffer constantly and make the app load every couple of minutes before continuing so much that i just stop watching completely. Pls fix this.

thank you for filtering out inappropriate videos and making this actually for kids. we switched from YouTube kids when we found our daughter watching mock pregnancy videos on YouTube kids. how that is for kids is absurd!!!! Now I no longer have to worry. thank you!!!

Accidentally found the app on TV. Although due to internet filteration in my country I had to open the videos through a VPN, I and my kids really loved the app. Smooth streaming without stop or lag. My son hardly liked watching English learning videos before, but now he is so enthusiastic. I only wish there were different qualities of videos available for different internet speeds.

The app is great! I mainly use the Roku version at home. I think it's great as it is, but it would be great to see a way to favorite certain shows, to build your own playlists, and an easier way to find what you want; I know you can search with the app, but I've yet to find a way to search with the Roku version. Just keep working on it; it's great right now, but I know it can be even better!

Very glitchy app; there are parts where the right episode doesn't play, meaning the title is wrong, and episodes are missing, and it's very frustrating to work. This is just the mobile app, however. Works fine on my TV.
