Update: Solution to having to start all over after clicking on an item. Now you are able to go back to the previous page/item after clicking away AND you can review previously viewed items conveniently displayed in a dedicated line! Like the ability to "favorite" an item in the app and refer back to it when I'm shopping in store or online. HFT listens to suggestions for improvements to their app, just like their tool lines, which is why they continue to be my go to for value and quality!

Pretty solid app, so no real complaints. If you shop at Harbor Freight it should do what you need it to. Replacing the "Load More" with automatic pagination/"infinite scrolling" would be an improvement while browsing results. I'd also like to see an option to sort my "My List" by aisle number (Let's be real, HF. I'm still going to wander aimlessly around the store after I stick what I'm looking for in my basket).

Great app but searching is painful. When you open an item to review then go back to look at other items in the search list, the app brings you to the home page... You then have to type in what you are searching for again (everytime). I normally give up and go boot up my computer. I would settle for the word that I searched on staying in the search box and having to hit "search" again but I think the app needs do both meaning, keep the word you're searching on in the box and go back to the list.

Love Harbor Freight The app is great and easy to use except when I go into the harbor freight store. For some reason I can't get it to load up in the store and I cannot blame the app I think it's just a bad reception area. The biggest improvement I can recommend would be to automatically save the coupons into your account much like Kroger and Safeway does. If you want to buy you you save it to your account and it is automatically taken off at the cash register without having to show a barcode

Good app, I use it a lot and it's helpful. - edit, was 5 star, but the app hasnt opened for over a year despite uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. I figured it would get fixed but it still just says harbor freight on a red background and freezes there every time, the app won't open ever. I just use my browser. It is annoying though.

The app won't load any pictures of the items except for the first picture. Then, when clicking on the description, the website will list all the sizes of wrenches or sockets, but the app does not. So you can't see other pictures of the item that shows the back of the item or close ups of the item to see their sizes, and then their sizes are not listed. Both problems are solved by using their website, so why bother downloading an app for the same thing but worse experience.

Harbor Freight, for the man with construction, automotive and safety gear needs on a budget! It's been a major store for my many different jobs/hobbies! I've been going here especially for all the deals they have I scored great on my three-ton floor jack, can't beat a parking lot sale either! app has been a major help with all my needs! App is easy to navigate and doesn't crash on my phone which is great!

Favorite/heart feature doesn't work. It says it's a connectivity issue in the error pop-up. I've checked updates, restarted my phone, and reinstalled the app after clearing it from my phone(including clearing storage to make sure it's a hard reset). Speeds are all good, no packet loss or ping spikes. I've also noticed the app keeps signing me out from time to time. It's functional to pull up coupons and check what they have.

I hate being prompted to accept or reject cookies, especially when the notice takes up the whole screen. Yes, my font is set to just above medium, but still... You need to have a setting of Novice, Semi-Expert, or Expert. Semi-Experts and Experts know inherently that cookies are pretty much essential, especially if the user doesn't want to enter in the same information over and over again.

Shows in-stock at location(s) selected and easy to use/purchase from. As always, know that these are cheaper versions of high-end tools and may not last as long in work environment vs. home/personal environment. Very happy with all but one of the tools I've purchased. Compressor (home/personal use) is still running strong at 10+ years old now!

One of the most important ways I like to use websites & apps is to create "shopping lists" for those times when I am going to the store. It's so much easier to create the list using the website & access it via the app in the store. However, since the app doesn't give you the option to log in, you can't access the list without recreating it using the app. Why would you expect customers to do twice the work?!? Really dumb!

Fantastic shopping app. You can even save coupons alongside your wishlist, now. The app lets me research HF products on my own, at home, without asking sales people in a store. Only one issue kept me from giving a 5 star rating. When I share my wish list, I'd rather send a link that opens my actual list on the web site/app, rather than sending the entire wish list in a very long email. That way list changes can be updated without sending another email.

What can I say, it promises what it delivers...only thing I wish they would do is make it so we could make a credit card payment through this app, and add the ability to make in store credit card payments as well. Other than that easy to use, and I'd recommend always calling the store about an item because the website may say one thing and then you get there and it turns out they don't have it... actually haven't had that happen on this app yet, others yes, just not here. The app is a great way to access coupons & present them at the store. Tapping ♥︎ on products & coupons (to save items to "my list") makes them easy to find later. Being able to see if a product is in stock at my favorite location & what aisle it can be found on saves me a lot of time. There are minor improvements still to be made to the app, but several such improvements have been made in the last year or two that I've been using it, so it's really 4.5 ★'s for me.

The app itself is fine. A little clunky in places. But the reason for the low rating is the NOTIFICATIONS. I feel like I get at least 10-15 push notifications a week from these guys. If there was a place to customize these notifications in the app (frequency, type, etc), it wouldn't be a problem. But I'm going to have to block it through Android, so I won't get any at all now, which sucks, cause I don't mind seeing the occasional deal. But getting 1-3 notifications per day is overkill.

I don't generally write reviews only to be negative, so I'll mention that I love your stores! 👍🏼 Now let's talk about this app. This app has caused me more grief, and frustration than any amount of savings on cheap tools could possibly compare to! Everytime I've tried to make a plan for what I need, search out possible savings on coupons, and then go out to a store and buy what I could in person, the app has been a nightmare! Just end up losing my list and scrambling! Please fix!!! 🤞🏼🙏

Some products (red colored) wash out on the screen sometimes. I'd like to be able to open the browser page from a product page, the app doesn't always have the full details I'm interested in for a product (like photos). Search can be buggy. I love the favorites list feature, and the number of push notifications is not too obnoxious. The scan coupons function in the upper right of the list is a real time saver! I also preferred the red hearts prior to the update.

Pretty good app. Mostly does what I expect, is pretty quick and the favorites list will make quickly snatching up stuff in store easier. It has a button to display all coupons that apply to items in your list. However I have noticed that items that I keep in there for long periods, waiting for a sale or its there because it is consumable, wont show the "sale price" on the item. So you still have to search for the same item to find the deals. Sell more by telling me when a fav drops price!

It's easy to save the coupons and it's well organized, but there is room for improvement. I noticed that if I lock my phone and unlock it to the app it says "no connection". If I switch to a different app and come back, "no connection". I have to close this app and start it up again, losing my place. You can't buy on this app aparently, but that's ok because I have a HF closeby. You only get one picture per product and can't switch through different colors without going back to the product list.

I'll change it to 5 stars when the ITC browsing/scrolling is fixed. While scrolling down the ITC deals, if I tap on an item to learn more, when I go back to the list, it starts all the way at the top, meaning if I've scrolled down several pages worth, dutifully tapping the "load more" button several times, I have to figure out where I was when I left the list to look at an individual item. Also the ITC items should be searchable. Other than that it's fantastic!
